A good experience

House was decent and clean. Pool area was not the cleanest. No issues while there. Longer walk to the beach than expected.

It was a lovely home and area. We had a great time relaxing by the pool and enjoying the beach.

Property worked out great for our group of 13. Plenty of room. Pool and hot tub helped entertain the kids while not at the beach. Was cleaned up to expectations, was able to get in more than an hour early. Only issue was lack of provided towels, not enough for our group.

House had everything you needed. Pool and hot tub were a highlight. Also had corn hole, beach chairs, and plenty of accessories through out the house. Great location within walking distance to beach and 5 minute drive to grocery store.

property has a great location. added bonus that linen is included. house interior needs a good cleaning and updating but it is OK. Pool deck has beach buckets full of cigar butts and buckets of used charcoal ash. just over all dirty. area where bikes and beach chairs are kept same thing, dirty. a lot of money to rent but poor up keep. even the old reviews say the same thing, poor up keep. we were late renting so we didnt have a lot of choices. Would not rent this place again.

Ocean Sands was a great place to have our family vacation. The amenities were as listed. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc. The upper level had lots of space for family gatherings and meals! The pool and hot tub were clean and very nice!

The house had a well equipped kitchen and there were many handy items to add to our enjoyment like bikes/carts/beach chairs etc. They were well used but made it so we didn't have to rent, so that was nice. I do wish the trees were cut away from the volleyball court. It was an attractive feature for our group but went unused as a result. Bathmats would also have been appreciated along with the towel and linens provided. Quick walk to the beach and short drive from everything. Nice place overall for our group.

It was easy to rent.

There was plenty of space for the 12 of us to spread out. We utilized the pool, hot tub and pool table daily. Unfortunately the basketball hoop was broken and tree branches covered part of the sand volleyball court when we arrived, so neither was usable. The wagon, cart and beach chairs were great for our days at the beach. Shopping, restaurants and activities were only a 5 minute drive. The carpets and bedspreads need a good cleaning otherwise everything was great. The outside decks and seating made it nice to enjoy the sunrise, read a book or spend time together. We thoroughly enjoyed the Lighthouse bagels.

We had a blast wish we would have stayed longer

Prior renters didn’t clean grill, left shrimp shells in grill. Also, fridge downstairs had shrimp juice which we cleaned out with bleach. They also left butt buckets filled with cigarette butts. We are non-smokers. Inside everything was perfect.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All-in-all it was a fabulous week. The only issue we really had was with the pool maintenance guy and his attitude. Tried to explain that the pool looked foggy since we arrived, but he would not listen. The pool did seem to leave a trace of something on the skin to where you would want to shower right after, but was not bad enough to ruin the fun for the week.

Great beach house. Lots of fun things to do (pool, tiki bar, volley ball court, pool table, lots of toys!). Short walk to the beach. Cleaning crew could have done a little better of a job but not too bad.

The TV's in the house are old and should be replaced. The mail TV in the living area went dead the final 2 days of our stay and maintenance could not figure out why. My family and I enjoyed our stay and were really happy with the condition and location of the house. It's a 5 min walk to the beach and a mile away from stores. When we arrived we were very satisfied with the condition of inside the house. It was very clean and well stocked, especially the kitchen. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably fit us all which was a huge plus. We did encounter some issues with the TV's...too many remotes and some TV's didn't even get a signal, maybe it was user error..but between 6 adults we found it very difficult. The outside of the house needed a little help. In the areas around the front and side doors and pool area there were A LOT of spiderwebs and bugs. My boyfriend had to spend about 20 minutes hosing it down so we felt comfortable going in and out. Not a make or break scenario, but something that you don't want to have to do on vacation. The pool and hot tub were a big hit, and we enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch. Overall, we would definitely recommend Beach Dreams, it's clean and spacious and you cannot beat the location. As I mentioned above, the condistion of outside the house is the only reason we would give it 4/5 stars.

The outside of the house is filthy. It needs to be power washed and repainted. The numerous rusty, worn out bikes need to be removed. It’s very cluttered and there are bugs stuck all over the house. No wonder the owner didn’t post a picture of the front of the house!
The inside was filthy. It was obvious the cleaning crew didn’t do much more than change linens and empty trash cans. We called the property management company and thankfully they sent someone out to reclean. Afterwards, it still wasn’t clean by any stretch of the imagination, but I felt bad asking one girl to reclean the entire house by herself, when it wasn’t her job to do so in the first place (owner utilizes a private company to clean).
There were bugs squished everywhere on the inside walls.
There was mold by the doors in two bedrooms as well as on some of the air vents. The air filters were disgusting.
There is too much clutter in the kitchen. There are tons of dishes, glasses, pots and pans, but cabinets were overflowing with stuff and there was nowhere to store food. The clutter made it very difficult to find what was needed. The owner needs to clean out the kitchen – there is no need for 30+ place settings, etc.

The property management team was very accommodating. They sent someone out to reclean and had maintenance come change air filters, clean bugs off walls, replace nasty air vents, and clean up the mold. They also bought a new coffee maker to replace the disgusting one and brought us clean, unstained sheets.
