My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coverly House! Both Becky and Harriett were quick to reply to all messages and requests and everything was done to make my family's vacation a memorable one!

We had a wonderful two weeks in Barbados. The house was very clean. The pool was a great place to take a swim in when we were exhausted from snorkeling and all of the beaches. A quick tropical storm passed by and the property caretaker Harriet made sure that we were good to go and prepared us just in case. Thankfully all storms for the most part go around Barbados. You may get a quick downpour but it’s over in about 20 minutes. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a huge plus, although the property did get cooled off and the rest of the house by the wind and breezes. The welcome package at the beginning of our stay was wonderful and helpful as we were super tired from flying all day. The location is about 10 to 15 minutes from a lot of major beaches and then about 30 minutes from a lot of the Northwestern beaches. We rented a car so it was no problem at all. And the best part was that it was literally 4-5 minutes from the airport. The closest grocery store is about five minutes away. There’s also a little area five minutes away that has a bunch of different food stands and we ate at the taco place quite often. We are really sad that we had to leave but what an experience it was for our family.

What a wonderful stay at Coverley House! It’s a beautifully maintained property with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of linens, and a good-sized pool to dip in. The owner, Becky, was extremely responsive and helpful, and Harriett, who takes care of the property, was warm and friendly. Absolutely recommend staying here! The open concept flow from the entry to the pool deck made it comfortable without feeling crowded. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and having breakfast on the gazebo all the while experiencing privacy from neighboring houses due to the lush floral and landscaped fencing around the property. The thoughtful welcome pack was a huge plus. A cook/chef can be planned for meals. I do recommend renting a car if you desire to explore the island and if you are a beach goer, though public transportation is not far away. You can plan for car rental from the house. With a car we were able to go to the supermarket, visit places on the island and go to the beach with ease. Both the owner Becky and the property manager Harriet responded to inquiries in a timely fashion. The owner Becky is a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond in preparation of our stay during a time when there are so many uncertainties. Harriet also was very helpful, welcoming and only a phone call away. It was a pleasure!

This was our second visit , and even more impressed this time. As usual , Harriett, the housekeeper , was there to meet us on arrival. Everything you may require is at the property including a welcome food pack, which is ample to carry you over for a day. The villa is located in a cul- de -sac, with the buses being a 5 min walk away. A car is helpful though for getting out and about. Lovely private pool at rear of property, very refreshing a sight seeing. If you have a car, and need shopping , Massys stores are pretty good, although the petrol [gas ] station down the road , stock quite a few things. The owners are very quick to reply to enquiries , and once there , Harriett is only a phone call away, and very knowledgeable with regard to Barbados. Overall, a lovely time spent at Coverley.

Lovely villa with beautiful decor and private pool. Very warm welcome and perfectly equipped for a relaxing and hassle free holiday! Delighted we chose to stay there.

My family and I stayed at the villa for a week vacation in June and absolutely fell in love with the island! Becky (owner) and her team were great host, and the communication, preparation, and maintenance of the villa exceeded expectations. The locals of Barbados are extremely friendly and love doing business with the tourist and are very helpful. Absolutely wonderful property in the middle of a continuing development area right by the airport, the house is located in a great area very close to some of the islands most beautiful beaches. Becky recommendations of things to do and area restaurants were a big help in planning our itinerary. The Oistin fish fry and fish market is an absolute must for visitors! I do recommend securing a rental car for visitors staying 3 or more days. it was a big help for us and made getting around a lot easier. All in all a great trip with a great host and provider. My daughter is already asking when are we going back!

We totally enjoyed every minute of our stay at this place. Harriet the house keeper was so much help to organizing our day trips and her extra touches with the care package she had for us when we first arrived. This place exceeded our expectations, so thanks to Rebecca for allowing us the privilege of using her villa . The pictures of the villa are nice, but seeing it in person is much nicer as they don't do justice to the beautiful property. It was just my wife and me staying there, so it was overly spacious as a 3 bedroom, two bathroom. It's very clean, extremely comfortable, and was fully stocked with household amenities (including an easy to use BBQ) and a nice welcome package. We spent a little time every day at the pool and watching the monkeys play in the trees. The only things we had to deal with were some airport noise (which we solved by having a small speaker playing music), and the odd mosquito. Realizing that those two little issues can't be solved to perfection, they certainly didn't distract us from relaxing and enjoying our stay. We love the south end of Barbados and had our own car, which makes this a perfect place to stay. We can't wait to go back to Coverley House.

Coverly House exceeds all expectations and is certain to meet all your needs. This well appointed spacious three bedroom, two full bath home is inviting from the moment you drive up to the gated property. The view from the street through to the garden surrounded inground pool is near breath taking. The amenities are so plentiful, you need bring only your carefree clothes and casual wear. Everything from beach coolers, toys, towels and ice is provided. Every cabinet and closet is well labelled for easy location of near everything you could possibly need. This is a well maintained home that oozes relaxation and comfort. The frig is thoughtfully supplied with refreshments and food for a day upon arrival and for you to relax immediately. So appreciated. The grocery store can wait as you browse through pamphlets and destination ideas and tours with a drink in hand and toes in the pool. The sunbrella patio furniture in the backyard is complimented by an outdoor covered gazebo and dining area , a barbecue and a back porch that allows you to enjoy the trade winds in this sun filled destination located within minutes of the airport and some 10 to 15 minutes to beaches and restaurants. The backyard also includes a daily glimpse of several monkeys swinging from slightly distant trees. An absolute delight. An important aspect of renting Coverly House is the availability of a very kind and hospitable house keeper and the gentleman who keep the pool clean and yard maintained every other day or so. They were all extremely helpful as were the owners, who maintained contact throughout our stay. A midweek cleaning was great and our chats with those staff were so helpful and always courteous and warm. We would definitely recommend this property to couples and families wanting a safe, relaxing and an amenity filled vacation home. It’s accessibility to transportation, the airport and popular destinations is but minutes away. The guest book is a great reference as well to learn about what and how to enjoy the majestic Barbados starting with Coverly House.

Recently visited the amazing Coverley House in Barbados with a group of 4 girls. We had the most fabulous time. The lovely Harriett was at the house to welcome us and give us the tour. She made sure we were comfortable and could contact her with any questions. This house is beautiful! From the décor, lovely grounds with private pool, games to play, books to read and toys for the pool...we utilized it all. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a generous package consisting of bacon, eggs, milk, juice, butter, bread, beer and rum and coke. So nice to have all this when you arrive so there is no rush to run out and do groceries. It is under 5 minutes walk to catch a bus for only $2.00....what?? Nice opportunity to meet and chat with locals, all of which were so polite and helpful finding us wonderful places to enjoy the Bajan foods and drinks. We went to several gorgeous beaches, rum tour and Jolly Roger pirate cruise-so much fun. Becky is quick and courteous with correspondence and relieved us of any travel worries. She booked our ride from the airport and even texted us the morning we were leaving with a Barbados weather update as well as wishing us a safe and happy trip. Thanks for everything Becky. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are looking to book longer next year:) Highly recommend Coverley House to friends or families looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

We loved our stay in Coverly house. Harriet was there to greet us and was so helpful throughout our stay. She keeps the home spotless and was easily available for any needs we had. The home is close to some of the most beautiful beaches, lots of amazing restaurants! Most within a half hour drive. The home had a well epuipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms with air conditioning, and a beautiful backyard pool and gazebo. We certainly plan on returning in the future.

This is our second visit to Coverley House and we will be returning again next August, We absolutely love this house its very clean and the Decor is lovely, we use the bus service a lot which is at the bottom of the street so very handy. Becky and Andy the owners have great customer service and we have a great relationship with them. This house is everything a person would need to make great memories and relax. Both Rebecca and Harriet took care of us and were prompt to address any questions we had prior and during the trip. Although it is near the airport the noise is not an issue. The AC in the bedrooms was a must during our stay as it was quite hot but having the private pool and being able to watch a family of monkeys in the trees was absolutely amazing. Our favorite beach was Carlisle Bay / Brownes Beach. There is much to do around Barbados but we chose to relax and refresh taking very few road trips. The house is well stocked with so many supplies. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would give one heads up though that groceries are a bit steep and different from those in Canada. We ended up finding a store (Trimart) near Browne's Beach which had a better selection and good prices but would still suggest packing some dry goods from home like chips / crackers. All in all just an amazing time and be sure to check out Oistins on Friday nights.

From the moment we booked , Becky was very helpful in answering any questions we asked, normally answering with an hour, allowing for the time difference. The bungalow is set in a quiet cul de sac , with few neighbours. The two neighbours we did speak to were lovely. 5 minute drive from the airport and 10 minute drive to Oistins shops, but there is a smaller supermarket about 2 minutes drive away. 3 minute drive to the ABC Highway , which will take you anywhere on the island. The housekeeper , Harriett , met us on arrival , and was the most lovely lady you could meet, she kept in contact during our stay , with a phone call , just to make sure that everything was O.K. One small problem with the TV remote was resolved by Harriett within the day. Excellent service. The pool stays in the sun until about 5.00 P.M. but is warm all the time , plenty of shade on those days it was very hot , although being on a hill meant a lovely breeze. We were a bit worried as this was our first time for renting , but after this experience , would most certainly rent again. We cannot think of anything that was not available in the bungalow, it is stocked with everything. Granddaughter, aged 9 , loved the pool toys and books and tried to spend her days in the pool. We had a wonderful time at Coverley House. It was great to go back to Barbados after so much time and really get to relax and not be in a hotel. I am first generation American and my parents were born in Barbados. The location of Coverley House is about 8-10 minutes to Oistins; 15-25 minutes to town; and about 30-45 minutes to other areas of the island depending on what excursions you have planned. The grocery store was about 10 minutes away and the airport is about 5-9 minutes away. If you would like to rent a car there is room for parking, just remember to drive on the left side of the road. My daughter (age 2) loved playing with the toys and doll at the house. It was also really great to have the pool at the house so we could get a swim in in the afternoon.So we got to let her swim every day which I will admit made me feel safer than her getting in the ocean with the tide. Harriett was a dream! She made sure our welcome package was all set and ready for our arrival and the rooms were cleaned to perfection. She checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and we were thankful to have her. We had a wonderful taxi driver, named Desmond who helped us get around town with our group. We were able to take in the excursions and enjoy the Mount Gay Rum Tour, the Atlantis Submarine, and of course Harrison's Cave. Sadly we didn't get to do it all but we will definitely be back soon. Quick tips: - Read the welcome book it had everything you need answers to about the house. - Enjoy Barbados like a Local! - Eat as much as you can and sit out by the pool! - Even when it rains it is beautiful in Barbados and the showers don't last all day! It was good to get home and my family had a wonderful time. My husband and his family went for the first time and he said he will be back really soon. I hope you all enjoy Coverley House as much as my family did and take in all you can on the Island in the Sun.

We rented a van for the week and literally saw the entire island. We went to the tiki bar, JuJu’s, we took a catamaran out of Bridgetown (Moon Dance) although it was a bit pricey it was 100% worth it. We had an adults only cruise with passed apps and a beautiful lunch, swam with the turtles and snorkeled the reef and ship wreck. Another day we drove all the way up the west coast to the animal flower cave and stayed for lunch, then from there we drove down the east coast including bottoms bay and stopped at scenic outlooks for some amazing photos. Another day we went to the shark whole and Crane beach and then back to jujus beach to watch the sunset. our last day we did some shopping at the little touristy houses (i forget the name) and then spent the day by your pool before heading to Oistens for the fish fry. So fun! My brother and sister in law had researched and planned our adventures and were amazing tour guides even though they had never been! Google is a wonderful tool! 😊� I have been to many Caribbean Isalnds and I have to say that Barbados maybe my favorite. The people were so nice, the Island is extremely safe, and the views are perfect! Becky and Hariet at Coverley house where both a dream to work with, we absolutely loved working with them. i highly recommend staying at Coverley!

Our stay at Coverley was amazing. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning. The backyard is nice and private. Plenty of seating, very comfortable. The pool is lovely and clean. The house was spotless and was full of your typical amenities, dishwasher, washer (no dryer – but really not needed in Barbados). Location to public transit (the dollar bus, or public bus) was a block away and brought many tourist locations and restaurants within easy reach. We truly enjoyed the meal prepared by Harriet’s ( housekeeper) daughter, it was tasty and authentic Bajan cuisine – I would however recommend that this meal early be booked in your stay so that you can enjoy the leftovers. There is a charge for the meal, however, no hesitation recommending and booking it ahead. A great vacation! Highly recommend this rental. Stephen & Helen Hamilton, Canada

On the 31/04 we arrived at Coverley House with Harriet waiting for us, this was our second time to the villa and our 9th time to Barbados, it was so satisfying to walk through those doors, the place looked amazing, so clean and homely. Have to say it’s the cleanest and most secured villa I’ve stayed in. The newly furnitures added to the comfort of the villa. We certainly had no complaints at all with our stay, just a few minutes away from the airport and not far at all from the supermarket at Six Roads. Your actually surrounded by local shops, at the end of the road from the villa you come to Pilgrim Rd if you turn right you come to the Service Station and just across the road is Carters Express shop, ideal for any urgent bits needed Our favourite beach was Carlisle Bay a must to visit, we found that after a lovely time at the beach we always came back to the pool at the villa just so relaxing, I will be definitely returning to Coverley, just want to thank Rebecca, Harriet for having such a lovely home away from home simply amazing.

This is our seventh stay at Coverley House and the first since the striking enhancements Becky and Andy have made. Coverley house has always been our first choice when we stay in Barbados and it’s only a short and straight forward journey from the airport whether you are hiring a car or getting a taxi. Once you experience the villa it is truly a home from home. Due to the high demand around the Christmas/New Year period Dec 2017/2018 we couldn’t stay at Coverley and booked another villa, even though it was very spacious and with a beautiful view, Coverley house is on another level. After a busy day around the island or on many of the beautiful beaches you can return to the villa and just relax with seclusion. You can choose to eat inside with a large indoor lounge dinning space with new beautiful furniture or have a bbq and dine under the gazebo which again has new furniture near the pool. The villa is beautifully cleaned and maintained by Harriett who is so welcoming and the pool is regularly serviced. A large well equipped kitchen is on offer if you really want to cook, great for preparing breakfast before heading off to explore the island. New luxurious sunbathing loungers have also been added to the pool area as well as the comfortable furniture in the lounge. Barbados has so much to offer with its great variety of dining options. Tides, Lone Star and Champers are our must visit restaurants each time we stay on the Island. Jammin catamaran cruise is always a fantastic 1/2 day trip up the west coast and to be able to swim with turtles. The daughter of our friends described it as the best day of her life. A visit to the Boatyard entertains kids of all ages with the rope swing, trampolines and Iceberg climbing inflatable in the sea. There has been a lot of thought put into making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, the warmth and attention to detail from Becky and Andy radiates throughout the house. We have brought many friends with us to stay at Coverley House and they have all fallen in love with the house and the Island. We cannot wait to return. Mark and Vanessa.

This is a very beautiful, clean home, with large rooms and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated with what seemed like new furnishings. It's very close to the airport but no bother by the planes, in fact we never saw one. The pool is lovely and we spent most of our time in the gazebo, eating all our meals there and playing dominos and cards. The home is in a very quiet neighbourhood on a dead end street, so traffic is minimal. The yard is very private, completely fenced and hedged. The gardens are lovely. There are no neighbours behind the backyard. We had a rental car and it is a short drive to town and beaches. There are buses that go by frequently but we didn't try them. There is a bar in walking distance. Becky and Harriet are available if any problems should arise or you have any questions. We loved exploring the back roads, basking at the beaches, and sitting poolside at Coverley House.
