The property is in a great location, beautiful grounds, authentic Mexican architecture and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely rent again!

Holiday getaway for adult children and parents to gather. Comfortable with lots of amenities. Cooking, food storage and water dispenser were great! Pool was a great temperature and the iguanas in the backyard kept us entertained!
Close to the beach, great restaurants, corner stores and bus stops to get to Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias. Lots of walking exploration to do near by. (Along the coast to Bucerias and the other way to some secret beaches -watch out for tides though).

This house is within walking distance to many excellent well priced restaurants. The pool is heated to a very relaxing temperature. The owners shared their contact info to be available on What’s App for assistance if we needed. We had no problems while we were there.

We had a great time. It's a lovely place with just about everything you could need in the small fishing village of La Cruz.
Couldn't keep the kids out of the pool, not that we wanted to. We also loved seeing the Iguanas wandering the yard and hanging out in the trees on the property.
We had a few minor hiccups, but Rick and Julieta attended to them very quickly and were quite helpful.
We'd certainly stay here again if we're returning to the area.

My guests and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Kasbah in La Cruz! The house was as described in the listing and Rick was very responsive to emails and answered all my questions prior to my arrival. He made arrangements for airport transfers, gave me recommendations for local restaurants and services (in house spa, in house chef Elizabeth, who was lovely and a great cook!), and was responsive to any problems or issues that came up. My guests and I spent a lot of time outside in the yard, hanging out by the pool. The pool man and gardener kept the pool and gardens looking great and were very discreet when they would come to do their work, but were very friendly when we wanted to chat with them.
The town of La Cruz is great, but it is rustic and small. I loved it, but guests should be aware of what the town offers, and doesn't offer, before deciding to stay there for any length of time. I was there for a month and did not have a car which worked out fine for me. My guests and I walked the town a lot, mostly going to the beach, and out for dinners and groceries. If I was staying longer, I would likely want access to a vehicle to make trips to other parts of the area. There is no bank in La Cruz but there are 2 ATMs (although I only found 1). English is spoken by some locals, but I spoke Spanish most of the time when I went out shopping or out to eat. It is important to note that I felt safe in La Cruz, even when I would go out alone. Would love to go back!!

My family and I booked the home for 10 days and sincerely enjoyed our stay! The property was awesome and pool was fabulous!

Delicious food to each within a 5 - 10 minute walk! The neighbors and the community were very welcoming and friendly.
Rick , the property manager went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. We will definitely be back!

We spent a month here and it was amazing!! So peaceful & relaxing. The house was clean, spacious, welcoming with a beautiful yard and a pool that was heavenly! The yard, pool and house are very well taken care of by friendly professionals. The area of La Cruz is a warm friendly piece of older Mexico with everything close at hand. The small restaurants, grocery stores, local establishments are fantastic for buying all your daily needs and meals out. The owner Rick, and property manager Julieta, are quick to respond and help in any way they can. We loved it so much that we booked the house for next year! Looking forward to returning to La Cruz!!

The house was dirty and falling apart !
Almost everything felt like weren't clean for a long time.
Even we had to wash all the towels because they were dirty and smelled.
Big disappointment !

House is beautiful. The back yard with the pool is like a tropical paradise. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool. Neighborhood is quiet. Plenty of places to eat nearby. House was exceptionally clean with all the amenities one would need. We will definitely be back. It was the perfect place to relax for a week. Host was great.

Everything on here is accurate. We love this area. From the restaurants in walking distance to meeting Chuck down the street and him being so accommodating with fishing and snorkeling. Just a nice time. The pool was great too!!! Thank you!!

The house is just a few blocks away from the central plaza in La CruZ and felt very safe. La Cruz is just charming-not too touristy & the residents were very welcoming. We were very sad to leave!

This house is perfect, especially for a family or a few friends. We absolutely loved the pool, it’s deep and warm, and in a beautiful yard. We walked the beach a few times but didn’t even bother going in the ocean because the pool was waiting for us (and some cute iguanas)! House is great and has everything needed plus more. Rick, the owner and Julieta, the property manager were both very responsive and helpful. They answered all our questions so quickly.
La Cruz is a great small village, very friendly people everywhere we went, delicious food at the restaurants and we even found live music and dancing. So fun

Spent 30 days living in paradise! I couldn’t have imagined how much I had missed not being in the village until I finally got back as travel opened up to Canadians. This was the perfect house and the pool and yard are beautiful. I’ve stayed in many properties over the last 8 years and this ranks up at the top for sure. It felt like I came home!

First of all, the property owner is amazing. He communicated with us almost daily, answering all of our questions and helping with everything we needed (we tested positive and had to get groceries etc.)
The house is wonderful. A nice big comfy couch, 3 bedrooms to spread out in, and most of all, a big backyard with a fantastic pool. A perfect place to relax! Just a couple of blocks to the towns plaza and several good restaurants. And very handy to have a washer and dryer!

Perfect family getaway
We came many times to Puerto Vallarta but this was our first family visit to La Cruz. The house is nicely decorated, spacious and very clean, the beds and living room are comfortable, the kitchen looked brand new. We loved spending time in the heated pool watching iguanas, listening to the birds and drinking margaritas on the inflatables, while kids were playing on the manicured grass.
Two of the bedrooms overlook a large sunny pool surrounded by coconut trees and lush garden, the gardener cut and sliced fresh coconuts for the kids … The third bedroom is larger but doesn’t overlook the pool. There was ample space for all of us to comfortably relax in the living room or by the pool after our days at the beach. Our host was friendly, attentive and responsive at all times. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and had other meals in town, Punta Mita and Sayuleta, there are also plenty of quality restaurants in the village, about 2 minute-walk. Our housekeeper did a great job making beds and cleaning. A very cozy and comfortable home with nice water features - hot tub with jets, outdoor oriental fountain and natural stone waterfall - that we enjoyed a lot. We loved our stay and we’ll surely come back.

This place is just disgusting. Dirty bed sheets with dirt and pubic hair, dirty bathrooms with more pubic hair, master bathroom didn't have a working faucet. The jets in the tub are rusted. Layers of dirt on shelves, and ceiling fans, light fixtures have dead bugs that probably have never been cleaned in yrs. Our VRBO checkin was at 3pm but were not handed over the place til 3:45. AC's did work had to have repair ppl over who left dirt everywhere. Their power was out all day Saturday because their power box wasn't grounded. Meaning no working AC, fridge, stove or pool. Kitchen cabinets were disgusting. THIS PLACE IS JUST DIRTY. Owner is aware and gaslighted the whole time and failed to refund. (they were provided with pics) We ended changing our flight to get out of this dump. Save your money and go down the street instead to Villa Magnolia. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED OF THIS DUMP!!!!!!!

Peaceful stay in a quiet town
Stayed here while my parents were visiting from out of town. I live in Sayulita which is a bit more lively so it was a beautiful stay in a quiet town. We really enjoyed the pool and bbq grill! The beach nearby was perfect for swimming! There was also a vegan ice cream store in town which we visited everyday!

Oasis in center of town
A great property in a great location in La Cruz. Rick is very good owner who promptly resolved any minor issues we had. His recommendation of Rosario to prepare some meals was most welcome and she did a great job. She also did a nice house clean up for us after completing the cooking and kitchen clean up. We would stay there again!

Fantastic property and location
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is wonderful. Bright, airy and open. The yard and pool are fantastic for a family and we spent hours out there enjoying it. If you like Mexico the way it used to be with quiet beaches, small towns with good ambience and a property that feels like home this is the place to be. I can’t recommend this more and we will be back
