My experience was really good except for one thing. The unit had obvious maintenance issues. The silverware drawer was jammed from a previous guest. One of the bathtub drains was clogged so you're standing in dirty water while you're taking a shower. These are the kinds of things that can be looked at proactively in between when guests are there. Instead I had to call for maintenance. When I did, I had to text and email to additional times before somebody showed up. Apparently there was an emergency with a burst pipe at another one of the properties. I understand that. At the same time it was a little odd having the wonderful maintenance person into our unit at 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday night. If the property management company did a better job with being proactive looking around at simple to fix issues before guests came, I would gladly give a higher review. The people I interacted with over text and email regarding the issues with the property maintenance were very friendly. However they didn't get resolved quickly. If this were some cheap motel 6, no problem. For the money we spent for the long weekend, my expectation is that the bathtubs don't have any clogs, the silver drawer pulls out easily, and the sink knobs and shower knobs function well with nice tight firm connections. Everything in this unit is loose and on the verge of falling apart

We (2 parents, 2 kids) enjoyed our stay...the pool was our kids' favorite part of our CO vacation! The unit worked well for us; the boys got the bunk beds, there was an extra bed in their room, and we got our own room with attached bathroom. We cooked at our place one night, and the kitchen was adequately stocked, though a few items were missing (like hot pads). Loved the proximity to coffee, restaurants, and entertainment for the kids...overall, great rental.

The place is very spacious with 3 bathrooms. The facility is awesome especially the outdoor spa. Walking distance to the ski lift! However, I wish it is possible to have multiple parking pass instead of just one.

Let me start by saying that this is our 3rd time in Keystone and this was by far the worst experience we had.
1) We contacted the property management a day before our check in time and we requested an early check-in (willing to pay extra) because their check-in time is 4:30pm and we were arriving at noon. We were told that they can’t promise anything and we have to contact them again on the day of arrival, which makes no sense because of you are a good property manager you would not wait until the day of to schedule your house cleaning etc…The entry code did not work until 4:30pm so we could not even get inside the common area to stay warm.
2) We also asked a day in advance to ensure that the sleeping sofa has bed sheets, pillows and blankets. When we checked in we found out that there were no blankets for the sleeping sofa. One member of our group had to sleep one night without a blanket (absolutely unacceptable). A day later and a few more text messages we received a blanket…
3) The unit we rented was on top floor (5) and only one elevator servicing that floor was not working when we arrived and got fixed a day later. We had to carry all our luggage and ski equipment through the stairs. This was a miserable experience and totally unacceptable. Luckily we did not have anyone in the group that was disabled but we met other people who had a really tough time climbing stairs with their small children and elderly friends/ relatives.
4) The main reason we booked this unit was the grill on the balcony that was clearly visible in the pictures. Well…there was no grill to be found. We resorted to using the common area grill by the pool BUT it did not work. The gas burners lit up but could not heat up the grill over 70 degrees, so we could not grill any of the meet we had purchased.
5) There is construction going on next to the property where they are developing new condominiums which resulted in blocking off the path to the village and we had to around ways of. What should have been a short 1 minute walk turned into 5+ minutes of walking to get to the shops and restaurants.
6) last but not least, the water pressure in our unit was so low that taking a shower after a long days on the slopes was a miserable experience.

NO ONSITE MANAGEMENT. WE WERE GIVEN 5 PLASTIC TRASH BAGS FOR A 5 DAY STAY. WHEN I CALLED MANAGEMENT COMPANY FOR ADDITIONAL TRASH BAGS I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO DRIVE TO THEIR OFFICE ON HWY. 6 IN KEYSTONE TO PICK THEM UP....NOBODY ON PROPERTY COULD PROVIDE US WITH ADDITIONAL TRASH BAGS.

We've stayed in at least a dozen properties around River Run including at least 4 in The Springs and, unfortunately, this was not one of our better experiences. The best part of this property and the whole reason I chose it was that our 3 kids could each have their own bed with no one on a pullout in the living room. That and the extra bathroom were great and redeemed this condo. But the living area is pretty tight otherwise and all of the furniture is very worn. Our main issues were the kitchen, where the dishwasher is gross and barely worked and faucet was half broken and very basic. I found several dirty dishes in the cupboards but figured out after we ran the dishwasher that they had been washed but just don't actually get clean. The dishes and pots/pans were not in great shape generally and more like garage sale finds than we're used to in ski town rentals. It can't help that the water pressure is terrible, maybe because of being on the 5th floor, so faucets and especially showers were just a trickle and a real letdown after skiing. Finally, while I generally like The Springs, the elevator to the 5th floor was broken for 3 days of our stay so we had to climb a lot of stairs and the construction next door was more disruptive than I anticipated. The path around it was not well lit at night and made for a stressful trip during the day with frequent construction trucks and ski-laden kids side by side on the icy roads. We'll look for another property next time.

This is the third trip we've taken as a family to Keystone and second time staying at the Springs. 8905 was great for 4 adults and 4 kids. Was a little tight with all of our gear in the room, but is doable. Only complaints are that the bed with the bunkbeds has the frame sticking out too far and takes your shins out if you're not careful! Also, there is construction of a new building right next door so it blocks the quick access from the pool area to the gondola so you have to walk around- not a huge deal, but somewhat inconvenient. Smooth process from beginning to end.

Great property at a great value
We love The Springs and try to stay there every time we go to Keystone. This unit was well kept up and well equipped. We very comfortably managed with 5 adults. The 3rd bathroom was great when everyone was getting ready in the morning. The courtyard is the best in Keystone in my opinion. Keystone in the summer is a great escape and we had a wonderful trip again this year.

Springs #8905 has every amenity you need. It is very well furnished, especially the kitchen. The beds and bathrooms were great for the price. The parking was easily accessible and warm. The biggest downside for us was the foam cover on the king bed. You sink in it. I would prefer a regular plush mattress. The second bedroom beds were VERY comfortable. It's on the 5th floor and has a designated elevator. This can take a while when they are busy (we were there Prez weekend). It was really only a problem on Sat & Sun. The hot tubs were really busy on the weekend too. We had a great time meeting people there though. It was always fun & everyone was really nice. It's a bit of a walk to the gondola, but it's about as close as you can get in Keystone for the price. The view was of the building next door and the tops of the mountains. It was better than I expected. Nice & bright in the morning. Repairs are needed to the dishwasher, coffee maker, one lamp, bathroom lightbulbs & kitchen faucet, but all worked despite problems. One of three humidifiers was broken, but the other 2 were adequate for the bedrooms. If they buy a new king mattress, I would definitely stay there again.

This property was in a great location. What I didn’t like was that this property management company emailed me from about 5 different emails up to the time of the rental. Forget email filtering if you want to stay here. One of their first emails got filtered by spam and they never let me know any other way besides calling me and telling me (on a Sunday) I have 24 hours to get back to them or the rental was cancelled (this was about a week or so before we were leaving for this vacation, too!). After calling them back and explaining I didn’t know if their email was real (considering it came from a weird email and it said “download the attached file!”) they were very nasty and I actually had to contact VRBO (who were very nice) instead, they helped me through the process. The company was very passive aggressive and not friendly, when asking questions while staying there, “This information is located in your touchstay that was emailed to you.” instead of just giving a friendly answer. Super late check in, early check out, and have to pay if you want early check in or late check out, which is never fun for guests. Definitely a company that’s not super accommodating to guests. Would I stay here again? Sure, for the location, and if there was nothing else left, but I’d search far and wide before going with the company who owns this property again.

Location was fantastic for staying in Keystone with a young family. Unit was convenient and near the elevator. Heated parking garage was a fantastic perk. The only complaint we had was that all of the beds in the condo were firm mattresses. We only slept in the master one night, the rest of the nights we had to stay on the guest bed because it was less firm and not memory foam. We also had the maids open the door to deliver their supplies, one hour before checkout. Actually opened the door without knocking with my children in the living room and us in the back rooms getting ready.

While the unit was in a great location, there were many things that need attention in the unit. This is not the fault of the rental company but more a reflection on the owner of the unit. Three bathrooms was great, but the water pressure was very low in the showers. While many other units in the complex have been updated, this one has not. For example, it still has the original formica countertops instead of granite. One of the chairs in the living area had a big tear on the arm, most of the chairs in the dining area were falling apart, three different faucets were broken but usable, even one of the shades on the kitchen chandelier had a hole in it that was turned to the back so that it was not as noticeable. These are all cosmetic things that did not affect our stay, but they did give us an overall feel that the owners need to spend some time doing some maintenance. The one big thing that did affect our stay was the mattress in the master bedroom—my husband has never complained about any place he has ever slept, but this mattress was absolutely awful. In fact, it was so bad that he slept in the kids bedroom, I slept on the pull out couch, and we let a couple of the kids sleep in the master bedroom. It is also important to mention that while this unit is advertised as a penthouse, it does not necessarily feel that way because of the lack of updates. Additionally, since it is on the fifth floor, only one of the two elevators goes to the fifth floor which makes waiting to get to the room or down to the slopes a bit of a hassle. The common area down in the lobby was nice but could really use someone on-site keeping an eye on things in the evenings. Some nights kids were running around unsupervised, food and trash was left all over the place because people did not clean up behind themselves, etc. There are only 3 laundry rooms in the entire place. There is only one change machine, on the second floor, but it was broken. So, we struggled getting changed to do la

While the unit was in a great location, there were many things that need attention in the unit. This is not the fault of the rental company but more a reflection on the owner of the unit. Three bathrooms was great, but the water pressure was very low in the showers. While many other units in the complex have been updated, this one has not. For example, it still has the original formica countertops instead of granite. We had a great experience with this condominium located in The Springs just a few short yards away from the gondola. This condominium was a great size and a big bonus was the third full bathroom! Being on the fifth floor, and not one who likes elevators, I did get my exercise every day walking five flights of stairs, but the rest of the family was fine with the elevators. We have made Keystone our snow skiing vacation spot for over 30 years, but this year with Vail corporation prices escalating to unreasonable amounts, this VRBO was a fantastic and affordable option. This was our first VRBO experience and we will definitely be doing this again.

Good experience at this location, unit was clean and as described. Note: garage clearance is 7’6” for those of you with a carrier, ours cleared with an inch to spare. Pool was great, hot tub was cloudy and needed some care. Steam room was good and commons areas were well maintained.

Great location and management company
We loved our stay and perfect location -my 4 kids loved the swimming pool and water slide.
We were most impressed with the management company. There was a delay getting checked in and they offered us a late check out and were very accommodating. Would stay here again!
