Good cabin for a family. Close to downtown and snow valley which is where we enjoyed tubbimg. Spacious and tucked away from the hustle and bustle.of the holiday season. Our kids had a great time.

This property is an attractive, clean and well stocked older home with air-conditioning. The outdoor balcony is a refuge of song birds and whistling trees, where we dined in the mornings and evenings. Down stairs has a fun game room. This home is just a few driving miles from a grocery store, Lake arrowhead and the village making this an ideal location. Not knowing that LA is a private lake, I did not realize the importance of having Lake rights, which this property has. Bring floating devices in the summer as the water is clean and refreshing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to vacation in this home again.

We had a wonderful time. Karin was excellant at replying quickly to all the questions I sent her about the house & Lake Arrowhead activities. She had the house fully stocked with everything you need. It was very well organized & everything was easy to find right where she said it would be. The game room was a big bonus for the kids & adults. I loved the tri-level layout! My family and I stayed at Karin's place for 5 months and loved it! The place is spacious, there is a peek-a-boo view of the lake, a great network of hiking trails are just a few minutes walk away, and everyone around was very friendly. Plus, we were only a few minutes drive from Blue Jay Village and just over 10 minutes drive to Lake Arrowhead Village and about the same to Sky Park. The place has a nice wilderness, getaway feel while still being close to everything. If we decide on another temporary stay in Lake Arrowhead we will be sure to reach out to Karin and Mark about staying in their lovely home. They were excellent and very responsive hosts.

Everything about this cabin is welcoming. Plenty of room. Downstairs is great! Our favorite part is the declivitous pool table. The location is wonderful too. Close to everything you might want, but still private. Karin is a fantastic host. Always available via phone and/or email.

We had such a great stay at this mountain home. There was plenty of room for our family with the three bedrooms. We had a blast in the game room with the pool table and foosball table. The setting is very quiet with pines around. Had fun at the beach club and even did some fishing. It is close to town and to the village. The reservation process was easy and Karin was quick to respond to questions we had. This was the second time to visit this home and both times were very enjoyable and we plan to be back.

Our family had the best time ! Beautiful and cozy cabin . Close to everything . My son especially loved the game room with the pool table and all the video games . We will definitely book this cabin again. The owners were responsive to my questions and so thoughtful . Overall a wonderful experience!

This cabin is a great place for families. We love the bunk beds and the game room. It is very close to the movie theater, stores and restaurants. The village is close too. Karin was great at answering questions quickly. This in fact was the second time we rented the cabin and would love to come back!

The cabin was great - comfortable and had everything we needed. The only issue was the lack of heat on the third floor. A space heater would have been nice. But there were a lot of blankets...... Karin responded to all questions quickly and was very helpful with information about local places to visit. We would love to come back in the spring.

Everything you needed was provided, except your tooth brush and food! There was cable TV, and warm inviting fire place (infact 2!) and close to everything!. The games and downstairs family room had so much for the kids to do, including a pool table and a wi! We all had a wonderful time, and will go back again and again!

This home had everything we needed to feel at home, and enjoy everything Lake Arrowhead & surrounding communities have to offer. The kids loved the game room. I enjoyed the puzzles and the kitchen equipment. We all enjoyed the beaches & nature walks.

My boyfriend's band plays the Village every year for 4th of July, so we decided to make a family trip out of it this year and stay in town for a few extra days. The Watkins cabin was the perfect fit for our two families with kiddos ranging in age from 9-15. It's obvious the Watkins' place is not just a rental for them but a home away from home too. They provide ample bedding, linens, and towels, and the kitchen is very well stocked for a variety of meals. Everything was clean and organized, and the decor was very home-ey and comfortable. The amenities are countless, and we found almost everything in working order and as listed -- I say almost because the Wii equipment and the darts should probably be inventoried again :) There were a couple of things missing that were listed and the kiddos were bummed about but certainly not anything that affected our stay! Really, this cabin was perfect for us - spacious and clean and very easy to stay in. A couple of things to note -- 1) We had absolutely zero issues with neighbors. Everyone we ran into was either super friendly or just left us alone. 2) On the holiday, the fireworks can be seen from the deck but are filtered through trees. Nothing a quick journey up the street and a peek between houses couldn't fix! 3) Karin was very quick to answer our questions and very accommodating with our particular issues. Overall, we loved our little vacation here! What a great cabin to come home to after a day on the lake. Thank you, Watkins family, for sharing your little piece of paradise!!

My family and I enjoyed the cabin so much! We had plenty of room and the kids loved playing in the game room. The location was perfect and it was a very short drive to The Village (and Coach outlet), market and restaurants. It was so convenient, I would definitely stay there again with my family.

I planned my boyfriends 40th birthday with some of his family and friends and was lucky to find such a perfect location! This home is absolutely perfect! Plenty of room for our guests! The upgraded Kitchen is beautiful! I made a lovely dinner and cooking breakfast in the mornings was really nice too! The rooms were cozy and clean, and the game room downstairs was a great time too! The large deck has amazing views so we spent a lot of time out there. Karin was super helpful answering all my emails and questions! Very pleasant to work with! I highly recommend this home for a family or romantic getaway! We really had a fantastic time and my boyfriend was super happy he got to spend his 40th here! We can't wait to plan another stay soon!! Maybe next time we'll get snow!

This is a must stay cabin if you are looking to enjoy Lake Arrowhead. It is close to everything! The local grocery store and Starbucks are literally 2 minutes away...but you feel like your miles away from everything in a cozy cabin. The Kitchen has everything you need and the grill works great. Just bring your toothbrush and some food and your settled in. Plenty of room for the kids to play and the game room has more than you will ever need. So much fun!! Karin and Mark are great, they make sure you are comfortable and answer any questions you may have immediately upon your arrival. Great hosts!!

We had a great time! Cabin is really nice and comfy for families with little kids. For sure I can recommend this place!

I booked this mountain house getaway for my family of four. August and the weather was fabulous. Lots and lots to do and see and this was made easier with fabulous joining instructions from the owner Karin. There was a beach pass for a small private beach not far away and lots of ideas for hikes. Some easy, some a little more adventurous. The personal touches to the booking and e mail exchanges shone through when we arrived as we were renting in a family home and felt that rather than an empty shell with a few utensils and towels thrown in. A very "warm" house. Fabulous decking, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and games room downstairs. This would sleep easily two families for a summer holiday but also can be a romantic retreat for two in winter. It would be a great place for a short stay as we did or for a month long fun time! Nothing was too much trouble. Only regret was we couldn't have stayed longer. Thank you again, a jewel. Myles McNulty United Kingdom

We really loved our stay here. Our "summer" getaway included two straight days of severe thunderstorm warnings and rain, so with three 16 year old boys, that game room saved the day! It had everything imaginable. The other three days were sunny and the owners provided some fantastic suggestions of things to do nearby; which we did. Cabin was clean and owners totally accessible to us. It was a great time, great place, memorable few days! Thank you!

The house in itself was ok but there was a lot of things that need to be updated. The darts board didn't have any darts that worked, the foosball table had a pipe that was coming off, the pool table you could not lean on it because it felt like we were going to break it and some of the wii games would stop working unexpectedly. The pans to cook were very dirty even if we washed them, they are just plain old. The expectations of cleaning were too high, we were expected to leave the place clean, put away sheets, sweep, put away dishes, when we are paying for cleaning service. So what does the cleaning people do?? I probably would not rent this place again. The person in charge was very helpful and prompt with her responses though.

My husband and I hosted my parents and his parents for 3 nights in this multi-level cabin. We had plenty of space to hang out and sleep. If you're into games, the basement is the place to play! Most of our time at the cabin was spent sleeping or hanging out on the deck. We did not venture down to the lake beach (we spent our outside-the-cabin time riding around and enjoying the view from Keller Peak's fire lookout...about 8,000 feet up!). Karin was pleasant to communicate with. I appreciate her asking us to check in with her to make sure everything was good for us. The only glitch I encountered was not being able to get the big jetted tub to work (alas, I should have flipped a switch outside to reset the circuit). This was our first time to rent a cabin when traveling with "older" (65+) travelers. Both moms had some difficulties with the steps (mostly on the outside), but they took it easy and did OK. (Having them take the steps inside from the basement to the first floor worked better than having them walk up the outside staircase.) The updates to the kitchen, especially the nice big stove, are nice. The deck grill is another nice touch. Considering all the space and amenities that come with this cabin, it's worth booking.

This is a great cabin! I have stayed here a few times (with friends and with family/kids) And I love it! The area is quiet and great for relaxing! Very clean and comfortable. A nice place for a long weekend, winter or summer. It is stocked with all the things you need and then some. Karin, the owner, was very accommodating and easy to work with. It is always a great experience which makes me come back!

My son's birthday wish was to spend the weekend in a cabin. Happy to say, we found the perfect place. This cabin is lovely, clean & fully stocked with essentials. Perfect for our party of 7. Karin, the owner was great. Answered my questions and very accommodating to our needs. We will be back as we all fell in love with this beauty. Thank you!!
