We had a fantastic MT vacation and coming home at the end of each day to Candy Kitchen helped make it so. The house is literally stocked like your own home, completely comfortable and not a utensil, bedding or bath item missed. Very clean. The home is very close to the Two Medicine park entrance, but a good 1 hour ride (with construction) to the popular Going to the Sun Road entrance. That did not deter us from driving there 3 times, though it was that worth it. In fact, we felt better about it when we saw the back-log of cars entering the park from the West, versus the ease we had from the East. That is the only reason I put a 4 star for location. Thank you Colleen, it was a pleasure to meet you, hope to visit again someday.

6 of us stayed at the. Andy Kitchen as a base for exploring the wonders of the area and Glacier National Park. It was so comfortable and accommodating for our group. We had enough privacy and great space for together time. The home is very well equipped and maintained. All the beds were comfy and the view from the back porch is spectacular. Our host, Colleen had excellent communication and was the best. We hiked, kayaked, golfed, went fly fishing and took in everything we could in a week. What a gem.

Perfect base for our family of two parents and three teenagers to stay while we explored Glacier National Park. The house has everything we would have needed in our own home, which made this vacation so easy. For example, I wanted to pack sandwiches for the park. I was happy to find aluminum foil to wrap them in - I didn't need to buy that. I also appreciated that there were boxes of Kleenex in the bedrooms because I usually have to buy that when we stay at other VRBO properties. Our host Colleen provided a binder full of answers to any questions that might arise. It was so lovely to meet her and know she was available for any additional help if needed. Overall, if you want the comfort, ease, and space of staying in a home on your vacation, the Candy Kitchen was PERFECT! Helpful hint: the local market had some basics but there are two large grocery stores just a short drive to the town of Browning.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. The only glitch was contacting the property manager due to lack of cell phone service. Once we checked in and had Wi-Fi access that was no longer a problem. Great property in a great location

The location is perfect as we were there with family and friends to hike East Glacier and Many Glacier. The home was so cozy having everything you would need and plenty of room for both families. Kitchen was nice, beds were cozy, views were spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to hike East Glacier or just looking for a peaceful getaway. Lastly, Colleen was a great host. Close by and available, but not nosey or stopping by unannounced. She has been with this property for almost 30 years and clearly has a love for it! We would stay here again next time back to northern MT. Thanks for a great stay!

Candy kitchen is everything and more than our expectations. We had 9 adults and our 10 month old grandson. The living and sleeping arrangements are great. The setting and history of this home are outstanding. There is a very nice grocery store and excellent coffee shop and Mexican restaurant one mile away. Beautiful river and Mountain View’s top it all off!

This is a fantastic place to get away from daily life and launch into the mountains of Glacier. It is near the Two Medicine area and a very reasonable distance from Many Glacier and the Going to the Sun Road (distances are further in MT). After a day of hiking in the most spectacular scenery in North America, you can go back and completely relax in this lovely clean, comfortable, and well-appointed house. Our entire family of 9 (adults and adult children) enjoyed cooking together every night. What a pleasure!

Candy Kitchen was wonderful. As someone else wrote, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen was stocked better than my house, the beds very comfortable, and the house spacious. It was perfectly located to allow us day trips to Two Medicine (very close), St Marys, and Many Glacier areas. Colleen was the perfect Host!

What a great historic place! We had such a good time and Colleen was a fantastic host. Perfect base camp for all the fun in Glacier. It was great to have such nice accommodations after long days of hiking and fun in the park. The back porch is divine in the evenings.

The Candy Kitchen did not disappoint. This cozy and comfortable home was well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling out on the porch and making meals in the spacious kitchen. The house was super clean and well organized. Colleen was very communicative and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and it's manager Colleen . We have rented many houses over the years and this was by far the very best. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures on the website show. It is newly remodeled and clean, clean, clean. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fantastic. There's a large dining table and couches in the living room where our family of six could sit and spend time together. The backyard is like nothing we've seen before. We just sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air . We thought Colleen was the owner the way she cares for the house and her guests. There is nothing she didn't think of to have there including clean towels, soap, books, games etc. She also had a problem with the dishwasher that she couldn't repair before we arrived so she baked us a fresh pie . Colleens customer service was above and beyond. The house is perfectly located near many good hikes and activities. And as if everything wasn't perfect enough Colleen has an amazing cat that comes by to say hello and an amazing dog that greets you like you're old friends. We had an fantastic time visiting Glacier National Park but our whole family agrees that staying at the Candy Kitchen House and meeting Colleen enhanced our trip tremendously.

Our stay at the Candy Kitchen was perfect! Colleen the host was lovely and made us feel right at home. She walked us through the house and provided recommendations and insights that helped us plan our visit. The house is very close to the Glacier Lodge, just a short walk for information, meals, events and family activities. If you are not familiar with Glacier NP (and we weren't), East Glacier is a bit of a drive to get to hiking options and the Going To The Sun Road. Not a problem, but just a point of note. The town is small but has all the basics and a lot of local flavor. The house is close to the train station, could be walkable or rental car service is offered. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay--offering all the comforts of home.

Collen's personal touch with the review, booking, and attention to details makes this home a perfect spot for the 7 family members that vacationed in Glacier National Park. All parts of GNP were within 1 to 1 1/2 hrs from this location. Enjoyed Coleen's personal welcome and good bye.

Wow! The Candy Kitchen is treasure tucked into the east side of Glacier Park. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and the Candy Kitchen is far superior in comparison. Colleen, the property manager, is a delight and facilitates a perfect experience for your visit. We had 9 people staying here ranging in ages from 6-71. There was plenty of space for everyone and the yard surrounding the property was perfect for evening gathering. The kitchen is absolutely incredible here, and we had a blast cooking/baking as a family on a rainy afternoon—they really have thought of everything here. If you are looking to visit the east side, this is the perfect location for you. Glacier Park Lodge is located in the front yard of the Candy Kitchen and is a hub of activity for the park. My family all agreed that they hope to come back again.
