Only able to stay 1 night. But will book in the future for longer!! It was clean. Faced the pool with a balcony. The extra space and privacy was great. Thanks!

The condo was immaculately clean, equipped with everything we needed, and comfortably furnished. The extra den and two bathrooms were perfect for our family of four. We love staying at Allegheny Springs right on the slopes and in the middle of the village—the heated pool and hot tub are a favorite Snowshoe tradition after skiing! Great location overlooking the pool rather than the loud snow blowers that we listened to all night last time we stayed at Allegheny. Will definitely be booking this place for future trips.

Awesome place for a pre Christmas getaway

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. Access to slopes couldn't be better. It was really fun being in the middle of the "village". Heated pool and hot tub were perfect after a day on the slopes.

Two bathrooms and two main areas to sleep so you can use the living room as an actual place to sit. Very nice location with heated pool and hot tub. Being on the second floor near Webster and stairs makes it easy to go downstairs to access the amenities. Ski locker is on the other side of the building but you can walk through the outside or inside to get there and the lockers are slope side!

We loved this place. All the necessary utensils and cookware to cook for our family and even for baking a cake for my wife’s birthday.
The bed was very comfortable and they kids enjoyed the pullout sofa. This place has 3 pullout sofas and a bed. So you have a lot of sleeping options. There is also 3 big screen tv’s, one in each room. More than enough towels and paper products for a family of 4 for 4 nights. Has a nice view of the pool and hot tubs and it was nice to see the steam coming off the water as the snow fell. It can get pretty windy at the top of snowshoe and we have stayed in other units where you didn’t want to go out on the balcony. But this unit’s balcony is somewhat protected by the winds. If your looking for a place in snowshoe, Allegheny is the best place to stay!! They have 2 hot tubs and a heated pool, cheat mountain pizza is located in the bottom of the building, ski lockers, nice lobby with a tv and fireplace, free entry to split rock (pool/hot tubs/kids water slides), 1 min walk, great location at one end of the village and your right there at the top of ballhooter lift.
We are looking forward to staying here again!

We have stayed at Mr. Read’s condo for 8 straight years for a reason. Great condo setup for our family, great amenities and location, and the recent updates are great.

We've been coming to Snowshoe for a decade, and this is the best place we've stayed thus far. Alleghany Springs is always the perfect location for us, but this unit was by far more spacious than others we've stayed in. Everything was clean and comfortable. We are definitely booking this unit again!

5:00 was a lil ate to check in but we made it work and had a wonderful time! The bedroom beds were comfortable enough but the brown pull out couch in the den was almost unbearable. The bathrooms were great and we had an issue with the garbage disposal that the owner was very responsive and helpful to. Overall we would definitely stay here again and we had wonderful family bonding time here. Beautiful furniture and nicely decorated :)

Our 2nd year staying in this condo the week before Christmas. Plenty of space for 2 adults + 2 (adult-sized) teens. Great as both a landing spot after a day full of activities or just to lounge around in front of the fire watching holiday movies. Easy access to slopes and village. Pool and hot tub were utilized every night. :)

The room was excellent, very clean and plenty of room for my family. Access to the slopes was very close and convenient. Loved storing my gear in the locker room that was just a few steps away from the slopes. Also enjoyed being just steps away from the main village area.

We have been to snowshoe several times, first time in Allegheny springs and we had a fantastic time. Space was roomy, very clean, plenty of towels and linens, kitchen well stocked and all kids had own beds with sleeper sofas.. had two minor issues and all were communicated about promptly and did not interfere at all with our stay! We will definitely be back as the village and area is so fun!

This was our first visit to Snowshoe and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Everything was just as described and the location could not be beat! We look forward to coming back in the future!

Perfect Condo in the Village
Booked this room for the GNCC race weekend and it did not disappoint. Prime location in Allegany Springs. Easy to check-in with the front desk in the building and walking distance to anything in the village. Honestly it was nicer and more roomy than the pictures show, everything looked brand new. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dish soap etc. Had a small
Issue with the AC the first day but the resort maintenance fixed it quickly. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend and book again in the future!!

The condo was perfect. Updated appliances, TVs and beds. No issues with Dale.

Great Unit in Alleghany Springs
I stayed for the weekend with my fiance and another couple. The location is great, right in the main Village in Alleghany Springs. It also has a great view, the balcony overlooks the pool and hot tub area. The unit was clean and well stocked with what we needed. The layout was nice, the den is separated from the main living room by the bedroom and bathrooms, so while there is no door to the den (just to the main bedroom) it didn't feel cramped. I definitely recommend this unit if you are planning a trip!

Baby’s first winter vacation
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property. Proximity to the slopes and the village combined with the extra amenities offered at Allegheny Springs made it an ideal stay. The unit itself was clean and well equipped. Both Dale and the front desk staff were helpful and responsive. We’ve stayed all over the mountain in the last 10 years and I would 100% stay here again.

Great Family Trip
Pre check in communications with Dale were perfect. We were able to check in a little early, not guaranteed, but was a definite plus after 8 hours in a car with kids. This was our first time staying in a room with a den, and it was huge bonus. AS is a great location and easy access into MAC, Cheat Mtn, and the village. The TV's were excellent and easy to navigate. The beds were comfy, and everything worked as described. The Kitchen was complete with all the cookware needed. Overall great experience and will book again.

We enjoyed our time at Snowshoe in Mr. Read’s property. Perfect for our family and convenient to everything we wanted to do. 7th straight year staying here and we will be back next year. Mr. Read is very responsive, great condo.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for :)
Though you pay a premium for the location (as is common for the village and Snowshoe in general), this unit is worth the cost. There was plenty of room for at least 6 adults and the beds were super comfortable. Also, it's hard to top that ski-in/ski-out convenience or the amazing hot tubs at Allegheny Springs. Wifi, which is also can be a struggle on the mountain, was even really good throughout the unit minus the bedroom (but that's way better than other places we've stayed there). The owner was very helpful and responsive as well. Would highly recommend this unit to others.

Great Property in Perfect Location
Our family was incredibly impressed by cleanliness, condition and location of this condo in Snowshoe Village. Snowshoe Village itself looked like it had been taken right out of a scene in a Hallmark Christmas movie. :) We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked our stay for the holiday season 2022!
Side note, due to staffing issues, check-in for Allegheny Springs is at the Top of the World location about a mile down the road. Hopefully this is only short-lived.

It’s right on the pool which is cool if that’s the vibe you’re looking for. Kids in the pool were a little loud but they shut it down at roughly 10 so was able to get some sleep.The management said that since we booked through VRBO that we had to wait until 5pm to check in unless we were specifically notified, which we thought was weird. But it worked out fine anyway since the slopes close at 4:30 anyway. Overall very great stay!

Best place for families
This was our 6th straight year staying in Mr. Read’s property, absolutely love his condo and his responsiveness. We have never been disappointed with the condo or Snowshoe. Our kids are 11 year old twins, and we all feel quite at home there. Still the #1 yearly tradition that can never get here soon enough and then makes us look forward to next year the moment we have to head home. Thank you Mr. Read!

Perfect stay
Dale’s unit was absolutely perfect. From cleanliness to having every item for comfort in the kitchen available! His home away from home quickly became ours on the mountain. We stayed in Snow Shoe the beginning of August in a unit we would not go back to. Dale’s made us feel at home and comfortable. The units ease to the Village is great. Our daughter is racing the DH National here this weekend and the “commute” back and forth to the pits was easy. We will be back! Thanks Dale!
