The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had all of the utensils needed to cook our meals. We have learned to come prepared for MS cabin trips with everything that we will want to eat and drink, and I would recommend the same here as it is remote. It was unbelievably hot (just the time of year), but, man, that pool was a game changer and where we spent most of our time! Would totally stay again.

Our family of 5 visited the Tinmann Retreat for a short weekend getaway. The property is absolutely beautiful. Our host was warm and welcoming just like the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will visit again in the future.

I was in the need for a quick little getaway with some peace, quietness, and tranquility. The Tinmann Retreat is the perfect combination of these three elements. The house was clean, warm and inviting as soon as you walked in. Just sitting out on the back porch and listening to the babble of the creek and the wind blowing through the trees was an instant relief of the stress and anxiety of life. The host were extremely friendly. You can really tell that the host wanted to allow their guest the luxury of being able to slip away from the every day chaos and stress of life and to be able to just relax and absorb the tranquility of their place! The only regret that I have is that I did not stay longer. But I will be back. Thank you Ken and Beth!

Ken and Beth have two of the biggest hearts in Roxie.
The quiet and stillness of this beautiful cabin allowed me to reconnect with nature and with my inner child.
Not once did I feel like a renter around these amazing people, I felt like a long lost friend that was welcomed with love.

It was an amazingly peaceful property and very secluded. The property management were incredibly hospitable and I loved every minute we were there. The place was clean and the pool was amazing to relax in with my wife on the hot summer days.

Great stopping point
We are driving to destin and this was the perfect resting spot; quiet, secluded, and comfy-with things to do on site! Great spot if you have a group with littles. Thanks Ken and Beth!

They have a pool, swing set, fire pit, creek and lots of adventure for the kiddos! They even have kid friendly dvds to watch on the big screen tv at night time when the kids are settling down for bed. The owners are very friendly and helpful! Great place in the middle of No where
We were greeted by Ken when we arrived. He showed us where everything was and told us all about the place. If you’re looking for something away from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. We saw one car come down the road the whole time we were there for five days. It worked out great for us with our Labrador retrievers.

The cabin and property are amazing. Beautiful land with a creek running through it. Just what you would picture for a cottage with everything you need nestled in the woods. Host greeted us not long after arrival and was friendly.

This is exactly the house I dreamed of!
We spent 9 wonderful days in this cozy house in the forest. The house has everything you need for relaxation. During the day we walked through the woods, in the evenings we sat by the fireplace, in the morning we drank coffee on the terrace and admired the birds and jumping squirrels. We would like to return to this house many times.

All of the rooms were very clean, well kept, and stocked with all the essentials you need.

Quiet retreat close to Baton Rouge
We enjoyed the campfires and serene woods. Appreciated the Orange safety vests left out for us as it was hunting season in the surrounding areas. Very nice handcrafted home to stay in for a long weekend.

This is TRULY a hidden gem! The Andermann's are "salt of the earth" people - real, honest, down-to-earth, sincere. I read over 40 reviews before booking - one theme repeated over & over - the pictures don't do the property justice. If I could give 10 stars for the location & neighborhood, I would! A wonderful home, in beautiful surroundings, with plenty of walks available. We took all the provisions we needed for the 3 days & 4 nights we were away and were SO glad - what a joy to forget the world is turning, be so comfortable and find such a peaceful place! You will NOT regret staying at Tinmann!!

I took my 3 small children there this past weekend. It was beautiful! The area was perfect. No cellphone service, but i didn't need it, and there was wifi. Mr K came over to check on us. He and Ms B were very nice. My dog even had a great time. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.
