Ici, vous pourrez profiter d'eaux cristallines, de couchers de soleil spectaculaires et de l'incroyable paysage de montagne que le lac Almanor a à offrir depuis son quai privé (mai-octobre) ou son grand pont. Rassemblez-vous autour du foyer au propane pour une bonne conversation. Un barbecue au propane se trouve sur le pont latéral pour les grillades.
Le niveau principal de la maison a une grande salle spacieuse avec un canapé-lit, une cheminée à bois et une télévision. Préparez vos repas préférés dans la cuisine entièrement équipée et rassemblez-vous autour de la grande table à manger. Il y a une chambre avec un lit queen, une chambre avec un lit double et un lit superposé et une salle de bain complète. La salle de jeux dispose d'un canapé-lit avec portes françaises pouvant servir de chambre supplémentaire.

Nice big well stocked home with a beautiful view, lake access and private dock. We spent the weekend fishing and paddling around the lake, catching some afternoon games, bbqing steaks, and telling tall tales on the big deck at the end of the day. Jerry and Connie were great hosts and easy to work with.

We had an awesome time while at Lake Almanor! The house was just beautiful inside and out with a view that you can’t stop looking at. Very accommodating for our boat as the boat launch was just minutes away and the safety of being in the country club. Really liked all the “little “ extras like the foil, Saran Wrap , multiple coffee pots and etc in the kitchen.
We will be making Lake Almanor a yearly destination!

Connie and Gerry have a wonderful house and were very good at communication and very nice hosts. I'd say the only negative aspects to the house are the 180 some steps down to the dock but we solved that pretty easily by having one or two people take the boat over to the ramp and everybody else drive over there with the coolers and folks going out on the boat. We were hoping for some nicer mattresses but after all it is a vacation cabin and all in all we had a wonderful time!

We had the most wonderful stay at Evan's Heaven! It was the perfect mix of new and old giving it that homey cabin feel. The hosts make it so comfortable with all the amenities. They are also very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Our kids had a blast jumping in and swimming off the dock, and there was a buoy for our boat. The deck was also a favorite with a beautiful lake view and firepit. It is a long way up a flight of stairs from the dock to the house which is great if you are looking for some exercise...not so great if you have bad knees. We can't wait to stay here again.

This place was absolutely amazing. Wow. The owners were wonderful and very easy to talk to. The house was perfect for our 2 families that included kids ranging from babies to 7 yr olds. The high chair and pack n play were super helpful.

Beautiful house. Sat and watched the lake every morning with my coffee. My granddaughters (10,8,3 years) we excited to see all the games and toys. Used BBQ and fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Exciting mountain weather. Sun,rain hail,thunder, lightning and earthquake. We enjoyed it all.

Stayed at property with four guys who went to school together 50 years ago. Our primary purpose was to play golf at Bailey Creek Golf Course, Lake Almanor Country Club and Lake Almanor West golf courses. Also rented a patio boat one morning to tour the Lake from the water. Because of time of year (water temp 68 degrees) we did not use the floating dock nor go swimming. Beautiful view of the Lake from the deck of the house. The home is well appointed with everything needed. There are 2 bedrooms suitable for adults and a den with a fold out couch downstairs and one bathroom downstairs. There is a master bedroom with bath upstairs as well as a child's room with a small bed not suitable for an adult. There is also a very large television downstairs with Roku streaming. Bring your sign in information and passwords to access HBO, Prime Video, etc. The home is very well maintained and was spotlessly clean upon our arrival.

We rented this home for our annual girls’ trip and it is now one of our favorite VRBOs. The home is beautiful, and the view is beautiful. All the furniture was clean, high quality and really comfortable and the home was well stocked with everything we needed . We had a great time. We did have one issue that came up, but the owners were very communicative and helpful. Five stars!

This home was absolutely amazing and the views were stunning! We had the best time celebrating the New Year! Home was well equipped with almost everything you could think of and extremely clean! Connie and Jerry were so easy to communicate with and made the whole trip so much less stressful. We will definitely be booking this home again for future trips! If you are looking for a cozy getaway, this is definitely the place!

Evan’s Heaven was a winter wonderland and truly heaven on Earth! We spent 5 incredible days filled with tons of sledding, games, movies, and a million smiles. Thank you SO much Connie and Jay. We will definitely be back!

Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the Evans home and our trip was spectacular. The house felt like a home away from home - it was decorated for the holidays and every detail was thought of. Our family of 9 was extremely comfortable - with plenty of space to sleep and hang out after returning from our cold walks and fishing adventures. We hope to stay again. Amazing! This place was incredible! Looking out at lake was so relaxing! There were so many games and toys for every age. We had our six grandchildren and there were games for every age. The only rule we had was to put one away before starting next game. The home has wood walls, impeccable clean, Perfect for everyone. We enjoyed the sledding, snow angels and hiking. We want to come back to enjoy the kayaks and other water toys!

Wonderful stay at Evans Heaven!
Great cabin with deck and private dock. Family friendly, fun toy room! Master is spacious and decor is fun throughout! Upper level gets warm, no AC. Enjoyed this cabin so much!!

Wonderful lakefront cabin our family loved!
Our family had the best vacation at the Evan’s Heaven cabin!! We come to Almanor every year from Paradise to celebrate the kids being out of school for summer. The owners were simple to communicate with and have a well-stocked, beautiful home! The view was stellar!! It was our first time staying in a waterfront cabin and now it will be hard to go back. My boys (10 & 12) fished off the dock and loved using the kayak. They also had a wonderful time exploring on the property and collecting rocks. We love cooking and sharing meals and the kitchen had everything we needed, including plenty of entertaining dishes & wine glasses. :) The game room was stocked with tons of games, cards, darts & even a CD/boombox radio which my boys had a ton of fun with (it’s the little things). We took family bike rides around the community and it is beautiful. The fire table is perfect for making memories and s’mores. The cabin itself is full of cute decor and made us feel so welcome and at home. We used both Rec Area 1 and Rec area 2 for beach days and brought our stand up paddle boards. We would absolutely stay here again!!

This is a beautiful house on a beautiful lake, the house was clean, owner was friendly and responsive, but we had a booking for 9 people for 4 nights and there were not nearly enough paper towels, toilet paper, or napkins for that amount of people for that amount of time. We ran out of paper towels and napkins on the second day and toilet paper on the third night. It was a pain because it was winter and there was tons of snow so going the 20ish minute drive into town to pick up those everyday items was a real drag (chains required). If we'd only known ahead of time that it does not come stocked with those basic consumables we would have brought them in the first place. I messaged the owner on our second day when the towels were running out to ask where the refills were and was told they only provide the one roll (was not even a full roll) of paper towels and one napkin dispenser of napkins; at that time I didn't realize there was only 4 rolls of toilet paper (plus the two on the dispenser) so we went out for paper towels and napkins only to have to go back out for toilet paper; a total of about 2 hours driving and shopping time. I would have gladly paid a few more dollars to have the convenience of well stocked paper goods, or at the very least a fair warning to bring our own. So here's your warning - bring your own! Still a great rental and our family of 9 had a great time in the snow with a beautiful view, but that was super inconvenient (and dare I say rather cheap of the owners).

Truly Heaven
Connie and Jerry’s home was a magical stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home and the “little details,” like holiday lights, cabin feel, and cozy blankets were so lovely. Our family enjoyed spending time together admiring the stunning lake views from the cozy living room and large back deck. Connie and Jerry were fabulous hosts, and even sent us info about local events. At their suggestion, we went to Merchant’s Night on Main Street in Chester nearby, where we explored adorable local boutiques while sipping hot cocoa and sang holiday music by the bonfire! It was holiday magic and I can’t imagine a more special place for our family to spend Thanksgiving. Now we truly understand why they call this home “Evan’s Heaven!”

Amazing place, hosted by really lovely people. We were there late Fall and got to experience a bit of it all - sunny kayak rides and cozy snowy mornings. Connie and Jerry go far out of their way to make the stay welcoming, and their home is just beautiful. Every thing you could think of needing is provided.
