My family and I had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for the whole family. Very easy to get on the beach. My biggest regret is that we forgot to eat supper on the porch, it has a lovely view.

We had a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the cottage . The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked several fresh seafood meals. It had everything we could possibly need. Great deck out back and amazing location. We loved how easy it was to go back and forth to the beach . Thank you for all the beach chairs ! It was a perfect week.

Loved it!!!!!!! Location is amazing!! Being right across from the beach and beach access was so nice!! The house itself was very clean and comfortable! It’s a great Folly Beach house!! The house doesn’t have central air, but does have units in every room. We were there during an insanely hot week and the AC units worked well! We had one little issue and the host was very quick to respond and got it fixed right away! It was a setting mistake on our part and she was able to fix it for us easily! The deck was really nice to sit out on at night once the sun was down and our kids were asleep :) one thing to note is that second shower is in the garage(ish) space that does not have AC and so it gets insanely hot in there, so middle of the summer it was like a sauna. We ended up not using this shower, but there is a hose outside and worked perfect for rinsing off and showering the kids!! We had no issues with having the one indoor shower (and there are 2 toilets!) The house is a wonderful, classic Folly beach house! We love the feel of the house and really enjoyed our time!! We would (and prob will!!) defiantly rent again!!! If you are looking for a classic house, this is an amazing find!!

Stayed end of July/first of August. Location is great. Very close to the beach and an easy drive to Charleston. Clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Feels like home. I highly recommend.

Perfect location, yard, and house. Loved being so close to the beach with lots of space for bikes, SUPs, surf boards, and all the outdoor games you can think of. Great for a family with teens and a dog. We loved our stay and plan to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Folly Beach-even with the rainy days! My dachund loved the ocean. The access across from the house has steps but you can walk up to ninth street and access with no steps-much better for short legged dogs! The house was well equipped with supplies. The first night was "hot" because we could not figure out how to use the thermostat. We figured it out and the house was cool the rest of the week. Looking forward to next year! Thanks!

It was a SUPER short walk to the beach, and it was a very cozy house to stay in. There was a nice deck outside to sit and eat outside as well. It was clean and well kept, we had a great stay.

Such a cozy cottage, we loved our time here. So many toys and the bikes were great to cruise down to the restaurants and shops. The yard and deck are amazing if you have a dog as well!

We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again sometime. The location to the beach is amazing with just a short walk across the street and you get specific designated parking which is so helpful since it is in such a busy area. We stayed for a long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. Trips back and fourth were so easy especially with all of the chairs and beach accessories that were available to us. The fenced in yard was so nice for our dogs and the patio was awesome to hang out on during the day and night. Overall, the house is truly a great place to stay. If you’re looking for everything to be brand new, this isn’t for you but it is such a warm and loving home that has everything you need to visit and call your own for a short time!

This is the perfect house for a beach stay. It was our family’s first vacation (2 year old and 4 year old) and we loved Folly Beach and especially this property. Very close to the beach, a very easy walk for the kids. House had everything you need including things for the beach. Highly recommend!

This was our first time to Folly Beach, and loved staying in this quaint cottage! It truly had everything we needed, and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. Having a golf cart made getting to and from town frequently, so much easier! The fence was so secure - we never had to worry about our small pup in the yard. Hoping to return to Folly Beach, and we would definitely stay here again!

This place is such a gem - a rare glimpse at the original charm of Folly but with all the comfort you need. We came as a family, with 3 teens, and everything was just perfect for all; location = primo, kitchen well stocked, porch lovely, and toys aplenty for biking and enjoying the water. Hope to come again, truly.

Great place with plenty of room. Charming accents, lots of goodies (bikes, boards, sand toys and towels), functional layout with everything we needed. Really enjoyed the big yard and location. Would recommend for anyone looking to experience Folly Beach.

Wonderful place.

I was honestly a little nervous to book this house because it looked a little dated in the photos, but in the short time I stayed here, I feel in love with this home. It reminds me a lot of going to your grandparents house. Everything isn’t brand new, but it was so cozy. The owners have put money in where it matters. It has a newly remodeled bathroom and a super nice heating/ac. Everything was super clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with young kids or a dog. The fenced in yard is amazing but they even have gates on the porch. I cannot explain how much that is appreciated with a toddler. We spent so much time sitting on the deck, hanging out and listening to the waves. It was 50s-60s when we went but the beach access is directly across the street, so we went and they provided just about every beach toy imaginable. My daughter loved it. They had everything you could need. We loved it so much, we wanted to extend our stay but it was already booked. In case it wasn’t obvious, I highly recommend this home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was quite comfortable and the location was ideal for accessing the beach for sunrise walks with our dogs. We appreciated being close to the downtown area, but far enough away to not have to deal with additional pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The house reminded us of visits to family members’ lake homes when we were growing up. We quickly felt right at home. Elizabeth was very easy to work with and responded in a timely manner to any questions that we had.

Great stay, even better location! This is a cottage, quaint and cozy. Kitchen could use some updates, but everything we needed was provided. Our dogs LOVED the yard. Communication with host was excellent!

The home was comfortable and in a perfect location for our first visit to Folly Beach. Everything was clean and the house was well-equipped. Elizabeth happily accommodated some special requests that made our stay and travel smooth sailing.

Wonderful house with everything we needed. So close to the beach and far enough away from the "action" to be quiet but close enough to walk.

We stayed during hurricane Ian and the owner offered to reschedule our stay. We were in town for a wedding so we weren't able to reschedule but really appreciated the offer. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The house is well stocked with bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs etc all you need to do is show up. Beach acess is right across the street which is great for families with kids. We did experience flooding of the streets and driveway that was obviously out of the owners control. This was our fisrt time visiting Charleston/Folly Beach and would love to come back with our kids as it's a great area. Despite the hurricane we had a great time and would definitely stay at this house again!
