Great Stay, Great view, Great access to Beach. Property manager was great. Only down fall was the king size bed springs , which were really noisy. We would still do it again, though.

The cottage is amazing! Had an amazing veiw from the hot tub! The walk down to the ocean is a lil odd. I felt like we were intruding on other peoples vacation. So only went down once but it is just what we needed to recharge our batteries! And out hairless cat loved it as well!! Thank you so very much!

This place is pet-friendly and is just like in the photos. Clean kitchen and bathroom, nice king bed and the best part was that you can just walk a short trail (on property) and be at the ocean! Hot tub was an added bonus!

We only stayed one night and appreciated tge cleanliness and comfort of the residence. The hot tub was a bit of a nice surprise, and the price was pretty reasonable. Communication was a little unclear, but that can be expected when using text via the VRBO app, but overall helpful. I would recommend staying here for a couple on a weekend trip.

Clean and homey, I could live there. Well stocked kitchen. Low tide has tide pools with starfish. Saw some sea lions hanging out on the rocks. Very relaxing. Ken the host is very helpful and friendly.

Ken was very welcoming. The stay was nice and quiet which is what we were looking for, we would definitely stay again.

Nice comfortable, quiet visit to the beach/redwoods with Family.

I have stayed at this property now several times, both in the cottage and the big house. This time we stayed in the cottage as it was just the two of us. The cottage is very homey and well equipped and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was hot. There is a sliver of beach view from the deck but a short walk down to the beach is perfect for rock hunting, walking or just sitting and enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. The beach is rocky( not sandy) if you go to the right but there is a long flat sandy area if you venture to the left. This is an ideal peaceful setting on the coast. We plan to come back again and again.

Second time we've stayed here with pets and it was wonderful.

We loved the location, just south of Brookings. The VRBO was clean, with plenty of room for two. There were detailed instructions on how to work the TV, local places to hike and a book with menu's from the local restaurants (we took advantage of all). The bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in the Brookings area.

Quiet and relaxing with a short walk to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay in the little one bedroom. It was everything we expected. Cozy and clean and had all the comforts of home. The hosts live on the property and are charming and attentive. If you have any concerns or need additional supplies they respond quickly. I would definately recommend this quite little beach house to anyone who is looking for a serene getaway. We will definately book again in the future.

So nice and private (compared to a motel). The owner is on the property but very friendly and leaves you to yourselves. Felt very secure as well. Had a pretty decent view of the ocean that I didn't expect. We'll be back, Lord willing.

Great place, great host, great area!

My partner and I stayed at this location with our three dogs. Ken was so welcoming and we were all incredibly comfortable. The beach was lovey and the entire stay was just perfect. 💛

Ken is a great host and greeted my sister and I shortly after we arrived. We stayed in the one bedroom place. It was really cozy, everything was comfortable, the hot tub was wonderful, and the beach was, well the beach. It was great and we would love to stay there again.

Hosts go out of their way to make the property comfortable and easy to find. We loved all the extra thoughtful touches and all the detailed instructions.

The online description of this place lacks truth & transparency. The owners live on the property and were very gracious. They're always around. This is NOT a private ocean front rental the website leads you to believe. It sits BEHIND the owner's home (the owner's house is ocean front). Your view out the kitchen window is of a large driveway with cars parked in it & numerous people often walking back and forth. Others rent on this property too. I kept the blinds closed. Out on the NOT-SO-PRIVATE-DECK is where you get a "peek-a-boo" view of the ocean through a chain-linked fence across a neighbor's yard. The view is obstructed by a huge overgrown flowering tree that drops petals all over the deck and were tracked into the vacation rental by me and my dogs. I had to sweep these petals inside & outside daily because of the mess they created. There's no privacy on the deck. It is adjacent to the main walkway used regularly by the owners & other renters going in and out of the main home. Each time I was on the deck trying to relax with my dogs, we were disturbed by others. The owner's a/c unit sits near this deck, continually turning on & drowning out any sound of the ocean. The beach you have access to is over-ridden with carcass and junk. Because of all of this, I couldn't enjoy my stay here & left asap. If the website was honest, I would have NEVER booked here. I couldn't get out fast enough, & cut my reserved stay from 26 days down to 5 unfortunately costing me lots of $$$$!

Owner was very accommodating and offered detailed instructions from how to find the cute cottage to how to operate the television. They certainly want you to ensure you enjoy your stay! The hot tub was wonderful and the views were spectacular! The surrounding landscape was beautiful as well!

This was a very nice place to stay. It had everything for a tired traveller; a large selection of dvd's, a full size kitchen with lots of tea and coffee choices, a large, pleasant bathroom and a huge outdoor spa bath that was absolutely lovely. The ocean can be glimpsed from the small backyard patio, but to get the full effect take a very short walk to the beach behind the cottage. Laundry facilities are available in the garage. The cottage also has a gas fireplace that quickly warmed up the cottage.

What a lovely little place! Great view from the living room and hot tub, so relaxing to enjoy the ocean sounds from the home. So glad it is pet friendly and very clean with a nice lawn to walk the dogs. Comfy king size bed and living room furniture. We didn't use the hide-a-bed, we brought an aerobed instead. Nice easy walk to the beach that had spectacular views and tide pools that we felt we had to ourselves every day! Ken and Jean were very friendly and helpful!
