We had an awesome time. Enjoyed the cabin and we will be back. Close enough to get anywhere we wanted to go in Helen but far enough away for peacefulness.

What a wonderful cabin! Everything about our stay was perfect. The cabin is very well stocked, exceptionally clean, and very cozy. It’s just far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough to get right into town for some fun. My favorite part was watching the deer off the porch in the morning! The host was great with excellent communication. We will absolutely be back to this cozy cabin! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin!

I took my mom and 3 of my Aunts on this little mini vacay and this place was perfect! We enjoyed the beautiful spacious cabin where we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub that worked perfectly and was clean! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking! We also enjoyed a fire in the fire place however you will need to bring your own bundle of wood along with some kinlin to start it with.

My wife and I bring our children to Helen every year for a Christmas trip. This cabin far exceeds anything we’ve stayed in. The cabin was incredibly clean, it had everything we needed to be comfortable and to even cook a full course meal for our children. The added touches of the Christmas decorations made our trip even more special. The property was beautiful. This cabin is in pristine condition. A few days before our trip, we asked the owner if we could bring our two nieces along. They were very accommodating and even had extra pull out beds so everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We hope to make this cabin an addition to our annual Christmas trip for our family. It truly felt like home!

Great place! We completely enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family. Fireplace and hot tub were bonuses for a cold week. Secluded just enough but still close to things. Great communication by the host. Will be back!

Perfect place to get away from the daily grind. Located near so many State parks. My family and I hiked everyday and relaxed in the hot tub at night. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a true cabin in the woods. It was very private and secluded but very close to Helen and other attractions. Very clean pleasantly decorated with a true cabin feel. Hot tub was a nice feature. Would definitely recommend

The cabin was great and comfortable for our family. The kitchen had everything that you need to make great meals. We were impressed with knifes being sharp.
The hot tub got used to help with relaxation after biking and hiking in he area. We were able to enjoy the screen porch to play board games and to eat dinner.
We will be back!

We had a wonderful time except we could not go outside the screened in porch. It was very slimy and slippery. My daughter tried to go out but it was all she could do to keep from sliding. Everything else was great.

It’s such an amazing place to be, especially with kids! The location is very close to town with lots of things to do and see, while also being set back and secluded enough to really feel like a retreat from the world!
The cabin was clean and cozy and having a full kitchen during vacation was so nice! The kids absolutely loved the hot tub and we enjoyed sitting in it and watch in the sunrise over the trees.
Definitely will be coming back to such a perfectly quaint little piece of paradise.

This is a great family mountain getaway. Fair enough out of town to be peaceful but close enough to Helen and elsewhere to be convenient. The cabin was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and well kept. The hot tub was very nice and soothing to relax in after a long day. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs and and the rocking chairs out front. We stayed in June and had a good time catching lightning bugs also. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable family retreat.

Loved the cabin, area and everything in between. Cabin was super clean, had a full kitchen and the hot tub was a perfect relaxation at the end of the day. Beds were super comfy and the space was excellent for our family of five. Beautiful location and while very isolated it was close enough to civilization that we visited Helen, Toccoa and a number of stops in between. One of my favorite cabins and I’ve stayed in ones in California, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah and Illinois. Thank you for a great start to our Smoky Mountain trip.

It was close to Helen. It was quiet, sort of secluded and fairly easy access. The cabin was really nice. the tv controls were very aggravating to use. We could have used more towels and bath cloths. Overall it was a relaxing and very enjoyable stay

My family came up to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday and we had a blast. The cabin was super nice and clean! If and when I had any questions Steve would get right back to me! This place is a must stay and I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing week at the Oakridge cabin! The cabin is well maintained and the hot tub is wonderful! We were able to spend so much time exploring the area as well as playing games in the cabin. We loved having the fireplace and would have fires every night since it was chilly enough to enjoy them. The surroundings are quiet but close enough to hiking trails, downtown, and other activities. Steve was very responsive and provided the door code the day before. It would definitely be a place we want to visit again!

The property description is spot on. It does fail to describe how calming and relaxing the cabin is. We have 3 children who are in sports and other after school activities so we are always on the go. This was our spring break and we could have not made a better choice. Being able to sit outside comfortably and enjoy nature and also sit in the hot tub is so peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The property was perfect for my two adult sons and I. It was the perfect size for the three of us. The location was perfectly situated between the two rivers we had planned to fish (Chattahoochee and the Soque). All the utensils were available. Steve, the host, even provided fire wood for the fireplace along with fire starters. We have already started planning next year’s trip! Thanks Steve…great place.

We had such a nice trip! My daughter's saw snow for their first time ever, and my son had a blast at the North Ga Wildlife Zoo! My fiance and I loved hiking the DeSoto Falls nature trails. The cabin was very pretty and well maintained. Thanks for the fun time!!

Overall, our experience was pleasant. We enjoyed the comfort of the cabin and the privacy of being in the woods. It was the perfect family getaway. We also saw a couple does by the cabin and it was beautiful. The hosts recommended outstanding places to visit in Helen and we went to each one! Overall, this is a great cabin and location!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was wonderful, clean, and perfect size for our family. Also very close to some shops and Helen but kids especially enjoyed having our own hot tube which we used every night. I will consider using it again and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for the hospitality
