We rent a home every year for our family Christmas weekend. This home was just perfect. Lots of details, quality, and amenities that fit every need. From newer, fun games to a decorated home for the holidays, plenty of towels, and lots of places to sit and gather. A gem.

This house was wonderful for our girl's get away weekend. We have been doing these weekends for about 25 years.
Loved the space in this house, the yard and porch are great. Right across the street is a walking path to town.
We did have a problem with the refrigerator, but owner addressed it right away. Already looked to see if it's available for us next year and sadly it is not. But would definitely stay here again sometime.

We loved the property. It was perfect for the size of our group. It was very lovely and spacious. It had a very well stocked kitchen. We loved the outside deck. It has many amenities, including washing facilities, games, hot tub, grill. We were very pleased. The only problem was that the refrigerator wasn’t working. But we could use the downstairs refrigerator. We liked it so much, we’ve scheduled it for a week next year.

The property was magnificent, we had numerous family and friends in Saugatuck to celebrate our sons wedding. We enjoyed lifelong memories with family and friends with use of fire pit, hot tub, the home itself, back deck and yard games. We have been in love with the area for years and years and our looking forward to coming back. Thank you to Greg for sharing such an amazing space. He is also quick to reply if help is needed.

Heartland House was the perfect home away from home! We were a group of 8 ladies who have known each other for over 25 years, and needed a large home for our 4 day getaway. This house delivered on all fronts. Well stocked kitchen, large dining room table, comfortable living room, plenty of bedrooms, outdoor living spaces and a hot tub. We didn’t use the downstairs family room, but the 3rd bathroom downstairs came in handy. There’s also a laundry room which was helpful for drying our beach towels that we used for the hot tub. Gary was so prompt and helpful in his communication. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our whole family stayed at this property We ranged from 2 weeks old to 70 years old. The home was beautiful with amazing furnishings. The host was very responsive to any questions and responded within about 5 minutes. We felt this home offered everything we needed

We had the best Thanksgiving weekend at Heartland House! As soon as we walked in, we felt the care and warmth that has gone into making it a home away from home. Every room is decorate with care and style that is both eclectic and classic. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving meal and cook several other meals for our group of seven in the well-equipped kitchen. And we could all sit as a family at the dining table to enjoy the time together. Everyone had a favorite cozy spot, most of us enjoyed a dip in the hot tub, and we all had fun walking into town or around the surrounding country roads. Best holiday ever for our blended family, and we all agree that we cannot wait to come back. Thanks, Gary!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Had everything we hoped and more. Superb garden for lawn games, hot tub. So many seating areas, decks etc . Great firepit for smores.

Wonderful place for a multiple family vacation
We spent 3 nights here with family and it was perfect! The seclusion of the property was nice for the kids to play without disturbing neighbors. This house was equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need to cook! So many great games, the fire pit was a huge hit. The owner was quick to respond if we needed anything. I could go on. But if we are ever back in this area, we will be staying here again!

Wonderful Outdoor Space
The Heartland House did not disappoint! The outdoor space is beautiful and there are so many places to enjoy such as the hottub, firepit and the front porch. The house is spacious and the lower level is a bonus space. The kitchen is so well equiped and modern.

Stay here! You will love it!
My family of 10 enjoyed our stay at Heartland House so very much. Gary has done an outstanding job setting the home up for visitors! We went from making dinner in the well equipped kitchen to the firepit for s’mores to the hot tub! The house is stocked with games for indoors and outdoors; plenty of movies to choose from also. There’s a miniature golf course walking distance.
The property has stunning landscaping and several places to gather inside and outside. And for an extra bonus: a Maytag washer and dryer for your use!
If you are considering booking this property don’t hesitate! We will book again!
There’s so much to do in the area also, beach, Hiking mount Baldy, dune ride, boat rentals, shopping and fabulous restaurants! Best vacay ever!

This is a spacious, historic home that has a lot of charm to it! The patio and deck are lovely and there are plenty of bedrooms and places to hang out for a big group. The owner was also extremely responsive to any questions i had. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed walks, the outdoor fire pit for s’mores and the lovely downstairs family room for games with the kids and football holiday bowl games. Rooms enough for everyone. Lovely yard and great parking. We will return again and would expect to enjoy this lovely home in any season. Gary is a great host and answered our questions and made the trip a pleasure.

We had a wonderful stay, beautiful home. There were 10 women that stayed for the weekend and we traveled to 7 wineries in the area. Love the little town too. Only thing was there was a little house right next to the big house with someone living there, she did not bother us, but it would have been nice to know that she was that close.

If Diane Keaton had greeted me with a warm hug and Steve Martin was just out back grilling, I would not have been a bit surprised. The decor in the house was so lovely and quaint. The impeccably decorated kitchen was fully stocked with whatever you might need to cook any meal. In addition, there were yard games and board games galore, and enough places throughout the property to enjoy all of them. We used both the bonfire pit and the fireplace to just really solidify the fall aesthetic that the property offered. The rooms were spacious without sacrificing any cozy vibes, and the entire property was so wholesome we felt almost hedonistic when we decided to take a dip in the wonderful hot tub. The booking, arrival, and check out process were simple and easy. The Heartland House will likely meet any need you and your group has for your getaway.

Heartland House was just the perfect vacation house for our family. The house easily fit our family of 8 adults and 2 kids.The fire pit is fantastic, as well as the outdoor jacuzzi. The bike path into town is just across the street and a short 5 minute bike ride. We had a wonderful time.
