This studio was the perfect accommodation while attending a wedding in downtown St. Augustine. Great for a party of 1 or 2 people. Easy walking distance to downtown’s main attractions. Parking is a challenge in the area. Walking and ubering are the best ways to get around.

This was an amazing location. Perfect to all the local in town craze as well and being placed right next door to my husband’s favorite restaurant and he loved it ! Great views! Loved being able to just walk around and quickly find our stay super close ! Will book again !

This studio apartment was absolutely perfect for my boyfriend and me. Each process was super detailed and easy, from checking in, to parking, to checking out. Our favorite part of this location was the proximity to everything. We literally parked the car in the garage on day 1 and didn’t have to go back until our departure. The studio apartment was super clean and organized making it really was to feel comfortable and at “home”. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in walking distance to all that St Augustine has to offer.

We were looking to overnight (2) on our way to Vero beach. We usually stay at traditional hotels. Due to the recent exorbitant increase in hotel pricing, we decided to give Vrbo a try. This was a great choice. The online description of the “hide away” was “spot on”. I printed the “keys to check in” for easy reference. Our host was extremely accurate in directions for entering, unloading, and parking. Thanks for a wonderful stay .

The swipe card from the hideaway gets you in and out of the garage as many times as you like !! Highly recommend for 1 or 2 people !

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Hideaway for 2 nights. Free parking in the parking garage which is just a short walk from the apartment. We parked there and didnt need the car again until we checked out. The location is great and everything is within walking distance. There was a slight issue getting into the apt which wasn't Joe's fault (housekeeper locked the bottom lock), however he responded immediately and was there in 10 mins with the key. We understand things happen and the response time was amazing. Overall our stay was great and would stay again, and we definitely recommend!!

I needed a room to stay for a retirement ceremony held at the Saint Francis Barracks. This rental was located very close, and also near several very highly rated restaurants. Although I was concerned about the upcoming hurricane, the property manager stayed in close contact with me, and I was able to keep the rental and attend the ceremony due to the constant contact and updates. the room had everything I needed for my stay, and was very comfortable, safe and well-maintained. If you’re staying in old town Saint Augustine and need a room for one or two persons, this is the ideal rental. I would definitely use this rental again, if returning to Saint Augustine.

We stayed in the hideaway for my 35th birthday weekend! The location is absolutely perfect and you can easily walk to all of the landmarks St Augustine has to offer. There is a great coffee shop right next door that we went to every morning. Just a block away from St George St, which is where we spent most of our day exploring all of the shops! Just a 5 min walk away from the fort as well. The room was perfect for a couple! It was very clean and had a ton of amenities. The owner gives very detailed instructions on the property as well as parking. Other reviews mention parking…we ended up just paying the $25/day to park right outside of the door because the free parking garage is quite a walk back and our mind was more at ease having our car within earshot at night if anything were to happen to it. We will definitely be back!

This property was located in the middle of everything. Short walk to shops, food, and the parking garage. Short drive over to all of the beaches. Definitely only for short term stays but was everything we needed(and more) for a short 5 day vacation.

You are literally steps away from all old historic St. Augustine. It’s amazing. I would suggest a golf cart & riverboat tour to tell you all about it then walk to all of the places. The studio was plenty big enough for my husband and I. Big shower, comfy bed, ac & fan kept temp great and ambient noise so we didn’t hear outside noise. We even enjoyed sitting on the front porch and met the front neighbor who knew the son & part owner of all the units. It had plenty of coffee but no tea. Could do some work in the back area by this unit. Joe was very easy to get ahold of and let us enter by 2! Which was great. Free parking HUGE plus. Just follow the directions and you are golden. All in all HIGHLY recommend 😊👏

An amazimg location. You literally don't need a vehicle. And the owner was kind enough to bring us towels. It was perfect!

Pros were the LOCATION! Being in walking distance and having a pass to the parking garage was prime! The place itself was well suited for two people, with a full size fridge/freezer and walk in shower! The cons would be more bath towels, beach towels. Another con is was the WiFi (little to no signal for Xfinity and AT&T cellular members) however, there are coffee shops nearby with wifi.

Excellent access to the historic district. Municipal free parking was only a short 5 min walk.

We loved being in the middle of the historic district! The bathroom walls do not go to the ceiling, so all the sounds carry to the rest of the apartment. It is well worth the money to be so close to everything!

The owner was very helpful to us. We left something behind and he shipped it right away back to us. Also a very clean environment walkable convenient definitely would stay there again.

The good: The owner communicated throughout the process. From booking until checkout. He cares about your stay and uses a housekeeping service to clean after each stay. We were in the studio which is small but great for 2 people and it’s a nice use of space. The kitchen (full) and bathroom (very small) are separate from the bedroom. But the wall doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling so you’ll hear bathroom noise. The location is GREAT! Walkable to everything!! A very safe location even late at night. Free parking was a bonus. The bed was comfortable, but I wish there was a comforter instead of a thin blanket. It needs an update-very out dated. The not so good: Noise. We were awakened at 6am by a garbage truck driver who sat across the street for an hour with his very loud truck running and with the hydraulics kicking in every 20 seconds. After he left an 18 wheeler pulled onto the street to unload goods for a restaurant. You’re in the heart of downtown so that’s going to happen but it was annoying. You can hear the people upstairs walking around the balcony that is directly over the studio. The parking is free in the garage. However the garage is more like 8-10 blocks away. 10 minute walk. We used it because we didn’t want to pay the $20 a day parking which is right outside your door. You’re going to walk everywhere anyway so park in the garage and leave the car there throughout your stay. Overall, I would recommend this property.

The location was perfect and walking distance to everything. Literally a block over to the main strip. The host was responsive immediately when I called and was able to accommodate early check in. Definitely will stay here again if I come back

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I as a little getaway after our wedding. We wanted a spot easily walkable to bars and restaurants and this place delivered! The room itself did have thinner walls so wouldn't recommend this for anyone other than a couple or very close friends. Would absolutely stay here again, and hope to!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the location. We were in walking distance of everything we needed. We flew in that morning and we had to be somewhere in the afternoon; Joe was more than helpful with an early check-in to accommodate us. Whenever we're in St. Augustine we will be staying again & will be recommending to anyone! Thanks Joe!
