Amazing experience with my family! House was beautiful an massive. Perfect for a full family to enjoy a couple week of complete relaxation

My family and I had the greatest time. Punta Cana was a placed we wanted to visit one day and I am glad we did! The property owner was great answering our questions during the process of coordinating the trip. When we arrived the property manager, Israel and Mirelis made us feel like home, We felt like family. They are the best!! We hope to see you all again !!! It a beautiful home and we felt save in the area Once again thank you!!!

Villa Cueva is a great property around 20 minutes from the airport. The outside area of the house is great with a big terrace and pool. The Cave is incredible and huge. Would recommend for a family stay. Israel and Derson(chef) were amazing and made our stay a great one.

We came with 10 females for girls trip. We enjoyed every moment. The house was beautiful and Israel was so great. He was there to explain and take us every where. We loved the fact of every room had a bathroom but we spent majority of the time at the pool and grilling. Everything you would need was in the house. We would definitely come back. Israel was very patient dealing with us females😄 many explored the cave and said it was nice. All the staff was friendly they gave us coconut 🥥 from the property. We had a wonderful time and felt very secure because of gated property and the grounded security guards.

We hired Israel for the week as our driver. He picked us up and returned us to the airport and took us anywhere we wanted to go throughout the week. We had a group of 10 with the youngest being 12 months old. Heather provided a pack-n-play, high chair and car seats for all four children. It was so nice to not have to worry about bringing them with us. The kids loved the cave. We went down there several times. The backyard is wonderful. So nice and private. Your own little sanctuary. We enjoyed the golf carts for quick runs to the mini-mart or parking by the gate and walking across the street to the mall. We ate at the Italian restaurant at the mall. It was very good. The house is very large and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone. It was overall a wonderful time for our family!!!

Heather and Israel made our trip absolutely outstanding. Israel was always there when we needed him, taking us to restaurants or the casino, he took care of us the whole time. He is a valuable asset for the property. We had a blast and the property was perfect for group. We hope to return one day. Highly recommend staying there!

What an amazing place ! We were very impressed with everything. The biggest treat was the cave; what a cool private adventure right in the back yard, literally !! You find another property like this. Very private, clean, well laid out. The cleaning and pool service workers were very professional and helpful. Heather's an amazing host, very thoughtful and available for any questions or help. You won't regret staying here!

Could not have asked for a better experience. Checking in was easy, Israel was there to help with anything you needed. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Large bathrooms with plenty of towels! The outdoor hang out area was our favorite. We spent 90% of our evenings out there! Booking tours was simple and pick up was a breeze just meeting at the front of the property. We rented a car to get to and from the beach, which if you want to go to the beach often i would suggest having a car. Just a quick 5-10 minute drive down the road! We are already planning the next time we can visit!! Grocery right across the street and a larger one just down the road. I suggest this house to anyone with a large group. Everyone has their own space and is very comfortable. The golf cart was great too for running up to the mart inside the property. Thank you for such a great experience!

The bed rooms were large and very comfy but the jewel of this villa was the outside living space. The large sectional sofa was a great spot for 12 of us to relax in conversation as well as the table in the dining area. The beach lovers hopped on the golf cart and headed to the beach and those of us who loved the pool relaxed on the loungers while we waited for our golfers to walk by while playing the course. Villa Cueva truly offers whatever you need for relaxation, even a large cave under the back yard was a great adventure for young and old. Our food and drinks were only a phone call away and delivered right to our door! All 12 people who stayed with us had a fabulous vacation.... we've had so many more family and friends want to join us next year we will book Villa Alejandra as well. The 5 bedroom right next door will be a perfect private location for a gathering of 20 people! Thank you to Heather and Isreal for sorting out the internet problems, we can't wait to see you in 2019!

We had a great time at this house. We were 15 people needing a place to stay while on vacation. It is very spacious! Plenty of room to enjoy being together and yet plenty of space to have your own area when you want some quiet time. The yard and cave are amazing as well. My next comments are not meant to be negative, but something I would have liked to know before. The jacuzzi isn’t hot. It doesn’t ever get hot. It is a small bubbling circle pool that is cold. That is fine, but when you get excited about having a place to relax at night and it isn’t, it would have been nice to know that before. Also, the hot water take a long time to get anywhere in the house. It does eventually come. Just be patient. Also when a house is listed to accommodate 15 people, there should be towels enough for each person to have there own bath towel and not have to use the towel they used to dry off after swimming in the pool. Make sure you get an ID to allow you into the gated community and that they have your ID’s waiting for you. This was the biggest headache of our trip. Although we sent info ahead of time we didn’t have them for 3 days which made for fights every time we came and left the community. Lastly... just a reminder that you are responsible for the electricity you use. I knew this in advnace, but if you didn’t it could be a surprise! Since you will want to run the A/C and do wash while you are there. It can add up quickly. Even though we had some issues contacting Isreal (the house help) when his phone was working, he was good to respond. Like I said earlier. These comments aren’t meant to be negative or keep anyone from staying here. They are just informative and I hope they make the next persons stay more enjoyable and more informed that I was. I recommend this house to any large group looking to enjoy family time in a safe environment.

Just got home from our stay at this beautiful well maintained home. The property manager, Israel, was terrific. He was prompt in picking us up at the airport and accommodating throughout the entire stay. The pool at the property was crystal clear and cleaned everyday. The grounds were gorgeous and also maintained daily. There were some minor issues in the house that were addressed by Israel immediately. A nice touch was toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, soap and laundry detergent was provided in the rental which is something I have not found in my previous rentals of other properties. The owner, Heather, was also very responsive and helpful when booking the property and answering all my questions before we arrived. There is a nice supermarket across from the development to get all the groceries you need. On a five night stay we only went out for dinner one night and enjoyed the rest of the evenings grilling and/or cooking and enjoying the relaxing backyard dinning. The one negative was the safe was still in a box and not attached to the wall so it was not useable. However, we felt safe on the property throughout our entire stay. I highly recommend this property for family gatherings.

Let me start by saying that THE Dominican Republic is an outstanding vacation spot and Villa Cueva is a great property. My group really enjoyed the house and grounds. We felt very secure with armed guards stationed all around the resort. The pool, jacuzzi and veranda were top notch and made for many relaxing evenings. The villa is located very near a small shopping center with a large supermarket. It is not very close to the nicest beaches (Pearl, Macao, Playa Blanco). Speaking of beaches, Pearl Beach is an outstanding beach club ... you have to check it out; Macao is the spot to get fresh fish right off the boat; Playa Blanco is a small scale Pearl Beach. The Hard Rock Casino is another venue worth a visit whether or not you are a gambler. As great as the weather and villa are, the thing that made our stay was the people. We hired a chef for our stay to prepare breakfast and dinner daily. Little did I know how lucky we were to meet Eric Greenawalt. Eric and his friend Julia made our vacation. He is a great chef, but he was also our personal shopper, bartender (he humbly denies he is a professional mixologist), information center and recreation guide. Coming in a close second was the villa manager, Israel Morel. Israel was there for everything to TV and WIFI outages to getting us to anyplace we wanted to go. We got to spend time with him , his family and friends and were readily accepted by all. By the time we left, everyone felt like they were saying goodbye to old friends. The only negatives for the entire process were mainly before our arrival. Two weeks before our departure, the owner informed us that she was looking for a new villa manager (don't know what happened to the one with glowing reviews). This left us without a chef and more importantly, the owner said she could not honor the prices she said the previous villa manager quoted. Frankly, I question who quoted he prices because the only person I talked to on the Homeaway site was the owner. Anyway, eric stepped in dropped his prices and the rest is stated above. No villa manager to correspond with also left us vying fore ourselves upon arrival. Getting to the villa was not an easy task. Like I said, all in all we had a great time and we would highly recommend Villa Cueva, Eric and Israel. Just make sure you get a complete, written understanding with the owner before you book.

I loved the house and pool area! The backyard was exactly what we were looking for! The few issues I had were the house could have been cleaner and the service could of been better! We had to call and request things like towels everyday! We did enjoy ourselves but I wanted to share our disappointments for your future clients!

Beginning to end smooth transition! The staff at the house are very helpful and proactive. The house has an old Spanish feel to it, its in such a great area! Food, beach, golf, you name it, its there! Such an amazing time!!!

The villa was exactly as stated, beds were really comfortable, house was clean. No complaints at all as far as the villa goes. Alfonso (the butler) OMG......Not only is he the butler, but he is the EVERYTHING. He is absolutely wonderful. I had read on a previous review about mosquitoes and I will tell you, yes they are there but Cocotal sprays the community 3 times a week ( I saw 2 of the 3) plus my Alfonso to the rescue with spray when he noticed some were around. I never purchased one product for bugs. As stated in the paperwork about the electricity being expensive so you pay for additional consumption (which is normal in these villas) the problem with that is as a tourist you have no way of actually knowing how much is charged per kilowatt or however it's done. Upon check in a pic is taken of the meter and retaken upon check out, but again how do you know what the fees are??? Don't get me wrong, I rented knowing about this, but was extremely surprised when I needed to pay an additional $142.40 (US Dollars) once they discounted the $100.00 (US Dollar) credit I had. We were out of the villa most of the days (4 days) making sure all bedroom a/c's were off, cooked 2 times in the villa either BBQ by the pool or we were out the rest of the meals. But all in all we would definitely return this villa.
