We loved the cabin!

We really enjoyed staying at Laura's cabin. Plenty of space for our group of 5 and 2 dogs. It was great to learn the yard was fenced and the pictures online didnt do it justice. The river is so close, the back yard is beautiful, the inside is adorable and a great layout! We enjoyed the decor, the wood burning fireplace, and the hot tub. We love to cook meals so this kitchen was perfect and fully stocked with kitchen appliances, cuttlery, and other items. We would love to stay again in the future.

The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The view of the Sandy river from the living room is outstanding and the hot tub is large and delightful. Our group of 6 to 75 years young thoroughly enjoyed the place since it gave us a quick jaunt to skiing at Meadows. We plan on using this place again in the future.

Nice rustic cabin with amenities. Enjoyed being directly on the river and the wood stove. Good communication with the host.

We stayed during the thanksgiving holiday, the kitchen was nice, and well equipped.
Great view of the Sandy river in back, the hot tub was super clean and nice.
Fenced yard was nice for our pup.

What a fantastic spot! Super cozy, beautiful location & everything we needed for kitchen supply use. Lovely stay! Thank you!

House was great and roomier than we thought with an open floor plan and spacious back patio! We walked the dog up the road and met some friendly neighbors. Loved how secluded it was without being too far from town. Looking forward to scheduling our next visit!

Everything was great. Loved the scenery, trees and river.
Upstairs bathroom appeared not to have been cleaned upon arrival.

Loved the location. Enjoyed the beautiful drive wherever we went. This was a great 'home base' for all our adventures. Living room furniture was so comfortable, and hearing the river was wonderful.

This was by far my favorite property we’ve stayed in. Cabin has everything you need and then some. The multilevel deck is set up for everything! Chairs to sit in, chairs to lounge in, hot tub and fire pit area. Unfortunately there was a fire ban during our stay so I guess we’ll just have to come back for the full experience. Property owner was very responsive and clear with details.

My partner, two dogs, and I had a lovely time at Dragonfly Cove. The location was serene and private while still being a short drive to many great trails and amenities. The vintage touches and furnishings inside lent to the place's charm, and the outdoor area was amazing -- especially having a fenced-in yard for the dogs to explore. We try to stay in this area at least once every year and would love to stay here again sometime!

Our Pennsylvania family of 8, ranging in age from 3-63, thoroughly enjoyed our Aug. 16-20 stay at Dragonfly Cove! We used this as a home base to visit relatives in the area and explore Mt. Hood, the Columbia River Gorge, and several wonderful hiking trails within a short drive. Very thankful for the air conditioning, as we arrived during a hot spell. The outdoor patio on the river was stunning, and the indoor area was spacious and comfortable. Beautifully furnished with quilts and antiques. Stairs to the upper rooms were a little steep, but but 3 and 7 year old grandsons had no trouble at all. Both loved sleeping in the woodsy loft under cozy buffalo check blankets, making faces in the Zig Zag mirror coming down the stairs, and counting numerous pictures of Mt. Hood hanging everywhere. The big Weber grill handled dinner for all of us nicely. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Quiet gated community. Very private. The river rapids were mesmerizing. The deck was lovely. The hot tub was big. The cabin was comfortable. There is a grocery store and some small restaurants nearby. If you go here, however, be prepared for multiple contracts, some ridiculous rules, and extra fees. We had to bring our own toilet paper because they only provide a limited amount per stay. Our allotment was 1 spare roll for 5 nights. I would definitely stay here again if it was managed by someone else.

Very pleasant stay. Clean, comfortable and well appointed home, very private with a path to the river. Fantastic secure location with a fully fenced yard for the pups. Very relaxing. Comfy lived-in furniture, the beds are hit and miss. Host is very responsive, directions and instructions were timely and thorough.
Note: this is an older home and the stairs to the main bedrooms / loft are very narrow. Our older dog was unable to navigate safely and needed to remain on the main floor. There is a queen bed downstairs which we found helpful, however older or health-challenged adults may find the stairs as well as parts of the back deck a challenge as we did.
Also note the listing references additional charges separate from what you’ll pay directly to VRBO. The local transient tax is common and unavoidable, and you’ll also be required to pay a separate 4% ‘Merchant Fee” applied to the grand total balance including all taxes. That was a new me for me…

Clean well equipped and close to Portland make this a great place to get back to nature. Nice little trail at end of the road if you dont feel like driving.

I'm grateful for the week spent at this beautiful cabin! The bed was comfortable, and the place was SO well equipped. If I came back for another visit to this area, I would book this place again and not bother searching for anywhere else.

Loved the property and hot tub was a bonus. We loved the sounds of the stream to fall asleep too. It was in the perfect area to explore hiking Mt Hood. If I had to list a few areas that could be improved, I'd say a few usb charging ports would be helpful and the outdoor furniture cushions could be cleaned. But I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary weekend. We loved the river view and sounds while sitting in the hot tub. The home felt cozy like staying at a family cabin.

Took our cat here for some Zippy funtime. Had such a good time that he did not want to leave. It was so quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the river bank watching the baby ducks head down the river. There were so many things in the yard to look at it was hard to keep Zippy inside. Will definately bring him back again.

This property is on a quiet gated road along the Sandy River. It is a lovely, very private, location, with a spacious deck facing the river. There's lots of nice outdoor seating. The cabin is roomy, comfy and has a decent array of kitchen equipment with one exception. There's a handsome coffee machine, but no kettle. Bring your own electric kettle if you are tea drinkers like us. The cabin was charming, clean and there were lots of beds. If you don't like the smell of strongly scented cleaners and detergents do bring your own bedding and towels. The ones provided were nice, but had a very strong perfumed detergent smell and we are an "unscented" family. We saw Douglas squirrels, lots of birds and an adorable goose family with three fluffy little goslings. There's loads of great hikes within a half hour drive if you're a hiker. We did two great ones.

This cabin was perfect for my birthday trip. It was nice and clean. I still can’t get over how beautiful the scenery was. The river was my favorite. So peaceful. It was our first time in Oregon and we were sad to go. We hope to come back one day! Beautiful place.

My husband, our two dogs and I stayed for a few days. The house itself is very cute - everything is comfortable, the kitchen has a lot of the tools you’ll need, and the outdoor area is fabulous. We were so cozy - with the exposed wood interior, it was easy to relax into our get away. The outdoor area is perfect. The yard is fully fenced, the furniture and little areas to hang out are comfy and varied; we felt very immersed in the forest.
We will absolutely return!

This cabin on the Sandy River is a great place to relax and unwind, or as a home base to explore the Mt. Hood area. It's on a gated, gravel road in the woods. The covered hot tub is so relaxing with the sound of the river in the background. We grilled a couple dinners on the propane BBQ and had a comfy fire going in the woodstove each evening. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and cozy.
I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Dragonfly Cove is a cozy cabin in the woods just steps away from the river. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Lots of trails nearby for exploring. Sitting in the hot tub listening to the river was a delight.

Really yummy house, it's a house and yard you take a deep breath and sigh. Awsome overall but two thoughts....really careful going down stairs at night, tread is narrow, carpeted and super slippery. If you plan on BBQing be sure to give a heads up to the owner, we had very little gas....no more complaints this house is a beauty.

We had a great stay. Everything we needed was supplied - even wood for the wood stove. Cabin was nice and clean with tons of space. We will stay there again in the future. Even thought we had no issues at all I know the hosts would have taken care of anything quickly. Thanks for sharing your space with us - we will be back.

Our family had a wonderful time in the cabin. The river sounded so pleasant and the hot tub by the side of the river is unmatched. The place was clean and comfortable and Laura was a wonderful and accommodating host. Highly recommended!! Great for Xmas as she decorated the place to look so inviting

Well-supplied cabin that was gorgeous, well located, and great as a base for skiing/ sledding adventures. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated for Christmas, with a huge kitchen for family meals. It was 7 adults and our 1 nephew, who had a blast even as the only kid!
