We had an absolutely wonderful stay!! The cabin has anything and everything thst you could possibly need!! The location was perfect fot just about anything you could want to see. The hosts were so kind, you feel like family. I cannot imagine a better place to stay. The fireplace made the cabin so cozy on the 31 degree nights. I recommend this to anyone who has a dog, they are very welcome. The kitties outside were an added coziness!! We loved it here so much!!

We came to Andrews for the marriage conference at Snowbird Outfitters. Great location, convenient to the main campus. The cabin was very cozy and we really felt at home. The fridge and kitchen were well stocked with breakfast supplies. The bathroom had extra toiletries if you forgot anything. The hosts are very detailed oriented and thought of everything a guest may need. It felt like we were visiting family, very welcoming. We hope to return in the future and will recommend to others. Thank you!

The host was so sweet. From the personal greeting at the door to the stocked fridge, she made sure we felt right at home.
The 2 stray cats in the property greeted us as we walked in and Georgie, the orange and white tabby, waited for us every time we left and entered. For a “stray” he was SO SWEET! Honestly, if we could have a cat, I would have loaded Georgie up to come back with us.
The property was exactly as described. Seems it’s been a little while since the outside was power washed, which would go a long way to spiffing it up BUT that was not a big deal to us.
There was 1 thing we absolutely did not expect during our stay: on our 2nd night, we laid down and the bed hit the ground - just fell completely apart 😬 We got it back together to get through the night and I immediately emailed the owner to let her know, as she had another guest coming in right after we left today.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere of the house was perfect for us.

My daughter and I had a lovely holiday! We stayed in the cabin for five days and had everything we needed, Mrs. Pat is very kind and most definitely provides just about any household item you could need. She stocks the fridge with plenty of breakfast items, provided amenities for dogs and the supplies bathroom with toiletries. My daughter brought her dog (shepherd) and it was snug with the three of us. We spent most of our time hiking at Juney Whank Falls, Tellico Gap, Wayah Bald, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Jackrabbit Trail to name a few. Asheville and the Biltmore Estate are within a two hour drive and lots more to do! We had a great time and highly recommend staying at the Moose Crossing Cabin!

We absolutely loved this little place. After a very long day of traveling, we were exhausted and it was so nice to come into a place that everything we needed for breakfast the next morning. Our two little dogs loved it too! We slept in a very comfy bed. Unfortunately we received a phone call in the early morning of our first night and had to leave due to a family emergency. So my little planned get away was cut REAL short. Thank you so much Pat for your generosity and your sweet little cabin!

Moose Crossing is a perfect stay for a single or couple to explore Cherokee County and nearby Nantahala National Forest, Murphy and local TVA Dams. The Hosts have thought of all possible needs from supplies to conveniences. (Pat even thought of dog treats for my little fur baby). So nice to look out and see the mountains and take advantage of the friendly small town of Andrews. Highly recomend for sweet stay. (I enjoyed two weeks here!)

A wonderful cabin that was just the right size for my husband, myself and our dog. Don't worry if you forget to pack something, it is most likely to be there. The location is close proximity to the family I was visiting. The owners are available for any questions you may have
We will definitely be returning again!!

Pat was super sweet and her cabin is adorable! It’s got everything you need for your stay! Lots of towels and breakfast foods! The area itself is great! Close enough to touristy Smokey mountains to go there, but far enough that you don’t have to deal with tons of traffic. Would definitely stay here again!

The nights were chilly and having a fire in the fireplace was perfect. The breakfast food that Pat left was amazing. The kitchen, while small, was stocked with everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable. My dog, Meal'Ola and I loved our stay here.

It was perfect for our birthday 🥳 weekend getaway 🙌 we were between Murphy and Bryson City and we’re able to explore both cities.

Quiet, quaint, tiny home big enough for two to stay very comfortably. Pat is a great host and very friendly. We really appreciated the stocked refrigerator and extras provided for our comfort and convenience. Not much to do in town but Murphy is only about 15 miles away. If you want a quiet peaceful place to just get away this is it. We would stay there again.

The cabin is charming. It was stocked with all the essentials and then some. The mountain view from the front porch is awesome. We definitely recommend this cabin and we hope to go again soon.

The cabin was cozy: the bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets, the shower was great (soaps, shampoos and lotions supplied), the kitchen was very well stocked (we could have eaten breakfast all week and still not exhausted the supplies laid in for us), and all the extras were great. The kitchen was stocked with any spice or cooking utensil a guest would have needed. The location was good, kinda of in between all area attractions. The only thing we would have liked better is a place to put our stuff, the cabin was cluttered with moose paraphernalia. The outside steps seemed a bit tired. All in all, I would recommend Moose Crossing to anyone visiting the area. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and the neighborhood cat was fun.

The cabin was better stocked than my 3 bedroom 2 bath home! Forget anything- no problem Pat will already have it there for you. Need anything- its there! Comfortable bed, chairs, sofa. Little kitchen has everything you need and more. I could have packed 1/2 as much stuff as I brought. Even a wonderful little washer and dryer. Loved the porch- it went 3/4 of the way around the house. Birdfeeders up so you could watch the birds and the squirrels, and a couple of cats that are neighborhood cats that like to hang out there. Nice view of the mountains and they get smokey as well. My only problem was with WiFi, and I suspect it was my old laptop that was the problem. I could only get service out on the porch. Another excuse to enjoy it even more! I am only sorry I could not have stayed longer.

The property was as described and better. The additional little things provided made it feel like home. They provided many things that we just didn't expect, especially considering the price. If you're looking for quiet little place that feels like home with more accommodations then you would expect, this is a great choice.

I would recommend anyone to stay at this property. The fridge being stocked was great and saved us a ton of time to not have to buy breakfast. If you stay, you have to try and count all the moose, I bet you won't find them all.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Moose Crossing this week. The most outstanding feature of our trip was the host and hostess of our cabin. Patrick and Pat were absolutely delightful and most accommodating. Patrick even helped me carry our luggage up the stairs, since my husband is disabled. You can simply bring your clothes and a few personal items, and you’re all set!
The cabin is in town and very easy to find.
While the outside of the cute little cabin could use a little tiding up, the inside of the cabin is very clean and very live able .
The bed is comfortable, the shower with safety bars is very relaxing ,and the tv and internet worked fine. There were very clear instructions for all lights, appliances, and safety items. Pat had really thought of everything: the frig is stocked, and when we needed batteries for the tv, they were right there on the coffee in the remote control tray.
Not only did Pat consider our needs, she even had treats for our schnauzer, Gracie.
We will definitely return to Moose Crossing for a little fun and relaxation!
