We loved our stay at Stress Free By The Sea. We’ve made it a tradition over the last few year to meet my parents (from Ohio) in Topsail to spend time together over the holiday. Although the weather wasn’t the best, being right on the beach was such a lovely treat. The deck space is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for star-gazing at night and catching sunsets in the morning. We even saw a large pod of dolphins the morning that we left. The quaint town of Topsail is very walkable, complete with cute little shops and a few restaurants. We were able to walk to the corner to watch the Topsail Christmas Parade, which was way more fun than we expected!
The house itself was perfect for our family. We loved that ALL of our rooms were oceanfront (the kids were especially psyched). The kitchen had plenty of space for us to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal, and the round dining table was amazing for all the games we played.
Would definitely recommend Stress Free By The Sea & would love to return during warmer weather to enjoy it to its fullest!

We thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Stress free by the sea’ property! Mike was responsive to all my questions prior to and during our stay. The thermostat went out on the main floor, but was fixed the next day (we understand things happen!) & it did not affect our stay one bit. I wish some linens (towels) were provided to avoid the overhaul/extra cost, but it was clear linens would not be provided from the description. Beautiful house, access to the beach and porches!

The house and the location were wonderful. We loved the house decor, easy access to the town of Topsail and most of all the oceanfront access and view. The owner was great, communication was seamless. Mother Nature did deliver a tropical storm, which caused us to loose a beach day, but will make an interesting story to share as part of our 2023 experience!

Our stay started off a bit rough as the downstairs HVAC went out the first day we were there (it was quite hot outside and in), but luckily it wasn’t major, and Mike was able to get it repaired quickly so it didn’t ruin our trip. During the ordeal he was responsive and reassured us he would get it taken care of. After that, the stay was incredible. All bedrooms have the beach so we all had great views and surf sounds in our rooms. The new deck is fantastic and we spent a majority out there. There is nothing like waking up early and sitting on the deck or easily stepping out onto the beach to watch the sunrise over the pier which is a short distance away. The beach is probably the best beach I’ve ever been to. The surf/beach is perfect for kids. The design of the house is ideal for families. Everyone has there own space but there is a ton of group space too. I really enjoyed the new benches around the kitchen table. Very easy to slide in and out for eating and games. The wifi and Roku boxes everywhere are great for other entertainment. If you want a relaxing stay that is totally focused on beach and family time, this is it.

Our first trip to Topsail Island was enhanced by the accommodations of Stress Free by the Sea. Everything was as advertised and then some. The pictures don’t do the home justice. The main living area is more spacious than it appears. The lower level is perfect for young families. And the deck is amazing. Literally steps from the beach. You can tell a lot of thought and effort was put in when it was built. The convenience of the deck shower/hose was invaluable. The kitchen has everything you need. The washer/dryer ran like a dream. The washer pressure was excellent. The water heater stayed hot for everyone’s showers post-beach. The only thing I would had like to had would be a ceiling fan in the bunk room for the kids. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, perfect for our young family. Lifelong memories were made. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

One of the best beach vacations we've ever had. Traveled with friends of ours who have been vacationing with us for over 20 years. Our adult children joined us. Room enough for everyone to have privacy, amazing location, and an incredible beach. The house has everything you need. The beach never felt crowded. Great weather every day.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. We enjoy ocean front setting with minimal tourist attractions. Location was ideal for us. We like to cook in with 1 or 2 nights out. It was exactly what I hoped it would be.

Our experience with “Stress Free By The Sea” was just that! Could not ask for a better experience. We will most definitely be booking this property again in the near future. If you have any doubts try it once and see for yourself! No complaints here! Great job by “The Pittman’s” in all aspects!

This house was perfect for us. Right on the beach, with beautiful views from the deck. The house is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a great vacation. Good restaurants and shops nearby. A good first visit to Topsail!

This place is lovely and far superior to most. The common spaces are spacious, beach access is great, the decks are well designed and user friendly. Kitchen is well supplied and appliances are great. The decor looks like it may have been professionally done; the atmosphere seems upscale yet is welcoming. We love the place!

Very good environment. Very comfortable space for the 8 of us. Few little glitches, but that is expected.
1. Pictures of kitchen eating area should be updated on the site to show what is there now. We were disappointed with the bench seating, when expecting table and ind. chairs. We would have prepared better for the little kids.
2. Dishwasher was not emptied when we arrived.
3. There was only a few sheets of paper towels and very little paper on toilet rolls. That was a big inconvenience as we had to get that right away.
4. We would advise posting in instructions recommending that the blinds stay closed during the morning when the sun is beating in to help keep the rooms cooler. That was very helpful for us to do, especially in the living room/kitchen area.

It was a great location and the house had everything we need! Plenty of room, a great ocean-front balcony, beach chairs and toys, a grill, and access to the beach! Close to surf city and a few restaurants within walking distance!

Lovely Property
It truly is "Stress Free by the Sea". Check in was easy, very well appointed kitchen and bedrooms, and of course, you can't beat the view and access to the beach right from the backyard. The back porch was perfect for dolphin watching!
