Our family needed a place near Lake Norman to attend our daughter’s wedding. It was a great place with plenty of space for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and all the things you needed to cook. A wonderful lake front place with all the comforts of home.

This property is in a very quiet area - both by land and by “sea”. The oldest guy there (me) paddled a kayak around most of the cove. Kayaks and paddle boat were great.
From previous experiences elsewhere, we knew we would want to have morning sun (not so hot) and afternoon shade (also not so hot). This turned out to be extremely beneficial, as we could spend lots of time on or near the dock and water. The sun was optional.
Once we read the instructions, everything worked as they should. Icemaker is a big plus! Kitchen and multiple seating around it served us well. We were able to spend quality time together without the stresses of ownership (that must have been included in the price!)
Overall, a great experience with this property, at a reasonable price, compared to other options!

Family looks forward to meeting here every year for a great time at the lake. House is roomy enough for a big group with everything you need in the kitchen. Always clean & plenty of toys for the lake.Thanks Chuck for another great stay.

Outstanding property, right on Lake Norman. Spacious, well appointed, well stocked kitchen, good layout home. We have 6 adults and six kids, never felt cramped, rather plenty of room for all. Kids and adults love kayaks and paddle boats, water was very calm. Outstanding sunsets. Saw Dee's everyday walking through property. Very quite area, yet only a short drive to grocery stores and alike. Would deffinetely recommend.

This was our 22 year of taking our Family on a Christmas trip. This home was easy to get to and plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Home was clean and ready for our arrival time. The home is laid out great for everyone to hang out together or you could always find a place to spend quiet time alone. Plenty of things to do during the day and evening to keep everyone happy. We all enjoyed the indoor go cart track and putt putt golf nearby. My wife said this was a place that made you feel like you were at home. This is the fourth time our family has rented this property. We love the location, comfortable furniture, and spacious seating for meals. There is lots of room at the dock to hang out to go swimming and fishing off the pier and well-stocked kitchen and linen supplies. They truly have everything our large family needs and we rarely (if ever) leave the property the entire week. The owner is kind and wants all of his guests to enjoy their time at the lake. I love that we get to work directly with the home owner and do not need to deal with a property management company. Would definitely recommend.

The house matched the photos and description perfectly. There were eight (8) adults in our group and the layout of space worked great. The views of the lake are spectacular and although it was a bit chilly to go swimming we did manage to take a kayak out for a quick "stroll" near the house. We will rent again and highly recommend for large groups, all ages.

Nice place with lots to do. It’s an older home with a generally dated appearance. Could have used a deeper cleaning under furniture. Noted extra dust in these areas as we collected kids toys while they played.

Wonderful location and interesting set-up. Kitchen very nicely stocked and house layout is terrific for a family. Dock is on a pretty, quiet cove and easily accessible with several paddleboards and kayaks and a nice sand beach. On the down side, the Loft area (2 br/bth plus an open loft bed) tended to stay very hot in summer. A/C not very effective up there. The mattresses are all pretty worn and could use replacing. Other than that, everything was top-notch and our family really enjoyed our stay.
