The house is nice. The bed is comfortable. Parking was easy. We were able to park on the street in front of the house most of the time (no meters). The weather was nice and we enjoy walking so we were able to walk to most restaurants. If it had been hotter, we would have driven more. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Gem on Jones and appreciated the helpful information that both Lucky Savannah and the owners provided. The info about operating the tv, restaurants, etc. was a nice extra touch. Check in was simple! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to find parking right outside the door and were happy to not have to pay a meter. The only suggestion I would make is to add additional lighting in the bathroom.

The unit was perfect and as advertised. Lucky Savannah staff was incredibly responsive and so helpful. The only issue we had was the noise level with the renters above us who had minor children, running around. Lucky Savannah assisted us with communicating with them. They also advised to contact them directly for future reservations, since they can provide more information about their rentals and if families are renting in the area. Of course they don’t violate privacy, but can provide general information which VRBO may not. The location of this unit was perfect. I don’t recommend Old Town Trolley, which is highly recommended. Their trolleys were always filled to capacity and the wait times were anywhere between 30-50 minutes, waiting on the next one, despite their advertised 15 minutes. Consider other trolley companies which appeared more accessible with open seats. Other than that, the trip was great.

I enjoyed the location and layout of this rental, but when you enter, you are immediately hit by the smell of mold. It wasn’t until I decided to do laundry that I figured out what was causing the smell. Once the owners take care of this issue, it would be a 5 star rating for me.

The location is perfect for walking to everything in Historical Savannah. The house is a real find. Spacious for two (or four could easily stay). The bathroom is very small. Just take shifts to use. Washer and dryer were very helpful. (Bring own soap.) Free parking on street. Easy to access. Communication was excellent. Thank you Lucky Savannah. Overall a clean, quiet neighborhood on the prettiest street.

This gem was a perfect couples apartment. We spent two days walking the historic distric from the riverfront to Forsyth Park. We enjoyed the courtyard in the evening and the kitchen had the needed pans and dishes for making breakfast.I appreciated the detailed listing of what was provided. Parking was not a problem. We only moved our vehicle for street sweeping. According to a passing tour this is the most beautiful street in the historic district. I think I would have to agree!

In town for work and stayed in this condo/apartment located on beautiful Jones Street. Plenty comfortable for two adults. Well situated to walk toward the river or to Forsyth Park. About a 15 minute walk to the river with plenty of great stops in between. Nearest cluster of restaurants about 6-7 minute walk. Low House is just around the corner. Enjoyed being in the historic district with beautiful squares all around but not right in the hustle and bustle of Bay/River Street area. Something to be said for quite evenings. The property courtyard provides a nice spot for outdoor sitting/eating. We ordered from Clary's and sat in the courtyard - sure beat the long line to sit with a crowd on the sidewalk at the restaurant. At times, the upstairs renters could be a little loud but usually in small increments. Free street parking generally available on same block. Overall, great place and stay and would definitely stay again if available next time in town.

This is a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the lovely city of Savannah. It's location is within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and shopping. We walked everywhere to enjoy the historical sites, squares, and parks. The rental is comfortable, clean, and fully furnished.

This was a great VRBO with 3 exceptions: 1) this is a ground level unit so you can hear the guests upstairs. It’s quite noisy even when they are just walking around.
2) the supplies were very limited. We stayed for 10 days and had 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 tiny bars of soap (smallest hotel size) no liquid hand soap, one packet of laundry soap, no dryer sheets, the kitchen utensils were very limited and 2 dishwashing tablets etc. The property manager needs to leave supplies based on how long people are going to stay.
3) although the owner’s welcome booklet points this out, there is a step up to the bedroom, a step up to the alcove and a step down into the unit at the front door. You have to be very vigilant about this! The wood floors blend right into the step.
On the positive side:
1) great location for walking anywhere in the historic district and downtown.
2) the bed was comfortable
3) the TV and appliances work great
4) Lucky Savannah was very responsive to issues. Ours was that the bathtub wouldn’t drain well so we ended up with water up to our mid calves.

My wife stayed at the location on on E Jones street. It was more than we expected. Perfect location. Excellent service. The property team were very responsive, and a delight to work with all through our trip. It was exceptional experience.

Absolutely loved staying here. Clean and spacious. Love the kitchen decor. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Coffee in the courtyard you could imagine what it might have been like to live in the Victorian era.

Nice and clean house with a great location. Good communication from the owners. The only down fall was the parking. On the description they said they have never had trouble parking but we had quite a bit of trouble finding parking 2 times. Most of the metered spots were taken. One night we were unable to find street parking anywhere within a 1 mile radius. I hope had to park in a garage and walk 20 minutes back to the rental after looking for a spot for 50+ minutes. The second time we had trouble parking we finally found a spot after 20 minutes of looking at the end of Jones Street (7-10 min walk). These were not even on weekend nights. Other then those two instances, it was a great place!

The property is in a beautiful area. It is great for walking and close to so many sites of interest and food options. The bed was so comfortable, everything anyone might need is provided. The apartment is very cozy and nicely decorated. The only recommendation I have is, read the street sweeping signs closely. It was storming when I came in, and I completely forgot to go back out and move my car. I received a nice love note on my windshield the next morning. . 🙄 I will definitely stay here again!

OVERALL, THE GEM ON JONES WAS A NICE PLACE. THE LOCATION IS WONDERFUL, CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPED. THE ONLY SUGGESTION WE HAVE IS THAT THE COUCH, LOVESEAT AND THROW PILLOWS ARE IN NEED OF STEAM CLEANING. First, the booking process was so great. I had accidentally booked a different rental, and contacted Lucky Savannah just to see if it would be possible to change my reservation. They changed it for me right away with zero hassle. The cost was split into 2 payments, with plenty of reminders for when it was due. The app was extremely helpful, putting all the information we needed right at our fingertips. We found lots of great suggestions and helpful links in the app that we took advantage of during our stay in Savannah. The Jones Street location was so perfect. The entire street is gorgeous, with beautiful historic homes. Clary's Cafe is a great breakfast spot just across the street. Everything we wanted to do, see, and almost everything we wanted to eat in Savannah was within walking distance. Our rental was a bigger space than I thought it would be, and came well equipped. Our family of 4 was very well accommodated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We rented some baby equipment from Baby's Away, and I was so happy to learn that they have a great working relationship, so the crib we rented was already in our rental before we arrived, and we were able to leave it there after check out to be picked up. This was seriously the easiest, most relaxing, laid back vacation rental experience I've ever had. Cannot recommend enough!
