We stayed for 3 months and had a fabulous time. The accommodations were fantastic and our hosts could not have been better. Scottsdale in an experience not a place. Grayhawk is a lifestyle we really enjoyed, the golf course is one of the finest experiences I ever had as an avid golfer. My nineteenth hole at the pool, the Great Room, the private theatre, the sauna or watching our private chef prepare our meals made this golf vacation one I will always remember. Thank you again for letting me stay. I will come back!

We stayed in this unit from Nov 1 - 30. The owners were very easy to deal and correspond with and their rep met us at the complex at the exact time arranged to orient us to the unit and complex. The location of the complex is wonderful - 5-10 min walk to grocery shopping, Starbucks, restaurants, drug store etc. 5 min walk to public tennis and pickle ball courts (lighted for evening play.) Roads in area have bike lanes for easy biking to Desert Preserve and miles upon miles of easy walking and/or hiking. 5 minute drive to Costco, Walmart Supercenter and high end shopping malls. Grayhawk golf courses in neighbourhood are expensive, so didn't play them but did play 8 different courses all over Phoenix, very easy to get to as you are 2-3 mins off of the 101 loop freeway (but far enough away you don't see or hear any traffic.) The unit itself is located right across driveway from one of 2 pools/hot tubs in the complex, great location for hanging out at the pool for happy hour or anytime. The other pool is 200m walk and is part of Great Room complex containing fitness room, pool table, theatre room, business room and complimentary coffee/tea/lemonade/ice tea all day long. As a renter you do feel like you are "differently" treated by the owners and long term lease tenants and the staff at the great room. But after a week or so the staff warms up to you when you sign into the great room and for the most part the owners/lease people we met around the pool were friendly after seeing them a few times. Inside our unit - it is in good shape considering it was built in the early 2000's (I believe) and likely is all original carpeting, counters, cupboards etc. There were some deficiencies in terms of cooking pots/pans, knives/tea towels etc in the kitchen, but as soon as we emailed the owners they purchased new items immediately. There is a table with 6 chairs for dining, but only 2 chairs out on the deck and 2 bar stools at the kitchen bar/island. The deck is quite small but could fit 2 more chairs out there if there are 4 people in the unit as it is a 2 bdrm unit. Appliances worked very well (dishwasher had a minor leak, but again owners addressed problem as soon as we notified them, and it was still usable with the leak.) Beds are comfortable, king in master, queen in 2nd bedroom. Great being on the ground floor, the garage is in next door building, is quite small and could not fit our F150 pickup, so had to park outdoors - not a big deal.

Wow, when they say it's like a 5 star hotel, they were not kidding. Wine and cheese parties. More events that we could physically do. Our personal concierge got us in to a hard to get in restaurant without a reservation. Our personal chef made us the best meal I have ever had. I spent my days at the cabana. Towel service, iced coffee and relaxation at 78 degrees. This is what every snowbird dreams of. The unit was beautiful and spotless. They have every amenity. Next year, I'm flying in with nothing more than a suitcase of clothes with more evening wear for a real happening nightlife, nothing else necessary. The hosts were truly concerned with making their home ours. I am not recommending this place to any other than my closest friends because they will come and there simply not enough rentals available so I want to keep this one to myself. Can't wait to come back.
