Appartement récemment rénové avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan au Pelican Grand Beach Resort, un luxueux condo-hôtel de charme. Avec le charme de l'ancienne grandeur de la Floride, notre suite surplombe l'océan Atlantique avec une vue fantastique sur l'océan et le littoral. Il y a une piscine à entrée nulle (pas de marches), idéale pour les enfants ou les personnes âgées, la seule promenade de Lazy River à Fort Lauderdale avec chambres à air et accès direct à une plage de 500 pieds de plage semi-privée. Sortez de la véranda et mettez vos orteils dans le sable! Nous proposons gratuitement des serviettes de piscine, des chaises longues et des parasols à la plage, ainsi qu'un service de chambre et un bar et une grille au bord de la piscine. Lovely idea of beach front complex. Building tired with broken elevators, heater broken on pool then broken on lazy river. Ran out of hot water in shower with head full of shampoo. Only out ten minutes but those were feeezing ten minutes for me. Just poor timing for me. Unit floors, baseboard, bathroom grout, area rugs all filthy. Must wear foot covering at all times. Was vacuumed but surfaces need steam clean.

Great view of the ocean. Our room drapes were dirty and the walls were dirty. Cabinets and bathroom walls all had toothpaste and dirt on them

We had stayed at Pelican Grand 2 years ago and loved it. We were planning a return and found this great unit that was identical to the unit we had stayed in last time but at a significantly lower cost than booking through the hotel. The only difference was no daily maid service which we didn’t need. All other amenities were identical at a significant savings. Our only suggestion would be to freshen up the carpeting. We would definitely stay there again!

The loacation was fantastic, facilities such as lazy river were enjoyed by my children. However the following things require attention.
1. The description does not match with the actual property. For example there is no dinning area, just a small table for two people. The space is really small for six prople.
2. Update and broken things: Except shower everything needs update. New paint, better HVAC and electricals. Hand shower leaks some water. Problems with toilet flush. Blinds are not working, we could not get effective room darkening.
3. Technology: Updates on technology side, no USB ports or multi charge outlets.
4. Kitchenette: very limited, at least some silverware and plates would have been helpful. Microwave could need upgrade too.

The contac with Larry was very good. Super helpful and very quick responses to any questions we had. Absolutely lovely location. I personally found that the photos don't do it justice.

We had a fabulous time. The room over looked the ocean. Beautiful sun rises in the mornings. The room was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of towels pillows bedding TV toiletries. Two queen beds were very comfortable. The Staff at the Pelican Grand was friendly and accommodating. We got some great restaurant suggestions from Rick at the pool. The food at the Pelican was excellent. The hotel is a cashless hotel. We charged everything to our credit card on file. They do add on 22% tip automatically but we didn't mind. The process was easy and accurate. The pool and lazy river were a little small. The pool and the beach had plenty of towels chairs and umbrellas. We booked the only VRBO out of the 5 couples and got the best deal. We had full accommodations the same as the rest of the group who booked directly with the hotel or bundle a package through expedia. Larry the owner was able to let us check in early. He got back to us right away. We would definitely go back.

This property is exactly as described and was clean, comfortable, and has absolutely gorgeous views overlooking the beach in the Atlantic ocean. The pool and lazy river and all of the hotel was immaculately maintained with top notch, quality staff, willing to help with anything that is needed. Lazy river was smaller than I expected from the pictures but wasn’t crowded and was relaxing. As advertised, there is only valet parking and it was $50. We encourage everyone staying here to remember to bring cash to tip the valet, bellboys, etc.

The condo has everything it pictured, but I feel it needs a good cleaning. It was beautiful the view of the ocean every day. The property itself was amazing a very upscale property and condo. Rick at the pool and all the staff was very helpful and accommodating. A little pricey if you park a car. We loved our week there.

This is a great stay. You are right on the water, only steps away. Beach is beautiful. View is gorgeous. While the chairs outside are wicker and breaking in places, it didn’t impact my enjoyment of the view and the balcony. Favorite parts:
- having a chair and umbrella available to us
-fresh beach and pool towels
- quiet in the apartment, hardly heard anyone.
-we door dashed food to keep cost down and that was easy, several good places nearby
Larry was nice and accommodating.

We had a great time staying at the Pelican. Very spacious and there were 5 of us. Would definitely stay again! Right on the beach, beautiful view, and valet was wonderful and friendly. My only issue is that our room was not ready at 4pm for check in. The room was not ready until 4:30.

We loved our stay. The beach access and chair/umbrella set up was amazing and we spent almost 10 hours out there each day! The mini fridge and kurig were perfect for us. We had a few groceries delivered and it was a great set up. Oceanfront patio is a must now for every beach vacation. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the public areas were all very clean. The room could have been a bit cleaner, there was makeup and toothpaste smears on the walls and the bed skirts were definitely due for a wash/bleaching. It would have also been nice to have a broom and dust pan for cleaning up the sand that inevitably sticks to your feet/legs even after washing off at the rinse station on the beach. Would definitely stay again.

We were unsure of what to expect but this resort was perfect. The staff was beyond helpful and we had private beach and pool chairs every day. They had beach toys available for the kids and the lazy river was so much fun. The view from the room was flawless and it was extremely family friendly.
The grounds were clean and walking along the beach and seeing all of the turtle nests marked off was so much fun.
Definitely a great place to stay.

I just love this location! And having it be a VRBO it was less money than the comparable room at the resort . The staff at the resort are amazing and they really helped with any requests we had.
My only complaint is the balcony chairs are in need of repair. The fabric is ripped and they’re rusty . It didn’t affect my trip but just wanted to point that out.
I will be back! Loved this place!

The room was purchased through VRBO. The only problem I had with the room: sliding door was off track so we couldn’t close bathroom door, chairs on the porch are both broke, the wicker, and torn cushions. The wicker kept scratching when you sat in them so we’re very uncomfortable and rusted

My family and I had the most amazing long weekend at Larry’s condo. This review is late but I wanted to leave a review still as we still talk about this mini vacation. Larry’s condo is beautiful, clean, and has an ideal location. J stayed with my husband and two small children ages 1.5 and 4. The resort had everything we needed and more. We stayed on property the entire stay and never felt bored. It was the perfect mix of activity and relaxation. The view is unbeatable! Thank you so much for having us!

Beautiful view of the ocean!! It was wonderful sitting outside on the balcony watching the sun come up. The beds were really comfortable. The way the room is set up, one person can be watching TV and the other can sleep without being bothered by sound or light. This unit is on the 7th floor located right by the elevators. No need to worry, there was not a problem with sound. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the lazy river. The water was just the right temperature! All of the employees we encountered were very friendly. We enjoyed walking around and if an area was too far, there is a shuttle called Why Walk Shuttle that will take you for tips only, to certain areas. We were very pleased with their service. While you are here, be sure to get on the Water Taxi. There are beautiful views of the water and homes and it will take you to different fun stops. I have to say, we were very fortunate to be able to stay here in this unit, especially for the price, when compared to nearby rentals/rooms.

My daughter and I changed our Thanksgiving tradition with the extended family and came here. Absolutely beautiful! We couldn’t get enough of the view ( from everywhere at the resort you can see the ocean:)). We hadn’t been on vacation for 7 years-this was perfect! Larry is a great host!!

Shocked! Was the first thought my family and I had when we walked into this unit. It was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and comfy. The view is breathtaking. This unit has everything you may need. The keurig was a life saver. The microwave was great for quick snacks and the fridge was cold. The beds are comfy and plenty of pillows. We felt like luxury while staying here. This unit isn’t a 10 out of 10, it’s a 20 out of 10! Definitely will return!!!

We've stayed at the Pelican Grand before, but never through vrbo. The process was so easy. Larry's communication was great as are his rates. PG is a great resort with impeccable hospitality. Great family vacation spot!

This was our first family vacation and we loved every minute of it. This place more than delivered and we are already planning our next vacation here. The only and I mean the only thing that needs an upgrade are the beds. Other than that Larry was quick to respond to all of my messages and like I said this place was truly a vacation.
