City Haven III was absolutely perfect for my husband and I’s anniversary trip. It’s only a few miles from the Seattle Waterfront, Pike Place Market, Seattle Space Needle and the Zoo. It was very clean and all the essentials were there for us. There was a grocery store not too far either. Highly recommend this location.

We brought my Mom to visit Seattle for the first time and we all loved this place(and she is super picky lol:) It was quiet and tucked away; perfect after a busy day out and about. My only comment, and it isn't negative at all, is that parking is pretty tight. We came in my van and it was fun getting in and out. I'm not sure we would have been able to park in the lot if there had been a guest staying in the upper unit. And if we would have been in our larger vehicle, there would have been no way we would have fit. But there did seem to be plenty of street parking so as long as you know that ahead of time, you should be good to go. I also really enjoyed the story of how the owners met:)

Central location , well appointed , all necessities provided . Clean & everything is decorated in white , so this farm family feels quite posh !
Not recommended for any person over 6’3”. We have had a lot of laughs about the 6 ft 2 guy & the best advice he’s ever got . Which is duck !

The house is cute & warm. Our teen enjoyed having his own space & said “this is the kind of place I want to live in when I move out”. The owner was kind and attentive. Highly recommend.

Third time visiting family in Seattle, stayed here for 5 nights with my wife while visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday. This is a very nice spot to stay though it is a little quirky.
The neighborhood is really great, plenty of things are within walking distance - multiple restaurants, a lovely market, a little bakery, a musical instrument store, and a zoo. We took advantage of everything nearby while we were there.
The property was very clean with plenty of parking nearby. Rooms were warm and quiet. Washing machine and dryer were easy to use.
The owners had great communication and were awesome to deal with.
The quirk of the property is the ceilings are low. It wasn't a problem for me and my wife, but if you are 6'4" or taller this is probably not the place for you to stay.
The one thing I wished was better was the kitchen. I enjoy cooking and like to sample the local offerings wherever I go on vacation. The burners on the electric stove top were not level which made them difficult to use, my guess is the stove was disassembled for cleaning and not put back together correctly.
My humble suggestion to the owners would be to add a 9x9 baking pan, replace the mishmash of stove top pots and pans with a full set of pots and pans with lids, and get some better kitchen scissors, but this isn't a deal breaker.
None of the quirks or wishes would keep me from booking this property again next year. I usually make my famous pumpkin cheesecake at my brothers house anyway.

Teresa was amazing! Let us know we could even check in early which worked perfect for us! This is a 1920’s home that was split into two units. We stayed in the basement apartment it had everything we needed and it was close to the University of Washington near the hospital which is why we were here. House has lower ceilings because it’s in older home but it was quaint! Quiet and very clean. I will say parking definitely was a bit challenging and requires patience however I eventually became a pro. Recommend smaller vehicle if planning to stay. We had a mid size and still fit but any oversized or larger vehicle you would need to have street parking. Overall would totally stay here again! I feel like I could have meant Teresa and had coffee with her and we would have been good friends!

Yes, the ceilings were short, but the listing informed us so that we already had that expectation. Very clean and spacious place. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

very lovingly furnished, quiet and equipped with everything necessary. the location with its proximity to the nearest bus stop to the city center and the zoo was perfect for us.
the parking space belonging to the apartment directly in front of the house is rather inconvenient for a large car, especially if the second parking space next to it is also occupied. but since there are enough parking options on the street, this does not matter.
we had a great time and can recommend the apartment in any case.

Safe, quiet and clean area. Parking was a plus.
Market Place grocery was in walking distance with prepared foods breakfast, lunch etc. at great prices. Gas stations with best gas prices in town. Management easy to contact with fast communication.

What a perfect little place to stay! Plenty of light in the many windows makes you forget you are in a basement. Pay attention to the 76" ceiling height. It's a little tight if you are taller.
Everything we needed to stay 5 days. The washer and dryer came in handy as we got caught in the rain.
Very easy to walk and catch the bus. Close enough to walk to wonderful restaurants. A short drive to shopping. We found it easier to take the bus downtown as it was cheaper than paying for parking.
Teresa the host is ready to help with anything you need. The keyless entry was very easy to use.
We enjoyed our stay in Seattle very much. This cozy space was a wonderful home base in a very unique neighbourhood. We would definitely stay here again.

It seemed like the throw blankets in the living room had not been washed.

Everything was smooth and clean with the property. It felt homey and had everythig we needed for a great stay. Teresa even reached out multiple times to make sure we had everything settled. Location was within walking distance to a bunch of delicious food. Worth another stay!

We were looking for a well placed location to enjoy an 80th birthday bucket list trip for our mom when we found this property. It's located within easy reach of Hwy 99 into the city, close to a great grocery (Marketime Foods) and in a quiet neighborhood great for walking to a nearby park. We had everything we needed for a comfortable home base. Thanks to the owners that offered this place to stay.

The owners have put a lot of love and sweat into this adorable apartment. A lot of attention to detail was used and anything you need is available here! Plenty of space for 2 couples and very comfortable. Bathroom was well stocked with towels, toilet paper and towels. Kitchen has all you need to cook should you choose. Lastly, the coffee provided was so delicious too!! There is a corner convenience store around the corner thats pretty well stocked for your last minute needs. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Seattle. Owner also checked in on us which was very nice 😊

Teresa was great to work with.
The property is very clean, comfortable and well appointed.
The unit does have low ceilings so if you are a tall individual know that this is a basement unit.
The bedrooms are spacious with large closets. In addition, the utility room is also large.
The bathroom and kitchen are a bit small so if you are staying with more than 2 people these spaces could be a challenge.
The parking for unit B is tough. If the folks in unit A have a large SUV it makes for some tricking parking. But there is street parking.
The cleaning team was there at 10:30am and began cleaning the unit above us so we felt a bit rushed up get out.
We were especially appreciative of the welcome book and Teresa’s humor!
Overall it was a great weekend and we really enjoyed the Fremont location. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was clean and nicely appointed. Owner was very communicative and made sure everything was well. Great location as it was close to most all attractions. We were on the road with our daughter and son in law. Our only surprise was that it was a remodeled basement, which in itself was fine; however, the ceilings were very low, guessing six and 1/2 feet. My son in law Is 6’1” and had to be careful. But my 5’2” daughter loved it, and felt it was made just for her. Overall, we enjoyed it. Thank you!

A little warm in the rooms for them perfect for me. Close little store. Easy to get around. Only most places seem to be closed on mondays

No complaints. The property was as advertised and very comfortable to stay in. The location is great. The zoo was only a 5 minute walk. If you are above 6 ft tall I would not recommend staying here since the ceilings are a little low but for us short people this place is perfect.

Stayed here before and were pleased to have it available for our stay. Location next to Woodland Park is great and access to Aurora to get downtown and to the stadium. As stated in other reviews, there can be a footstep noise from the upstairs residents.

Perfect in every way! We stayed a few days before our cruise and then a couple of days after cruise to finish touring the town. It was so nice to have a full size washer & dryer. Also, just a short walk to bus stop to take us to Marketplace and Downtown to all attractions. So easy to communicate with the owner via text message. Look for the black binder! It’s full of information and is actually a good read along with a giggle! You can’t go wrong with a stay here!

Great place between the airport and cruise port. Just watch your head if you’re 6 feet+ -the ceilings and doorways are not standard height.
