Un chalet privé, récemment rénové entouré d'arbres, ruisseau de montagne, les champs et une vue spectaculaire sur les Présidentielles. Abondance de la faune sur les fenêtres. Il n'est pas rare d'avoir un orignal ou un ours à pied. Vous apprécierez des nuits confortables et reposantes dans la chambre intime et sereine sur une literie de qualité, y compris du duvet et du coton. La baignoire attenante fournit une douche, des serviettes moelleuses et un sèche-cheveux. Des détails architecturaux uniques ont été ajoutés pour créer un environnement confortable. La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour préparer des repas simples ou élégants avec salle à manger attenante et des espaces de vie spacieux. Une collection de guides, de cartes et de matériel de lecture locaux est fournie. Nous avons également compilé une liste de nos choses préférées à faire dans la région, y compris des randonnées, des restaurants et des excursions d'une journée. De nombreuses fenêtres laissent entrer la lumière naturelle, les sons et l'air pur de la montagne. I cannot speak highly enough about this rental and the owner. The property was easy to get to even with quite a bit of snow on the ground. The roads were well cleared. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and very well taken care of. It is a small, cozy cabin with plenty of space for two people, and the automatic fireplace was a great touch. It is in a great location, away from the busier areas of the White Mountains, but still close enough to everything to not feel out of the loop. The cabin has great views of Madison and Adams. I cannot stress enough how breathtaking this view is, especially from the shared field.
Larry was very friendly and helpful, and offered to stop by to say hello and introduce us to the area on the first day. His local knowledge was excellent and he was able to direct us to some great hiking trails and restaurants. I look forward to staying here again soon!

Larry and Yvonne were amazing hosts. Very friendly and considerate and I felt so welcomed in their cabin. It was a perfect space to getaway and focus on myself. Breathtaking scenery, very friendly neighbors. Overall, I am very happy to have chosen this location. It was perfect.

My wife and I spent 8 nights at the cottage in Randolph and had a great stay. The place was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed.
Our hosts were super friendly and helpful, and they even gave us tips on local hiking — which was why we came. This whole area was an awesome hiking destination and there were multiple trailheads within the neighborhood we were in.
The whole area was really beautiful, and we highly recommend it. We would definitely return.

This beautiful cottage has everything you need for a longer stay, cooking and laundry facilities, easy access to White Mountains and northern New Hampshire, and close to stores and some very nice restaurants.
Larry was very generous with tips for hikes and scenic drives in the surrounding area, and shared some stories about the cottage and it's history. We absolutely loved the interior, and the craftmanship of the furniture.

I can rave about this place, but I won't because I would just be repeating what all the other 5-star reviews have said. This place is highly rated for a reason. Place is exactly as described.

There aren't enough ways to describe this beautiful rental. The cabin and location are picture perfect and spotless. The one clear night we had provided the opportunity to view the stars like no where else I have been.
We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and exploring this area of the White Mountains. The hosts are very knowledgeable of the town and surrounding areas.
The information they provided about places to go and things to see was exceptional. They had ideas for us that we never would have thought about on our own. Communication with them is superb.
Thank you Larry and Yvonne for sharing your piece of paradise with us! We enjoyed visiting with you and look forward to our return.

We originally booked this "perfect" cottage for a week but cut it short because we purchased a camper and spent half the week in camp. Our host graciously allowed the change in plans....thank you. The cottage is as described, lovely. Larry and Yovonne are truly Mother & Father Earth. Thank you for the delicious homemade cider.

This was our first time to the White Mountains and we not only fell in love with the area, but had a wonderful stay at Larry & Yvonne's cozy cottage. No complaints at all, everything was perfect. So much so, that during our quite rainy stay, we chose to relax at the cottage a good bit of the time. Great location in the Northern Presidentials and close to a ton of hiking (don't overlook the Randolph Paths), and the Presidential Rail Trail (highly recommend biking it).
Larry was always very communicative and helpful. Perfect accommodations and perfect hosts. We loved every bit of our stay!

Larry’s VRBO cabin was a great location for my husband and I to base our Cross New Hampshire Trail bicycle ride. That was quite the adventure! There are two rail trails, rough dirt roads and paved roads to make our way across the state. Randolph, New Hampshire (where this cabin is located) is approximately the mid-point. Although we had quite a bit of rain on our stay, we had plenty of things to do in the area. One day we hiked from the Appalachia parking lot to view 4 waterfalls on a 2-mile hiking loop from that parking lot. Since there had been plenty of rain, the falls were flowing nicely, and it was quite pretty. We appreciated the bonus of having a screen house in the back of the cabin to enjoy the deck. There were a lot of biting bugs this year (probably because of the rain). Several breweries are within driving range, which we took advantage of as well.

My husband and I (and our dog) were looking to getaway for a long weekend, we loved it so much we extended our stay (luckily Larry & Yvonne, our hosts, had availability). The cabin and surrounding property are incredibly tranquil. It's so peaceful, but also close to amenities and great restaurants. We had such a great visit that we're already planning our next trip to this wonderful sanctuary! If we could give more than five stars, we definitely would!

This place is amazing!! An adorable cottage where you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are 10 minutes outside of a town with awesome restaurants that are reasonably priced. My dog loved the snow and we all had a great time snowshoeing close to the property. I am almost tempted to give it a bad review, as it is so good, I don't want others to book it on us! I will be back!

Wonderful cottage with amazing snow capped Presidential views. Lovely hosts thought of everything, tastefully decorated with an artistic eye just perfect for our winter getaway. We even had a lovely light snowfall. Snowshoeing and hiking trails right from the cottage. Our host is very knowledgeable of the area and lots of great suggestions…

I went to the property with my dog Max and wanted a couple of days of walking/hiking, relaxing, reading, and just an overall peaceful vacation. It was certainly in a remote area, but I was very comfortable knowing the owners/hosts were 300 yards away. Nestled in the woods, this was the most beautiful cabin I have ever stay in. Larry and Yvonne checked in every day to see if I needed anything or if I had any questions. They opened their property to me and my dog to explore, and were the perfects hosts!

Property exceeded our expectations. Lovely little cabin with an absolutely gorgeous back deck and view. Still close enough to town to to pick up needed/forgotten supplies. The cabin came equipped with everything we needed and then some! Larry and Yvonne were both sweet and thoughtful hosts.

Me, my boyfriend and our two pups had an unforgettable trip. The accommodations were so cozy and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and watching the stars. The hosts are so kind and truly care about their guests. They made us feel right at home! We hope to book another trip soon!

This cabin was lovely. Cozy, but roomy enough for two people. Clean and charmingly decorated. View from the back porch is beautiful. Loved having the grill and outdoor fire pit. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Tip: make sure to turn on the fan when using the stove or oven. The smoke detector is very sensitive. There is a washer/dryer which was helpful as I stayed a full week.
The location of the cabin is wonderful. Close to groceries, restaurants, and lots and lots of hiking trails. The cabin is near the end of a dead end road so there is no traffic noise and it’s very peaceful.
The hosts Larry and Yvonne were very friendly and helpful.
If you like to hike, I recommend the falls trail (parking is at the Appalachia trail head which is 5 min drive from the cabin). It is a short hike, follows the river, and goes by several waterfalls. If you are not used to the rocky hiking trails in NH, the presidential rail trail is a nice change of pace. Flat, no rocks or tree roots, so you can just walk, relax, and let your mind wander. It follows the river and has views of the mountains.
I highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I spent the week of August 13th to the 20th at the little house. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we have had in a long time. The home had everything we needed, including kitchenware, linens, bedding. The home is super comfortable and the views from the back deck are nothing short of spectacular. Larry and Yvonne are gracious hosts and let us help ourselves to fruits and vegetables in their garden. The grounds are impeccable and the love they put into their property is evident everywhere you look. I will definitely return to this special property again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I won’t repeat all the accolades others have stated about the property.
To me the property is more about what the mountains and the 1000’s of bee pollinators Larry the owner has cultivated in the area.
The view of the mountains (Mt. Madison & Mt Adams) out the back door are awe inspiring. Each day they change due to the angle of the sun and the position of the clouds.
The owners allow you to walk their property and take in all the wildflowers that grow. Even walking the country roads around the house, you will see Larry’s footprint in flowers for the bees.
It’s refreshing to stay at a place where the hosts are mindful of the footprint, they leave. They recycle including composting if you want to. Not required!
The house is a perfect size for one couple. It was very convenient that there was a washer and dryer provided. (Bring laundry soap.) The best part was they provided a clothes line! Love that.
I highly recommend this place and the area. Don't miss going to Gorden Falls nearby. It's probably the most beautiful cascading falls I've ever hiked. It's not a difficult hike as my 12 1/2-year-old dog managed but there are tree roots and a few rocks to walk over. Take a walking stick.

30th Wedding Anniversary Getaway
This was a perfect getaway to celebrate our 30th anniversary! We enjoyed lots of challenging hikes! Spent one day traveling to the Maine Coastline and one other day visiting the quaint little town of Coldwell! The little cabin met all of our expectations!

Absolutely Perfect
So glad to have found this gem. I feel lucky to have been able to experience this wonderful property. Larry is very knowledgeable and has many great suggestions. We truly had the most amazing time enjoying the mountains with our dog Kobe and our morning greetings from sweet opal. Honestly this is the place to be. We can not wait to go back! Cozy Cottage Stay
The property was beautiful! We were able to explore the area while feeling secluded in our comfy cabin. The cabin was clean and completely warmed by the fireplace. Our stay was made better by Larry and his assistance throughout our stay. We were greeted with baked goods and assisted with anything else we could have needed! It was a great place for my partner and our two pups.
