This is our 2nd year on Goose Pond and have already booked for next year. We love relaxing on the large deck looking over the water, fishing off the dock,using the kayaks. and of course swimming . There's plenty of hiking nearby and lots to do. Bob is an amazing host, extremely easy to communicate with. The house has plenty of room and has everything you could possibly need . We only wish we could stay all summer!

We had another amazing week at Goose Pond. We feel like we are at home when there. The pups get out of the car and head right into the water like they own the place. =0) We look forward to the years to come at Goose Pond.

We had the most wonderful stay at Bob’s place. It was the perfect place for a snowy NH Christmas getaway. Suitably remote and picturesque yet close to many beautiful, charming towns for an excellent blend of relaxation and activity. The house was very well equipped and spacious. Bob was an excellent host providing us with great dining recommendations (listen to him and go to Ariana’s!) and general info on the area. We loved every minute and are already planning our next stay.

A fun classic cabin with an awesome lakefront location. Host was super, even penning a hand written letter with great info. Cabin is full of interesting artifacts. And held us 5 comfortably.. Just an FYI the kitchen is pretty classic but functional

Plenty of living space and bedding for our large family. Not good for toddlers, too many things at their level to get into, plus no railing on the decks. Great dock, although tippy, and variety of kayaks and boats to use. Best was watching the Loons and their young.

We had an amazing stay at Robert’s lake house. The house has everything you could possibly need. The lakefront was beautiful with a large deck to enjoy the lake. We kayaked, canoed, fished, swam, hiked the collete and Bicknell trails, visited with friends and family in the area, took a trip to Farm way and Quechee and more!! I loved listening to the loons and owls at night, so peaceful! Hoping to come back next year!

The Lake House was very quaint, fully stocked, rustic, clean and private! It’s just what we were looking for. Our host Robert was always available and gave us some great recommendations for , restaurants and hiking in the area. The lake itself is probably the most beautiful pristine lake I have ever been too! Loons were always on the lake and we did a lot of fishing. We caught and released Some huge Bass and Pickerel. We Would love to book it again! Brian C

One of the primary reasons for staying at this property (other than the home itself) was its proximity (<30 min drive) to a multitude of outdoor winter activities such as xc skiing, ice skating, sledding and snowshoeing. The pond was frozen during our stay, so we made our own ice-skating rink directly behind the house ... an unforgettable experience.

The location is fantastic. The property is right on the lake. The host is super with his recommendations, His suggestions were spot on. He is easy to reach and responds quickly. Overall a great experience!

Bob is a fantastic host - super communicative and helpful, and very generous with the use of his property. We enjoyed our stay very much. The waterfront and views are lovely, and the fireplace/firepit and grill are great.

The location was perfect. I only wish the weather had been such that we could have spent more time on the deck enjoying the scenery. I suspect we will be booking for another stay during a warmer season to take advantage of the lake! Robert was very prompt in replying to my various questions. This lake house felt like home from the minute we entered.

We enjoyed spectacular fall foliage, whether it was while paddling in one of the many kayaks/canoes on hand (good supply of lifevests, even for our dog!), taking a beautiful scenic hike recommended by our host, or simply sitting on the back deck watching the sunset across the lake. Our host was incredibly helpful and communicative - he loves sharing this spot, and we're glad he did.

It was a great location for post-Labor Day relaxation and well located for hiking, biking and kayaking. Bob gave us great tips on where to go. The view from the deck and dock is perfect!

We had the best experience on Goose Pond. Bob was amazing to work with. He was quick to respond and very thorough in his instructions. He gave us information about day trips too. The house is adorable. Filled with antiques and relics of years gone by. It is obvious that it has been loved. There are many many games, books and cd’s to fill your time with. The kayaks and boats were awesome! We even had 4 loons swim right up to us while we were out on the water. The pond community was very quiet, even on the holiday weekend. If you have the chance, please stay a week at this charming home.

Goose Pond Lake is relaxing, full of history, a quiet property to enjoy family. Sits on the water with sounds of Loons near by, boats & kayaks passing by, with clear views of the night sky.

We had a great stay at Goose Pond. The house had plenty of room for 4 adults, 1 teen, and 4 dogs and was stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every night at the house followed by s’mores by the fire pit. The best part of the trip was the lake! It was perfect having kayaks, canoe, and row boat at the house and not having to bring our own. There was plenty of outdoor space for the dogs to chase tennis balls, swim, play and explore. We hiked Mount Cardigan and the view was spectacular, biked/walked the Boston Lot bike trails in Lebanon, and checked out One Love brewery in Lincoln. Bob answered questions promptly and was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back.
