We arrived and were super excited with the property. We could not find our door code (our fault). They answering/texting service does not help in the evenings and on weekends. They simply will not call you back unless it's between 9-5 Mon-Fri. We received a call about the pool heater not working the day before we left. We had workers there shortly after we arrived that the rental company had working on the heater for 2 days prior to our arrival. Needless to say, it never was fixed. This was something we were excited about doing, especially the kids. Be careful walking to the beach. Their private boardwalk had several boards missing, and places that boards were rotten through causing several holes that even adults could fall through. The last few days Monday-Thursday, there was constant construction going on next door that was so loud you had to sit right next to the person to talk. Overall, we had a fun time. Probably will be more cautious next vacation.

The house was beautiful! Perfect for our group of 17. Very clean. We loved that every bedroom had its own full bathroom. Every employee we spoke with was very friendly, helpful, and professional. This includes cleaning crew, inspector, maintenance man, and texting hotline. Had a chirping smoke alarm, and staff arrived to fix it very shortly after we contacted them. A couple minor complaints: main fridge was not keeping up and stuff wasn’t getting very cold. Wasps attacked some people on the walk to the beach, 3 people got stung. I’m sure maintenance will address these issues now that they are aware, as it was apparent the property was well cared for. Highly recommend, would stay again!

House was huge and awesome. Very clean and new. Only issues we had were 1) hot tub controller was not working and 2) the view was obstructed to the ocean from the main floor. (we knew that going in, we were not misled in any way) Would definitely stay there again!

Overall a wonderful property and stay. Location was great, and the house is fantastic for a group.
Hot tub was great, but was ice cold on arrival and took 30+ hours to come to temp, so we could not use it first day and 1/2.
Kitchen was very well equipped with everything except foil / plastic wrap / adequate dishwasher detergent, papertowels. There are NO spices / salt / pepper / oil / etc
Overall a GREAT vacation. Rental agency was very quick to respond, and easy to work with.

Renting this property was very straightforward and seamless. Our manager was very kind and responsive to our needs and requests. She worked with us to get us into the property earlier especially with little toddlers that needed much needed rest after a long journey. We very much appreciated the flexibility! I highly recommend this property and would definitely do it again! Maybe next year!! Thank you for the great hospitality.

This is a great summer vacation home. We had 18 family members ranging 5 to 80. The bedding is comfortable and bedrooms are private with each having full baths. Except the bunk room doesn’t have a door and doesn’t have air conditioning. It was fine for teenagers who used fans. We cooked all meals at the house and the kitchen is well equipped with pans, cutlery, 2 dishwashers, small appliances, etc. And it has a warming oven and catering servers for parties. Plenty of counter space for lots of cooks. It also came with a good amount of cleaning supplies and toiletries. The house was very clean when we arrived and was ready a bit early for us. The management company advised us beforehand that the previous guest smoked in one of the bedrooms and extra cleaning procedures were taken and to advise them if we had any issues. The bedroom was fine when we arrived. The pool and jacuzzi are a perfect size and really nice they are on same level as living room and kitchen. Private path to beach is great and the beach is not crowded by the house. We all enjoyed our stay and would def stay again.

A beautiful home close to the beach. We had a wonderful week enjoying the pool, beach, biking, and hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and two refrigerators was nice. Ice maker wasn't working, but it was the only problem we had all week and a bag of ice was provided. The house was very clean when we arrived. The area around the pool got really hot so you had to be careful with little ones.. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Our group of friends had an amazing time at this property. Everyone commented on how beautiful and spacious the house was. The kitchen and grill were excellent as we cooked several times. The hot tub and pool were great and the proximity to beach was very convenient.The house was very clean when we arrived and was well stocked with kitchen appliances, utensils, etc. There were more than enough towels for all guests for showers and the pool.There were a few downsides, but they would not prevent us from staying again. There is no coffee bean grinder, but three coffee machines (?). There were too few cleaning supplies provided - we had to buy trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. And there was no cooking supplies - no salt and pepper, oil, etc. so we had to buy all those as well and of course had plenty leftover so felt wasteful throwing it all away again. Again, these are not dealbreakers, just be prepared.We would love to stay at this property again. It's a beautiful home and great for large groups.

We were a group of women who worked together and take a vacation every year. This time we chose Hilton Head and we were not disappointed. From the time we arrived to this beautiful home till the time we left we had a fantastic time. The weather and beach couldn't have been better.The house was everything we hoped it would be, we had minor issues that were addressed by the company in a instant. I don't think we have ever dealt with a better rental company than this one. If we come back we will definitely be renting from them.

February 2022 Stay
Wonderful property! We had a 50th wedding anniversary celebration with all the family here and the heated pool and hot tub was a hit for adults and kids. The large kitchen and two eating areas made it easy to feed everyone and have room for games also. Would highly recommend this beautiful home for any large gathering. There is a wooden boardwalk for easy access to the beach. You will not be disappointed.

We were here for a bachelorette. Absolutely loved the house — big enough for a group of 14 to fit comfortably. The jacuzzi on the deck was amazing; the kitchen/living area is perfect for entertaining and playing games. Everything about the check-in / check-out was easy. The garbage room is right off the basement, you don't even have to go outside! The only slightly negative thing I'd have to say is we paid for pool heating but because it was a cold weekend, the pool never got to a comfortable temperature. So it didn't feel like a worthwhile extra expense. But if we'd gone during the summer it would have been a perfect weekend. Very quick taxi ride to everywhere in HHI we wanted to go.

Great place for a larger group.
Beautiful house perfectly suited for larger groups. With 7 beds and 7 baths, everyone has their own space. It was fantastic to have a private path to the beach, and the beach in that area really seemed to be very clean and not crowded in the least.

The house is beautiful! Location is great! Neighbors get mad of kids are in the pool at any time unfortunately. You have to go to bed at 10pm every night otherwise you will get lots of complaints. If you like to go to bed early, this is the spot for you! 10pm curfew. It’s a really beautiful place and perfect location, just wish we could have enjoyed the pool & hot tub without neighbors about every single thing

Vacation to us is all about getting the family together. Our experience at 18 Sand Dollar Road was no exception. We had a blast! The accommodations, however, didn't measure up to the price we paid.
In particular: The elevator never worked. Staff notified twice. There is no ice maker and one in the fridge was not made to supply numbers. There should be filtered water in the door, but had none. The AC in the bunk room over the garage did not have the capacity to cool. The light bulb in the master bath toilet was out. There was not chair/stool in first floor master to sit to put shoes on etc. Filter cover for the pool was not attached and dangerous for our grandkids playing around the pool. Was reported. Pool repair truck pulled into our drive, mid stay, but didn't even get out of truck. We were told a new cover had to be ordered, but a temp fix should have been made for safety. Board walk to been was better than most, but needed repairs to bad boards needing repairs. Also the landscape/vines around the walkway we taking over the walkway. We saw a black snake in the brush behind the pool twice. There was also a hole in the deck by the hot tub. We called about it as well and it was taken care of right away. For the price we paid, these conditions were not up to par. House was clean, but it takes more than that. We had a great time, but will not be going back. Value not there.

Pool repair truck pulled into our drive, mid stay, but didn't even get out of truck. We were told a new cover had to be ordered, but a temp fix should have been made for safety. Board walk to been was better than most, but needed repairs to bad boards needing repairs. Also the landscape/vines around the walkway we taking over the walkway. We saw a black snake in the brush behind the pool twice. There was also a hole in the deck by the hot tub. We called about it as well and it was taken care of right away. For the price we paid, these conditions were not up to par. House was clean, but it takes more than that. We had a great time, but will not be going back. Value not there.

Our experience at 18 Sand Dollar Road was no exception. We had a blast! The accommodations, however, didn't measure up to the price we paid. In particular: The elevator never worked. Staff notified twice. There is no ice maker and one in the fridge was not made to supply numbers. There should be filtered water in the door, but had none. The AC in the bunk room over the garage did not have the capacity to cool. The light bulb in the master bath toilet was out. There was not chair/stool in first floor master to sit to put shoes on etc. Filter cover for the pool was not attached and dangerous for our grandkids playing around the pool. Was reported. Great location for our 50th anniversary party. Good pool and close to beach. House had some problems. Elevator not in operation caused isssues for our disabled Navy vet. Ice maker NEVER worked. Had to go out and buy 3 bags of ice EVERY DAY. Master bath toilet light out for first 3 days. 2 dexk recliners were broken. For that rent cost these issues should not exist. We should get a partial refund!
