Property as described. It seems bigger than listed. Saw some cobwebs, bugs, spiders, etc. Could use a good thorough cleaning. Bed spread smelled musty, windows were filthy. We brought our own beddiing tho. Hot tub & fireplace made up for other issues. Take firewood and whatever you Want to eat to avoid having to go out unless you want to. Nearest grocery store is 6 miles away. We had a very quiet, enjoyable stay. Would recommend knowing you might have to clean some on your own.

Cabin was nice however needed some major upgrades and wasn’t that clean. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Wish they would take time to keep updates on cabin and not let it run down. Online pictures made it look nicer than it was.

Nice stay and great location. Need to be a bit cleaner and a little musty but with air on it was ok.
Nice location central to Chimney Rock.

Very close to the state park. Very private.

The cabin was very secluded and clean but room for improvement. There was no trash can in the kitchen, the towels were super small, and no back up paper towels. We texted to see where we could get more but no one texted back. Overall the stay was good, but be prepared for an extremely sparse cabin.

This is a nice place and really close to Chimney Rock. Was able to grill out right next to the hot tub!

It wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. Bird droppings and spider webs were all over.

Nice size cabin with a miraculous view. The inside was well maintained. Over all time spent there was relaxing and peaceful.

Great location, convenient to Luke Lure and Chimney Rock but the cabin was not clean. The floor was dirty, the hot tub water smelt horrible (like BO) and there was a film on top of the water. The refrigerator had not been cleaned. Old and could use some TLC. I tried to contact the owner after to request and explanation on the cabin being dirty and received no response.

The cabin interior had a very attractive appearance. Very clean. I forgot to bring coffee but, found a supply of it at the cabin which was convenient. I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the hot tub which was one of the highlights of my stay. The cabin was surprisingly close to points of intrest in Chimney Rock. I highly recommend staying here.

We rent this cabin every valentine's day. It's usually during the week. So it's just us on the mountain and cam visit and talk with the locals in town. Looking forward to next year.

Wonderful cabin, tucked up at the top of the mountain. Perfect place to just get away for the weekend. Great views, couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend.

We found a couple of dead bugs but thankful they were not alive. There is some minor maintenance items that needs attention. The front door is difficult to open, several light bulbs are burned out and need replacing, the TV remote does not function too well, the TV in bedroom does not come on, the toaster oven does not work, the coffee pot had grounds left in the filter, the door to the laundry door fell off, the BBQ grill ran out of gas and the connection was to tight to place reserve tank. We did enjoy our time and got much needed R & R. The hot tub was welcomed after a day of "mountain climbing".

This cabin has two nice porches and a hot tub that is relaxing.
For our visit, the interior had not been thoroughly cleaned in months, it seemed, some dishes had been put away dirty.
Clean floors but dusty windowsills and cobwebs in places.
We walked the short distance (less than a mile) into town, but there was no sidewalk for most of the way along the busy main road. The free half of Chimney Rock State Park (Rumbling Bald) has great hiking, even the parking lot for that side has great views.

Cabin was older but decent. We found many areas that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Pots and pans were nasty, had to scrub everything we were going to use. Hot tub was good. Grill outside was very dirty. Bed had a foam top but still pretty hard.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The hot tub was nice. Cabin was clean. They provided towels, they have a washer and dryer, and kitchen had coffee maker and coffee(although we didn’t use any of that) we would stay again.

We had the best time in this cute little but spacious cabin in chimney rock. We were close to all the surrounding amenities which is a huge plus. We will definitely be rebooking with this cabin again. The hot tub was amazing and had beautiful views as well. We basically stayed in a little slice of paradise. The booking agency was top notch as well. We got lost on Friday on our way to the cabin called the owner he answered right away and was so nice then gave us the number to the rental agency who answered on the second ring and they gave us step by step directions to the cabin to make sure we got there. We are world travelers and this experience has been by far one of the best ever.

Very pleased with the cabin. Upon arrival, we found the TV remote in the middle of the living room floor with the back missing and one battery missing. . I never found the back to the remote but I didn't move aby furniture to look under it. The TV has a bad cable connection cause one of the fittings needs to be replaced but was fine as long as you watched a DVD. Kind of displeased with TV. Also the toilet bowl brush was in the middle of bathroom floor and the toilet paper looked to be chewed a little. Maybe a small dog was there before us. There was plenty of pest crawling around but I understand cause it is in the mountains and woods but a little extermination wouldn't hurt. Overall...it was a very restful stay and that was what we was after. Between us we have 19 grand kids so the cabin was close enough to perfect for us. Thank yoy

Private Stay
This particular property is the last one of a long driveway with steep climb. If you are looking for privacy that is close to some fun things to do then this is for you. There is a micro brewery about a mile away in Chimney Rock, along with some great eateries in Chimney rock and Lake Lure. The house was a pleasant retreat to retire to in the evening and enjoy the quiet, and the hot tub. The only negative we saw was a rug or two that could use some vacuuming, but overall this was a pleasant place to stay.

This cabin is at the very top of the mtn (No fun to find in the dark/rain like we did). The reviews about a black bear being near by we can confirm are 100% true as it came up on the deck while we were watching tv at one point. I saw lots of reviews about cleanliness before we booked this place. All I can say is it was clean where it counts. Bed was nice and clean, shower, and the kitchen and floors were clean and the hot tub was definitely well sanitized! If dust and cobwebs bother you though, maybe pay twice as much and stay somewhere else. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for a weekend getaway to be. The location was great. Our cabin was very private but we were only a five minute drive down the road to a brewerey & winery. We will be back.

Just a perfect location. Plus I completely forgot the office/owner had sent me check-in instructions and the folks at the office were super understanding. Check-in and check-out were both easy. Also the balcony hot tub? Amazing. Thanks!
