Worked well for three friends traveling together

The property was easy to rent and the owner communicated promptly when we hand questions. I may have missed it in the information provided but it would be nice to know how we should leave things when we left. We took sheets off the beds and put them beside the washer. But we were not sure if this was preferred.

Close to the gas station, restaurant, the Denali Park esp at the time of the year when everything was closed around in Healy. We were lucky enough to witness Northern Lights just few min away from the cabin. Delighted by owner’s hospitality, quick response when needed and fridge was loaded with breakfast supplies.

Tad's place was ideal for a few days in the Denali area. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our party of 2 adults. We appreciated the fridge and hot plate. Making breakfast on our own and packing lunch saved us both time and money. Water pressure and hot water in the shower was great, and the washer and dryer were very efficient. The location was far enough from the highway to feel secluded, yet close enough for convenience. We enjoyed dinner at 49th State Brewery. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our time. Very clean, well maintained. It's a bit snug fitting all 5 of us and luggage. The hot plate was great to have as well as the breakfast items provided. Easy drive into Denali each day.

This is a small cabin that sits very close to Denali national park. Excellent location. One thing I have against this place is that it is a bit cramped for a family of 5. Why? There are two beds: one as you enter and another in the attic. These are fine. But there is another twin bed, next to the bathroom. This bathroom is open saloon style. No one in our family wanted to sleep there. Still it is a decent place to stay for 4, 5 if bathroom is not an issue.

We stayed two nights with our fam of five (2 adults, 3 kids). Cabin is only 15 minutes north of Denali and very convenient. Check in was extremely easy and Tad even provided a few breakfast items for us. We would stay here again. On our way out, we were able to spot a cow moose and her calf right by the road.

Our family of 5 stayed here. It was a little tight but worked just fine. We would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay near Denali. Even saw a moose eating dinner upon arrival. Had to wait for him to move so we could enter the driveway.

We do the Denali Park Road Lottery almost every year. Used to have our name on a list that let us travel the road anytime we wanted. This was our families 47th trip down that Denali Park Road in our own vehicle. We have stayed in all sorts of accommodations over the years. This cabin was perfect for our situation. A little funky, but pure Healy type accommodations. Seeing that the Glitter Gulch Denali Village was dark and closed down almost entirely, its good to have VRBO and the citizens of Healy to remain open this summer/fall providing the needed accommodations.

Perfect set up for our family of 5. Just what we needed for our trip to Denali! Loved that it had a few essential items already there. Really a great Alaskan adventure cabin! Ted was super quick to respond to any questions we had.

This is a very cute little cabin, however the property is located in the interiors, if you dont care about living close to city - you will love this cabin. It is 20 min drive to denali park and since it is in the outskirts amidst forest - there is a good chance you can view the northern lights from this property during the winter.

Efficient cabin with all comforts a short drive from Denali. Has a small deck for grilling and eating outdoors.

This place is awesome. Its a nice, quiet place to stay and only a short drive to the park. The power went out the first night and Thad took care of us. Give this place a serious look!

There was breakfast food provided in the cabin. With 5 of us it was a small. But was a great price and location . Had snow hares eating grass in the morning and evenings and saw a couple moose on the way into town. Was quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the private grill and deck. the washer and dryer, the full kitchen, the nice location, and especially the gnomes!

Great place to lay our head down after a couple long days exploring Alaska. Very close to Denali.

We were planning a trip to Denali and wanted to stay somewhere away from the touristy Glitter Gulch area just outside of the park and this was the perfect spot! The little house/cabin was nestled in the woods, right next to the owner's home, though you would never know it based on the views out the front door, and the privacy that they gave us. It's a small and sweet spot - with such a perfectly comfortable bed downstairs that we just ordered a topper of the same make for our own bed at home! The mattress in the loft made for a comfortable and cozy sleeping spot too. The kitchen was fine for breakfasts and making sandwiches for the day's picnic, and there was a grill and all the utensils for it on the terrific deck with a picnic table (with padded benches!). We really appreciated the washer/dryer after a few dirty days of hiking! The trees and the breeze were both so peaceful that we slept like babies in our little home away from home. Lots of thoughtful touches made it a terrific stay in a perfectly gorgeous location.

Overall very good experience. Tas was excellent to work with and overall is Avery nice cabin for a family. 5 is a bit tight but we made it work. Thanks Tad.

We loved the cabin. It was fully equipped, comfortable, and in a great location for visiting Denali National Park. Our host was kind and helpful.

This was the perfect cabin for us. Just a little ways, ~15 minutes, from Denali NP. Love the full fridge/ freezer and the fact that we could do laundry there too.

This cabin in the woods was perfect! We loved the proximity to Denali while also enjoying privacy in the Alaskan woods! We used the grill and the hot plate and they functioned perfectly! And such a treat to have a few breakfast items already there and waiting.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay in the Denali area. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and our boys enjoyed sleeping in the loft. It was awesome to be able to grill steaks and sit at the picnic table outside on the deck. Tad was a perfect host. After talking with him, we found out that we had both worked for the same tour company many years ago. He has experience in the hospitality industry and it shows in his property! We will most certainly be back next time we are in the Denali area!

The Gnome Home is in a perfect spot- its only 15-20 min drive to Denali NP but away from everything on the strip in town. The location in the woods was so nice and extremely quiet and got to see a moose in neighbors yard. Having breakfast staples in the fridge was greatly appreciated along with condiments and seasonings if you used the grill on the deck. There was plenty of room for all our luggage and gear and suited our needs perfectly. I would stay there again and highly recommend staying there! Very glad to have found the Gnome Home at Denali Woods.

Stay at the cabin was only for a couple days and it worked out perfectly! The morning we left a female moose and her calf were eating down the lane! Thanks for sharing your cabin!

The cabin is in a great location outside of Healy. You're close to amenities, but not too close. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean. Plenty of sheets and towels were provided. The only negative to say is that the cabin is very small. There is no space to spare. The only place for us to keep our suitcases was on top of the twin bed in the bathroom and laundry area.Our group was 4 adults. The layout

We all enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable both nights. Be sure all guests are close because the only bathroom is in close proximity to the second bedroom with little privacy. Great location for our visit to Denali National Park!
