Great location for LandLovers and WaterLovers. Close to good restaurants, stores and Sarasota Airport. Pool and restaurant on site. If you have a boat, short canal ride out to Sarasota Bay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo in Whitfield Estates. We would stay there again.

I stayed at this property for two weeks while visiting family and friends in Sarasota. I found the room to be true to the listing. I was happy to have a mini fridge, toaster and coffee maker in the room. The only negative experience was the condition of the bath and toilet - both are in need of replacement/upgrade however, I feel that these issues are somewhat reflective of the reasonable price of the room. On a more positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable and firm (which I prefer), the tv was a nice size and enjoyable to watch before bed, the wifi worked great, the view was fantastic and I enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets. The evening entertainment and restaurant was an added plus - Food was good and people were friendly. Pool was a bonus and kept at a really nice temperature. I loved watching the planes fly overhead and did not find it intrusive at all because it was not constant. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and thought the unit was of great value for what it was. I did purchase some cleaning products (floor cleaner, toilet brush, broom/mop), given I was there for two weeks. This was my choice since housecleaning was not included (as stated in listing). I only hope that these items remain in the unit because it did make a difference to have them available to clean the floors and bathroom area. I found them quite necessary, especially if someone is staying in unit for more than a few days. Other positives; I loved the proximity to the beaches and local conveniences like restaurants and museums. The property is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. I would not hesitate to book this unit again and plan to do so in the future.

this room was a hotel room in the Ramada inn. No kitchen, no extra space, not a house. It's to close to a noisy bar and the airplanes landing at Sarasota fly directly over the marina in front of the room. Total disappointment.

Basic accomodation

The room faced a great harbor and it was a lovely view. The room was pretty clean, had a microwave and coffee maker. The floors could use a washing. The planes do land close by so you occasionally hear them even periodically through the night. Thank you for having us in your place!

Perfect spot for a vacation.

This was our third time at this location and it is perfect for us while in the area. We will be back again!

The place wasn’t bad, but I wish they would provide maybe a broom, the smell in unit should be looked at I believe it’s from the air conditioner. The air had a horrible loud noise which I believe after calling in they fixed. But they never returned my call. The bed was extremely hard! I would invest in a mattress topper! I wouldn’t stay again if I was trying to save money!

Perfect place to hang out! Loved the Tiki bar, staff & music was better than expected! Pool was great! Perfect place to suit our needs! We loved watching the boats & the sunset! Would definitely recommend!

Room was clean and nice, was over all a nice stay. Amazing view. Pool was awesome. Seeing the planes descending into srq was so cool. Overall only a few complaints lamps were the only source of light so you had to have the curtains open to see. Bed really sucked, but that’s nothing that he could do it just wasn’t comfortable at all. Tiki bar was awful and rude. They didn’t supply enough toilet paper so we had to go buy some. Fridge leaked water even though it appears to be new. Electrical was outdated and unsafe, I made sure to unplug it all when we weren’t there or asleep so pretty much the whole trip. Again it was a great stay but just things I think should be disclosed

It was a bait and switch scenario. Hotel is actually a very old Ramada, but makes no mention of that anywhere in the listing. Looks like it was last renovated in the eighties. There was an ant infestation in my room and I was harassed by the owner to pay him or I would get locked out of my room. I thought I booked and paid through Expedia, but was told I had to pay a 3rd party. This was not made clear at booking nor when I checked in and handed my credit card to the clerk at the desk at check-in. I only stayed 1 night but spent about 3 hours of that time getting passed back and forth between Expedia, Vrbo, and the owner. So much for spending time with my son at college. I would consider it a 1 star hotel, perhaps 2 stars if the room was not crawling with ants. We had to stuff a washcloth in the hole by the sink, to slow them down.

Nice, just confusing when booking because the property is listed at the Ramada, but was also listed on VRBO, and confusion as to whether it was privately owned or part of the hotel?

We had a wonderful time at this location. If you like boats, marina waterfront and Tiki Bars, this is a great place for you. If you have a boat, easy access to the Sarasota Bay. Tarpon Bay Bar and Grill has good food, drinks and live music. Dock Master and on site contact Todd was very helpful. Gave us good information about boating on the Bay and travels by land. Would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the marina! We went to the Tarpon Tiki Bar three times during our stay and we highly recommend! Food was great and everyone was very nice! They have live music, which does get a bit loud at night but my boyfriend and I slept right through it. If you’re a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. We also went to Crager’s for breakfast which was fantastic! We mentioned the Ramada and got the 10% discount. Overall, my boyfriend and I loved this room and would definitely stay again!
