Have stayed at Ocean One several times. Great location. Unit nice but could use some tweaks: uncomfortable beds, dishwasher does not clean items and shower curtain rod and hooks in 3rd bathroom rusty.

Had a toilet issue, strange bumping at the water heater, closed pool for repair on Friday/Saturday, and found a random grape and toothbrush under furniture. All things considered, great location and beautiful condo.

Great stay and great location of property. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach, pool and coligny. There not downside was that the washing machine did not work. We submitted a message about it but did not hear back. Hope our message helps get it fixed for the next guest! Overall, very minor compared to the enjoyment we had.

A number of concerns about the process and the property.
1. As previously raised I was quoted a $ amount in Cdn currency but charged that amount in US currency. VRBO promised me a call back regarding this but they have yet to contact me. This was 2 weeks ago.
2. We waited until after 5 PM at which time I contacted the rental office about the availability of the unit. I was to have been texted as soon as it was available. At that point they told me the unit had been available for some time and gave me the code over the phone.
3. Major construction occurring on the balconies on the pool side of the building. We were not informed of this until after our final payment was processed. I'm sure this work was planned months in advance but we were not advised. It was both noisy and dusty all week.
4. Unit was large and well laid out, and worked well for our family. Of note the ice maker was broken and leaked, the dishwasher doesn't work well, and the living room furniture is very tired and needs replacement.
Overall given the price of the unit we were disappointed and felt it was not good value.

The condo unit 402 was great. If we had know the scheduled construction projects were underway we would have stayed elsewhere. Although we were given a discount to switch from our original unit, 402 did not have an ocean view. That was undesirable.

It was decent and very roomy and comfortable. Maybe needs some new couches in the future and the washing machine definitely needs cleaned (front loaders gather mold quickly) but we enjoyed our stay!

This is our third year staying by Coligny Beach, and this was a great condo for my family of 4 plus both sets of grand parents. Pool was great, being beach side was wonderful, and the condo was well appointed. Only potential downside was the mattresses were not the most comfortable.

Great location
Exterior/grounds where nice and clean. The unit itself was moderately clean. It could have used a good deep clean, as well as some overall maintenance. This was a 30th anniversary gift trip. Overall we had a good time and our stay was pleasant.

Great Space close to the Beach & Coligny
Unit was clean & spacious. Well represented in the photos and description. Property Manager was easy to work with and the space & layout of the unit suited our large family well. We will be back!

Very nice and a great location. Couldn’t find anything wrong except that there was no potholder or over mitt in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Icebreaker tournament
What a wonderful place to stay. Was as good as advertised. Only one issue would be if we could check in without stopping into the office. Besides that it was great. Would rent and recommend this place for sure.

We were very satisfied with our recent stay in Ocean One #402. The condo location is amazing.. walking distance to everything, and right on the beach! The grounds were lovely, and everything very clean around the complex. The pool is fantastic - cleaned every morning. And the beach is literally steps away. So great!! There is a fantastic park and playground across the street, lots of bike racks if you plan to rent bikes, and the Coligny shopping center is just an easy walk away.
The unit itself is a vacation rental, so is understandably a bit worn. It had everything you need for a family, though. Even a CrockPot! We had lots of room to spread out, the kids enjoyed having a room with twin beds. There are books and board games on the shelves to use, ample kitchen goods, and plenty of towels / linens. We even noticed beach toys in a closet, though didn't use them. And there were baby toys / a pack-n-play supplied, which was a HUGE help for our little guy.
The *only* downside with Unit 402 is that it is an end unit, and overlooks the Tiki Bar next door. Because Ocean One has all open air walkways and staircases, sound really travels. The walls and windows are thin, so we heard loud music pretty much consistently. The baby was in the smaller blue room with two twins.. it happens to be closest to the outer walkway, and is the absolute loudest. He managed to sleep through it, but something to consider if you have light sleepers.
The rental company was incredible to work with. Very helpful, friendly staff. Super responsive and very great communication.
We would definitely stay again!

Loved the proximity to the beach, shops and outdoor bar next door. Condo was fair, could do with some updating. Missing some kitchen items - no toaster (odd!), needs steak knives and a knife sharpener. All knives super dull (dangerous). Ocean view would have been great, we were staring at the parking lot although behind a beautiful tree.

For the most part this is a great Condo. We had a few issues...one of the hinges to the closet in the King BR near dining table is stripped out. We tightened but it really needs to be fixed. Unit needs a broom. Coffee pot is adequate but doesn’t get very hot. Balcony furniture is very old with rusty tables. Balconies need to be cleaned thoroughly. Also unit could stand a very good cleaning all over, especially behind chairs, behind TV in Living Room (where something had spilled and dried on the wall) and under beds. There was an empty Gatorade container left under one of the beds from a previous guest. We love the spaciousness and location of this unit but want to bring these issues to your attention.

We love Ocean One -- been coming to Hilton Head for a few generations now. We had a great time staying here. Check in and check out was a piece of cake. Very surprised with how big the unit actually ended up being and the location right there in the middle of South Forest Beach is as prime as it gets. Three different balconies (each of the king bedrooms and the main living room - though this unit doesn't face the ocean) and all the recent updates to the kitchen and bathrooms were excellent. Plenty of supplies from kitchen utensils to blankets to books. The twin beds are in desperate need of an upgrade though - old and loud frames and not terribly comfortable mattresses. Some of the dishes weren't fully cleaned either - a measuring cup that looked like it hadn't even been rinsed out somehow made it's way back into the cabinet. Our complaints were much smaller than the positive aspects of this unit though -- highly recommend.
