This was our second stay in this jewel of an apt. The location cannot be beat, the beds are so comfortable, the shower has great water pressure. Tess and John are fabulous to work with!

Walking distance from nice restaurants and stores. I loved the decoration of the place and the view of the street .

Perfect amenities and located right in the heart of downtown Petosky

We parked the car at check-in and didn't need it again for several days. There are so many adventures within walking distance! We rented bikes and rode to Harbor Springs for lunch, enjoyed Kilwins for ice cream, hiked the Bear Wilderness Rec area, did a scavenger hunt in downtown Petoskey, went shopping and checked out the lakefront park. Great for families due to the easy access to so many options. Great communications with the hosts as well!

Ok Not for people with any mobility issues. Parking and rear entrance is a challenge. No Lighting at rear entry door and it doesn’t have the property address. Lockbox was the only marker… Apartment is in a good location in the shopping district. Kitchen is clean and well appointed. Bedrooms and bathroom are spacious. Overall, nice location. Apartment has potential.

My friends and I were so impressed with everything this apartment had to offer. You could not get a better location! Central air, comfy beds, clean towels, extra pillows, spacious kitchen and living room. (Bigger than the pictures I thought) The check in was a key pad so very easy. Things to note… bring your own shampoo and conditioner (obviously) and we didn’t cook so I didn’t check for pots and pans but they had oil and seasonings so I’m sure the kitchen was fully stocked. I couldn’t recommend this place more! We had a fantastic time! Thank you to the hosts!

A few blocks from the Little Traverse Wheelway for bicycle enthusiasts like us. The owners were very responsive; we even got to meet them during our stay, a lovely couple. Would definitely stay here again and bring the rest of the family! Looking forward to their second apartment getting completed next door so we can rent them both in a year or two! :)

My mom and I stayed here for a short getaway. The apartment is in the perfect location. We walked to dinner and ice cream each night and shopped during the day. Drove out to some beaches and wineries also. The apartment was clean, beds were comfortable. We barely used the kitchen but it looked well stocked. All in all, a great spot for the two of us to have some quality bonding time!

We, two couples, were in Petoskey for a family wedding and the Lake Street Gem was absolutely perfect. It was exactly as described online. The unit is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for quick meals. The unit had some extras that I really appreciated, and are frequently missing in VRBOs: the lighting was excellent, the beds had night stands, and there were even plenty of quality hangars in the closets. The internet was strong and reliable. The location is the best. We walked to the park, all the shops, and several restaurants. There was also a covered space to leave our bikes. Our stay was above expectation and we hope to stay again in the future.
