My husband, 2 year old son and I stayed in this condo for our family vacation to San Diego. We thought the condo was the perfect place to stay! The condo was very clean and accommodating for our family. We also really loved the Ocean Beach neighborhood. It seemed more local than some of the other popular places to stay in San Diego, and the restaurants were great too. Highly recommend this stay!

My husband and I stayed in this one-bedroom condo in the back of the building, while our son and family were in the front overlooking the ocean. Our apartment was very comfortable and kitchen well-supplied. The location is tranquil, but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches. We especially liked the large shared front patio with well-maintained gas grill for morning coffee and evening sunset viewing. Lisa was very helpful - even sending back some medicines that I somehow forgot. Thanks Lisa!

This unit is one of the best VRBOs I have stayed at. The unit was perfect and the location couldn't be better. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have been bringing our children to OB for nearly ten years and this location is perfect for all things Newport and beyond! We love being able to walk to downtown. Now its just the two of us and we still have just as much fun. The ocean is right there.

I enjoyed this rental very much. It was clean and was thoughtfully supplied with just about everything. It was easy to check in and check out. And location was very nice.

We loved our stay. Check in/out was a breeze. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. There was a hiccup with one of the fans and we communicated with each other and she was willing to call an electrician if needed but it wasn’t needed and everything was back in working order in minutes. Great place to stay within walking distance of fun in Ocean Beach.

We stayed here for a weekend. It is in a fantastic location, just around the corner from the cliffs. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The place itself is cozy. Take caution when driving up the steep driveway to park. Our car scraped a little, but there is a way to do it without scraping. The AC wasn't working when we were there, but there are a ton of windows, so it wasn't an issue. Lisa is such a nice woman. The only reason 4 stars and not 5 is because of the steep driveway that made our car scrape and the lack of working AC. Everything else was magnificent! There's even a washer/dryer in the unit!

Pictures and description were all accurate. Easy stay. PM was very communicative. Cliffside views were amazing. Quiet and secluded, but close to major attractions. My husband and I were happy overall. Thank you!

This apartment had everything we needed and was very nice and clean. Lisa was very responsive and helpful. The location right on the sea cliffs was amazing! We enjoyed spending time looking out at the ocean in the mornings and evenings and spent an afternoon exploring all the nearby tide pools and little coves. This location was very convenient to Ocean Beach (you can walk there), Sea World, the airport, Sunset Cliffs, and Point Loma. This is a great neighborhood for anyone who wants to feel more like a local and less like a tourist! It was nice to have a parking spot since street parking filled up. A couple things to keep in mind if you're looking at this place: the couch bed was not very comfortable according to my 12-year-old son (he ended up sleeping on the air mattresses provided in the apartment), though the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable for me and my daughter. Also, as a mom traveling alone with two kids I didn't feel 100 percent safe in this neighborhood. I wouldn't have wanted to walk around at night with them here, though the apartment itself felt safe enough. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend the tide pools/rocky cliffs in this area for little kids, but for my older kids (12 and 14) they were just fine.

Girlfriend and I spent 5 days in the San Diego and this property in OB was our “home base”. Everything about our experience was fantastic! From check in, to the place itself, everything was above and beyond our expectations. VRBO was clean and in a fantastic location. So many good restaurants, breweries, points of interest all in walking distance. Better yet a lot of touristy San Diego points of interest were a quick drive/Uber. Highlight of our trip was sitting outside on the shared patio or standing on the sunset cliffs and watching the dolphins play or just enjoying the sunset. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Great little cliffside condo. Perfect for a great little stay and enough room for us to get ready to go. So close to Seaworld and lots of little shops near by to explore. Beautiful scenery to enjoy.

Property was well kept, comfortable, and well stocked with essentials. Property manager was very nice and remained available for any questions or needs. Easy check in/check out process. Right by the ocean-amazing view. For the view and nice place to stay the price was very reasonable.

This location is perfect if you want to just enjoy Ocean Beach or get around San Diego. Property was very clean with a fully (and I mean fully) stocked kitchen. Any project you want to do, they have the supplies to do it. Owner sets you up for the beach with chairs, boogie boards, suntan lotion, to toys for playing in the sand. Location is right next to the ocean within easy walking distance to local restaurants. We really liked the vibe of Ocean Beach. Now the patio technically doesn't have an ocean view. You need to lean your body way over the concrete edge to see the ocean. You are located in the back of a building that has multiple units. The front units have this shared patio space that we believe all the units shared...but I did feel like I was encroaching on their space. The back of the building, where this unit is located, is flush against this back alley / street, and the bedroom window is facing that view. Cars and trucks with rather loud music did go down that alley / street on Friday night and you can hear it but it wasn't a problem for the rest of the time we were there. The parking is in this upper gravel lot behind the building, with a tiny little parking stall number. That was a bit confusing for us at first. We arrived at night and did not see it as the lot is not lit, but it's great to have parking. A really solid location and set up. Highly recommend.

This was a very nice place to stay at, very convenient to all locations and the highlights of San Diego. We love this little ocean side town of Ocean Beach. This was our second time staying in this area. The view from this property is amazing and had a nice grill area to cook and prepare food. We really enjoyed the property. Thank you for having my little family of three.

We had a great short stay here. The home was very clean and organized. We loved being close to everything, especially the cliffs and tide pools. This is a great place to come, relax, and enjoy the beautiful views!

We loved staying here! Clean and walking distance to EVERYTHING! We absolutely loved the tide pools near by and a small (mostly) secluded beach a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as the pictures show. Had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. We did not rent a car and were a bit worried but We were able to easily walk everywhere we needed to go for entertainment and food.

Lisa was an incredible host, she went the extra mile and helped get some champagne and chocolates for me to surprise to my girlfriend. The communication throughout the entire stay and checkin/checkout process was so great. Very clean and easy stay! Ocean Beach is so close to everything, and the location of this property by the water was amazing. Great walks and viewpoints for sunsets, as well as close proximity to stores, bars, and restaurants. Will for sure be looking into this property again when we come back down to San Diego!

Lovely property in the PERFECT location. Exceeded our expectations. The sunsets are stunning from the patio. The beach, tide pools, pier and restaurants/shopping are only a couple of blocks away walking. Nice neighborhood. Fully stocked to feel at home right away. Check in and out were an absolute breeze. Lisa answered texts immediately so we felt taken care of. The couch is a pull out- but a bit small for a larger teen or adult. My 15 year old could not sleep there comfortably due to his size. It would , however, work perfectly for smaller kiddos. He used a blow up bed and was very content, so the property worked well for us. We truly did not want to leave. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was nice and clean. I loved the location. There were plenty of restaurants around. The view was beautiful. And I used the nearby trail to find a quiet place to watch surfers.

The neighbors were delightful. The ocean view was so amazing it was clear and free of any traffic. Like a private beach just for us. The ocean sounds were the perfect backdrop for evening on a lawn chair. The neighbor shops were friendly and very artistic. There is a Wednesday market that was great.
