The location is terrific with close proximity to several beaches and downtown Edgartown. The house is a wonderful oasis with the heated pool ensuring a great visit no matter what. Upon arrival Craig met us and walked us through all the amenities and answered questions. The house provided ample room for ourselves and our guests. We had a terrific time.

This was a beautiful property! Perfectly located within minutes of Edgartown. The home has comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a nice sized side yard with heated pool. My family enjoyed staying at the house and exploring Martha’s Vineyard.

The house is amazing, and is perfectly situated between Edgartown and South Beach. An easy 10 min cycle to both locations. We loved our stay, and will definitely be back! Thanks Steve.

We are return visitors to properties owned by this propery owner but this was our first stay at this particular home. What a joy! Perfect location to the beach and to downtown, we rode bikes everywhere. Despite some cloudy/cool weather, the privacy of the home allowed us to enjoy the pool/outdoor area - playing yard games. The house has everything you need. We look forward to visiting again!

My family stayed May 7 - May 14. The property exceeded our expectations. The home is in a great location, beautiful, clean, stocked with everything you will need and Steve is an amazing host! I’m excited to return again next year!

Hard to overstate how perfect this house, owner and caretaker are for our family. We've been renting from Steve for I think 6 consecutive summers (the last 2 or 3 in this house), and we'll keep coming back for as long as Steve will have us, and in fact have extended next summer's stay to 3 weeks. Our family is now 7 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs and this house is ideal for us. Beautiful, spacious house with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs, large living room, terrific and well-stocked kitchen and the best of all is the pool and pool area. About a mile from Katama Beach and about a mile from Edgartown shopping and restaurants, so the "right in the middle" location works really well for us, too. Every request is satisfied by either Steve or Caretaker Craig, who is excellent. When you add in the dog-friendliness this is a vacation home that is hard to improve upon in such an amazing locale. Thanks Steve and family!!

This was a wonderful and luxurious vacation home. The location is ideal, within easy range of both the beach and Edgartown. The house is modern and extremely well-maintained, with a top of the line pool and outdoor area. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area are perfect for entertaining. We were able to sleep four adult couples as well as five children comfortably, with each family unit having some space for themselves. The house is well-stocked, and made it easy to cook for all of those people, with enough beach chairs and pool toys to keep the kids entertained at the beach and pool. We have rented from Steve, the owner, several times in the past. He has always gone out of his way to make himself available, and has answered any questions. He even made his netflix account available as part of the tv and entertainment system, which was so well designed, that even my technophobic mother-in-law could work the remote. Steve's local caretaker is also available 24/7, and very quickly fixed a minor air conditioning issue that we had. The house is very close to several excellent breakfast places, including the Right Fork Diner, Morning Glory Farms, and the Edgartown General Store. The location feels private, with nice trees shielding you from the surrounding area, but you are still in the middle of one of the nicest parts of the island, within easy biking or driving range of South Beach, Edgartown, and Oak's Bluffs. Although we cooked at home a few nights, we were also able to go out to some of the great, near-by restaurants for several dinners. In short, I would highly recommend this home. You would be hard-pressed to find a better maintained house on the island, which you can see by the number of repeat renters Steve gets year after year.

Wow is the only way to describe this home and the amazing week we had celebrating my best friend's birthday. There were 7 adults and a toddler in our party with enough room for all to have privacy while enjoying the great company in the family area. It is central to everything with so much to do and the beach is just down the street. This house is so pristine, yet so cozy. Steve Church is the ultimate host with his responsiveness and thinking of every need prior to our arrival to include recommendations on activities, destinations and great places to grab a bite. If you are looking for the perfect vacation stay, this is the perfect place!

This house is spectacular, but all of Steve's houses are spectacular. Perfect Katama location with a new model home appearance and very helpful management. My family and friends loved this house for both its privacy and close proximity to the beach with trails for running and biking. It's a well stocked home with upscale kitchen accessories. The pool was a bonus for the kids! Highly recommend this home!

This beautiful, spacious home is the ideal getaway! It comfortably sleeps and accommodates multiple families with a large kitchen open to the main living area. The location is perfect, about 1 mile each way to downtown Edgartown and South Beach. We had the most memorable Thanksgiving holiday here and can only imagine being able to use the gorgeous pool and backyard area if we were there during the summer months! This is our third time renting from Steve in 2 years, we've stayed at two of his homes now and they are both beautifully appointed, very clean and everything has been thought of to really make you feel at home. Highly recommend these hidden gems and looking forward to staying again!

We’ve been staying at this house every summer for a few years now, and every stay is better than the last. I like to sit next to the salt water pool in the backyard and watch the clouds in the sky. We love playing games in the open floor plan with friends and family. We’re rather picky, but are always impressed with the cleanliness and décor. The house feels fresh and bright. We vacation at multiple fabulous homes every year, but this is the house we look forward to above all others. It feels like home. The house is in the perfect location - just close enough to the bustle of Edgartown, and yet private and quiet. It’s a quick drive or easy bike ride to the center of town for dinner (Rockfish is a personal favorite). About five minutes away in the other direction is South Beach, arguably the best on the island. The Right Fork Diner is a few streets away, a quaint eatery next to a field of grass that also serves as a runway strip for tiny planes. We always feel like we're living in a storybook when we vacation here. Steve and his family are wonderful hosts. You’ll never see them if you prefer privacy, but welcoming and informative if you reach out. Steve is responsive, accommodating, and respectful. If there’s ever availability to book this home, I highly recommend it.

Inside the house itself, everything is high-end and well cared for - from the furniture to the kitchen and appliances and bathrooms, 2 beautiful master bedrooms. Craig, the caretaker, is extremely responsive and immediately takes care of any issues, no matter how minor. I highly recommend this house, owner and caretaker to anyone looking to rent a large, dog-friendly house on MV, and we have already signed up for 2 weeks in 2018!! In fact, we'll keep coming back as long as Steve will have us!!

The attention to detail in this home is outstanding! This high-end home is warm and welcoming yet is in keeping with a relaxed Vineyard feel. This was our first trip to the Vineyard and the home and surrounding area are very much as pictured in the photos. We felt as though we were living in a model home; it is immaculate and the furniture and luxury bedding all appeared new. The kitchen was appointed with top-of- the line appliances and we particularly loved the use of sliding barn doors which are all the rage now. We had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. From the start, Our experience with Steve was wonderful- he made us feel like guests - he was attentive and offered many recommendations for a great first time island experience. We highly recommend visiting this gorgeous home- you will not be disappointed!

This is a great house. We had a multi-generational family trip and everyone loved it. The home is large, beautifully decorated and in a great location...you can walk or bike to either the beach or Edgartown (or just a short drive). And the heated pool was the best...the kids were in it all week and they loved running around the yard as well. In addition, both the owner and property care taker were great to work with and made sure our trip was enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

Inside, outside, and location were all perfect. A walk or short bike ride to the beach or Edgartown. An amazing pool with beautiful landscape. A luxurious home inside. The bedrooms are all beautiful and three out of five are master suites which is unusual. Our group had an amazing time. We were able to eat dinner all together outside each evening and that was our "special time" to enjoy each other's company.

We can't recommend this home enough to families who want to have every luxury of home with them while they are on a visit for a long weekend, a week's holiday or in our case, most of the summer. The use of recovered wood is incredible and the ability to close off the "sleeping" portion of the house enables adults and kids a like to separate the social gatherings from the sleeping ones. Not only is Steve an attentive owner, he has arranged for a very responsive and expert care taker who responds to every need within a few hours. Of course, the real draw is the amazing pool and deck area. You could host a cocktail party or swim party of 20 back there. And the location is amazing. Our first time on the Vineyard and we were lucky to have found this house. There is a beautiful garden that welcomes you to the front door. Which, has a little porch with rocking chairs. We sat out and rocked on them with some nice wine watching the stars. The inside of the house is well decorated and inviting. The kitchen has more than ample space and has everything you need to cook, serve and eat. The upstairs bedrooms have their own deck area which was also a great place to watch the stars at night or the sunrise. The outside pool area is stunning, great outdoor furniture with nice thick cushions to relax on. The pool itself is heated and the finish the owner has chosen for the pool really gives it a look that screams jump in and have fun. Which we did. There is a Weber grill for cooking nice fresh seafood. ( or whatever you like to bbq) The back of the house backs up to a wooded area, and is very private. We had a great time. The owner Steve is very helpful, as well as personable, with any concerns or questions you may have. His caretaker Craig is a sweetheart. The house is right off the bike path, therefore you can ride into town for lunch or go south on the path to South beach. There are many things to do on this island. There is the Alpaca farm, the cliffs, beaches, restaurants, tons of bike paths, farms, and even a spa for massages. We loved it so much we are coming back next year.
