This house was in an ideal location for all our hiking trips (Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon North Rim, Kodachrome and some local Kanab hiking). It was clean, tidy, had everything we needed to feel like we were at home. Joan was a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend booking this house.

Mom’s place was very clean. Owner gave contact info which we never needed because she had already thought of everything we might need. Property is within two hours of Zion and Bryce Canyon National parks. She had spices, coffee, flour and sugar. Quiet neighborhood. It was our first experience with Vrbo. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Everything about the house was 100% wonderful. Sparkling. Immaculate. Relaxing.

The host has thought of everything & more that you would need. A lovely home inside & out. Beds & pillows were extremely comfortable. A very manicured yard with a nice front porch to sit & have drinks or a meal. The house is stocked with anything you could think of. There are an amazing amount of brochures to look through to make your vacation complete. Also, many very interesting books about the area. Definitely don’t hesitate to book this property. It’s a quick 5 minute drive to town. A very quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful home with great master suite/bath/sitting room. Fully equipped, clean and cozy. This isn't like staying in a model home, but more like being a guest in a well-cared for home. Joan was a great host!

This was an absolutely beautiful home - so beautifully decorated. The owners are very kind and made certain we had all that we needed for our stay. It was so comfortable, and we felt at home. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

My sister and I had a lovely stay in Kanab at Mom's place. The property is just as described. There is a full kitchen with everything provided, a full washer & dryer with a few soap options provided, 2 full baths with body soap, shampoo, nice thick towels, etc. provided. The beds were very comfortable and there are nice places to sit on both the front porch and back patio. There is a TV in the sitting room off the main bedroom with access to streaming. There are even coolers available to use which my sister and I greatly appreciated since we intended to pack lunches a couple of the days. Also Joan lives just behind the property and was very welcoming and lovely to speak to. She was great at offering suggestions of places to go see while we were in Kanab. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely stay at Mom's place the next time we are in Kanab.

This home is very nice. Very clean inside and out. And the price is very reasonable. Everything you need is provided. The Master bedroom Bed is very comfortable. Joan is a Great host. I will definitely look for this property when I head to Kanab Again. Utah never disappoints.

The pitchers for this house does not do it justice. The house has a really nice layout, was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Joan has supplied the house with anything you might forget. We will definitely plan to stay here again on a trip West.

You won’t be disappointed in your stay with these amazing accommodations. Clean…spotlessly clean, from the bathrooms to the living areas to the kitchen/refrigerator. And such a homey, comfortable feel in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you could possibly need for your stay in beautiful Kanab. And the property owners are next door, so we felt safe and knew if we had questions, they were close by. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Especially loved not having a long list of requirements when leaving that I’ve seen with other properties. Book this wonderful home-away-from-home…you’ll love it!

Mom's place was exactly as described. The house was clean and completely well furnished. Everything we needed was already there. The bed was comfortable And the towels were super soft. Joan was a pleasure to work with. We may come and visit again.

This is a terrific home - everything you could want and more! Convenient to Kanab commercial district and very central whether going to Zion, Bryce, Pace or other destinations. Joan was very easy to work with.

We enjoyed everything about this home. We were able to take day trips to Bryce, Zion and Antelope Canyons. We returned to our home base that had very comfortable beds and more room than we expected throughout. The kitchen was well stocked. The laundry room was spacious and clean. The scenery was beautiful right out the door. Stargazing a night was a treat too.

This was by far the best home rental we have experienced. It was like being at home without any of the work. Everything we needed was provided and there were no expectations to do laundry, empty trash, run the dishwasher etc. Joan is a host that cares about her guests and there experience.

Joan's property, which she calls Mom's Place, is a slice of heaven--spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming, unbelievably well stocked, super comfy beds, spacious, lovely quiet neighborhood at the edge of town with big sky and room to breathe, great access to everything southern Utah and northern Arizona have to offer, pure joy to come home to at the end of a day of hiking. The 2 bedrooms, each with a nice bathroom en suite or next door, had lots of storage and were at opposite ends of the home, so 2 couples could very comfortably stay at Mom's Place and have all the privacy they'd want. The laundry room and kitchen had everything we needed and much more. Joan even had brochures and books about the area's attractions, as well as a wide-ranging library of good reading. She truly had thought of every little detail that might make her guests happy. The furnishings and loving touches reminded us of visiting Grandma and finding she had cleaned and prepared for our visit for months. We will definitely be back!

This house, "Mom's Place" is just what it says. You will find remembrances of "Mom" throughout the house, from the decor to many of the pictures of "Mom" in her younger days. It feels like "Mom" or someone lived here recently as it is very clean and extremely well stocked with everything you could want or need. We appreciated that coffee, basic spices, as well as shampoo and lotion were provided. The neighborhood is very quiet and quaint, which makes this rental house seem a bit out of place. That being said, we were very comfortable and enjoyed coming back to this house after a long day of hiking.

We were very pleasantly surprised (thrilled) with this home. There was plenty of room and all comforts had been supplied. The home was well stocked and sightseeing brochures were plentiful. Even included were books to read and games to play. The home was centrally located and we were extremely comfortable.

The place is close to best friends animal sanctuary. It is very clean and is close to everything restaurants and very quiet.

Joan and Al were perfect hosts. The house had everything you could possibly need. We did not miss anything. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the front porch and lunch on the back patio. Joan gave us great recommendations for activities in the area that we reallý enjoyed. If we get the chance to return to Kanab we will definitely stay here.

Three adults stayed in this absolutely wonderful home for 8 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. We chose the Kanab area to be close to Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, and Grand Staircase area - we wanted to focus on our adventure without checking in and out of places. This location and house were perfect. Home is very clean and kitchen has everything you need and more. Owner is very responsive with any questions you may have. It truly was a perfect home for us to relax in after a day out exploring. Close to a lot of nice restaurants as well as grocery stores close by. We would highly recommend this home and would love to return.
