The property was perfect. It was built with love by the owner. It was close to museums and the plaza. There is radiant heating, so the floor was always toasty. We enjoyed this property and would highly recommend it.

This was our very first long term stay in Taos and were very happy with everything from a clean house, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen with all cookware and dishware we needed, and beautifully decorated inside as well as the beautiful flowers and plants outside ! I loved my stay here. David & Petra were gracious hosts who maintain a wonderful Casita full of their artistic efforts. Their location near historic Taos is perfect. Close and yet you feel like you're in the country

Casita Linda is located on a quiet, quaint road near old town Taos. The house is delightfully designed with extensive and imaginative use of stone and native wood. Our landlord/ owner was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will return here whenever we visit Taos.

This is an lovely property—as beautiful as it is comfortable. The owner’s craftsmanship is truly amazing, making each moment inside beautiful. And outside there is a great barbeque area in an ample fenced yard. Perta and David are great hosts—and fascinating people to talk to. So, for me a perfect place to stay in Taos. Looking forward to a return trip!

This property is absolutely wonderful. The artistic construction and unique charm had us admiring new facets of the hand crafted construction through out our whole stay; yet the wood and stone materials David has used in his construction create a very warm, relaxed and snuggle-right-in atmosphere. David met us when we arrived, gave us a quick tour of the Casita, answered any questions we had, told us how to get in touch if we needed (two doors down) and then left us to explore for 9 days. He provided just the right information we needed without being intrusive. The location is easily within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance of the plaza and center of Taos. My wife and I walked downtown twice a day, usually mid morning and then again for dinner and evenings out. Depending when you visit, traffic can be heavy and parking is not easy in downtown Taos, so the ability to walk was appreciated. Walking back after dark does require a light for part of the way, but a cellphone flashlight worked just fine; and the neighborhood felt very safe. But please realize this is from our perspective living in a very remote area of expansive woods in Northern Michigan and having no real fear of the dark.. And while we were close to downtown, the location has pleasantries of rural life; cows roaming in a pasture right out the back window; a rooster could be heard in the distance each morning, and what sounded like ducks ever so often at night? None of this was ever intrusive or interrupted our sleep however. We hope to visit Taos again, and we hope this property is available when we do!! Thank you David and Petra
