3 Cottage Rd a été construit dans la fin des années 1890 et pendant la majeure partie rénovation et de restauration, continue à maintenir le sentiment de ce que ce était que de vivre à la plage dans un autre temps - le tout dans un accès facile à New York via banlieue ferry à grande vitesse, les trains locaux ou la ligne de bus à proximité.
Au tournant du siècle, la ville de Monmouth Beach était une résidence d'été pour de nombreuses familles éminents des régions de New York et de Philadelphie.
Même se il est maintenant devenu une année communauté, Monmouth Beach continue d'attirer les vacanciers d'été qui aiment le calme et la tranquillité de la vie dans un petit réglage de la plage de la ville.
Bien que la paix et la tranquillité de notre ville a été interrompu par la récente ouragan Sandy Storm, notre maison centenaire avéré être un exemple de la raison pour laquelle de nouvelles choses ne sont pas toujours mieux. Comme la plupart des tour des maisons centenaires le long d'Ocean Ave, 3 Cottage Rd est venu à travers la tempête magnifiquement.
Au premier étage, une nouvelle cuisine entièrement équipée a été rénové et mis à jour pour intérieur et extérieur divertissant. Le grand salon, salle à manger et des chambres complètes lire la partie bas de la location et tous ont 10 'plafonds.
Le deuxième étage comprend une grande suite parentale, chambre d'amis avec des portes françaises qui mènent au pied de la veuve et de belles vues sur le quartier et l'océan Atlantique. Cet étage a aussi salle de bain complète et une buanderie séparée avec machine à laver / sèche-linge et un espace de stockage pour le linge, etc.

Two summers ago, we were lucky to run into this listing. Once we found it, we contacted the owners, and were able to secure a lease for the summer. It was the best rental we could have had - we loved our stay!
The owners are wonderful, warm, and helpful; the home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for cooking meals - although we also took advantage of the grill that they owners had.
The property is incredibly close to the ocean (which our children loved) which made going to the beach a pleasure, since we could go for an hour without thinking about it. Of course, on those days where the kids didn't want to go to the beach, they were able to play in the big grassy yard. And, if this were not enough, the property is located in a great small town close to lots of local attractions from Sandy Hook to Jenksinson's Boardwalk. And of course, another plus is this property is just an hour away from NY by car or boat!
We can't recommend the place enough; it was an amazing experience.

My husband and I along with our son (under 1) stayed here for a long period while our home was being renovated nearby. The home itself is one of the few original beach homes in town dating back to the early 1900s and still has its beach house charm with modern conveniences. The layout is great and very spacious, unlike the tight city living that we were used to. With two floors, you have everything you need including chef's kitchen (my husband is the cook in our house and appreciated this), laundry room and reading room (although we used this as a playroom). The photos don’t do it justice, but the accommodations were great. There was an area for us to BBQ, ride our bikes into town, to the local park or even to the marina nearby to see the boats and ducks or (for mom and dad) enjoy happy hour with live music during sunset at the Channel Club tiki bar :). Best of all, we could walk across the street to our own private beach on the warmer days without having to fight crowds or search for a parking spot. For those who don’t know of Monmouth Beach, it is a quaint seashore town only a short ferry ride from Manhattan. There is plenty to do for all ages nearby. For us, it was a great place to escape the city and especially for those with kids who enjoy being outdoors! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This house rental is a real gem. What makes it special is that the owners have lived in the town for over 35 years and they have made the house a home. The garden is beautiful, there is an area to have bbqs, and there is a private beach across the street prefect for family. The location is ideal close enough to the beach and shopping and but still very private. The owners make you feel settled in no time, while leave you to enjoy the seashore escape. Feels like a true seashore vacation. We have rented the house many times with our family and children and enjoy the small town charm while love being able to get into NYC by the ferry only 1 hour away. We look forward to going back very soon!

A special place at the beach
