Niché au pied des montagnes de Santa Catalina. L'accès à des miles de pistes cyclables et de minutes de Mt. Lemmon Highway. Très proche de la face arrière de Sabino Canyon où il y a un parking gratuit. Ceci est un beau parc d'état qui offre des miles de randonnée et dispose d'un beau ruisseau. 7 Falls est à seulement 1 de nombreuses grandes randonnées! La casita est située dans le nord-est de Tucson dans une région appelée la vallée de Tanque Verde. Connu pour ses magnifiques arbres de Mesquite et temps plus frais. La Casita dispose d'un lit king-size 2 lits jumeaux, mais sont également disponibles. grand frigo, table de cuisson et lave-vaisselle sont fournis dans la cuisine. Machine à laver et sèche-linge. Notre propre recette spéciale! Asseyez-vous sur votre porche et profitez de magnifiques couchers de soleil ou prenez une tasse de café le matin. Nous avons aussi place pour garer R. V. We had an excellent stay at this property and will look forward to booking it again on our next visit to Tucson. The owners who live next door to the unit take very good care of the place and give an accurate description in their VRBO listing. We enjoyed both the back and front outdoor spaces which is where we often spent our mornings and evenings. The location of this unit and it’s dog friendly policy are what we liked most. Very quiet neighborhood for dog walks, access to Bear Canyon trailhead and unlimited bicycle riding right from the front door greatly improved the quality of our stay. The owners/hosts do a great job caring for this place and are very pleasant to work with.

The VRBO description doesn't do it justice. It had everything we needed plus a great location in a cool semi-rural area that was close to restaurants and groceries. Very clean and well equipped. We'll stay again!

A great base camp for hiking . Drive back on Snyder to N Bear Canyon Road and turn left at the end onto a dirt road (as mark with a sign "Trail Head") that ends at a small parking lot. This a free access to the mountain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rancho Sierra. The neighborhood is great for walking and for bird watching. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us and our dog. The pool helped with afternoon cool downs!

This casita was impeccably clean and nicely appointed inside and out. We spent countless hours on the front porch listening to the owls and enjoying the weather. There is also a patio in the rear facing the Catalina Mountains. The pool was clean and enjoyable and the host couple were gracious and accommodating.

This very nice casa is a real gem. Off the beaten path and very animal friendly! We loved the fact it was very close to hiking and a short distance to downtown Tucson. The owners are next door but we didn't feel the least bit nervous. It starts with welcome margaritas and just got better!

Great location for hiking.
Joan and Michael were beyond gracious. The property is in a great location if you plan on hiking. Very close proximity to many great trails and Mt. Lemmon. The neighborhood is super quiet and safe. We never even locked our vehicle. It was such a lovely break from the Montana cold. We look foreword to returning.

Lovely and very cozy casita with a view of Thimble Peak, just at the base of Mt Lemmon. Joan makes one completely at home while affording total privacy. It was a refuge and I will be back. So quiet I could hear the owls hooting at night.

Relaxing getaway
We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts, Joan & Mike, were friendly & accommodating. Casita was well appointed & in a quiet neighborhood. Having access to the pool was a plus. Enjoyed the complimentary margaritas upon arrival. Covered parking & pet friendly was a bonus. We are booking again next 4th of July.

Tanque Verde
The location was great and the cottage was perfect. Nice hiking within a few minutes and the pool is an added bonus! The renters were friendly and so accommodating. A nice getaway for two.

Casita was cozy and comfortable, colorfully decorated to create a southwestern ambiance. The owners succeeded at providing a wonderful getaway that was fully outfitted, including a trove of information of all the hiking, day trips, natural parks and museums to ensure a good time.

Weekend Getaway
Property owners were amazing. The location was perfect for enjoying hiking at either Sabino Canyon Recreation Area or Bear Canyon. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and fabulous views of the area.

Great place fantastic location and immaculately clean
We booked last minute for a weekend trip and wished we had more time. The place is beautifully done and the natural setting at the base of the mountain has us wanting to pack up and relocate. Joan and hubby are wonderful hosts and have a great thing going. Cant wait to visit again.

Joan's casita
Joan is a fantastic host. Her guest house was immaculate, nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. There was a large binder with information regarding all aspects of Tucson including hiking, shopping, medical and veterinary info, restaurants, and a variety of sightseeing brochures. The washer and dryer were an added plus. Our two dogs loved being able to play with her dog in a fenced in area. The neighborhood was great for walking. We enjoyed getting to know Joan and look forward to staying at her casita in the future..

A Wonderful Tucson Casita
Deborah & I returned to Tucson & found this wonderful casita in the NE part of town. We love hiking, biking & birding & this casita is near good places for these activities. The casita was very comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed. Joan was most helpful with many suggestions for things to do & good nearby pubs! Without question we will return to this perfect little spot in the best part of Tucson.

Lovely spot!
We loved our recent stay here. The house was charming and spotless, and so nice to come back to after a day of hiking or touring. We ate all our dinners right there, relaxing on the porch watching the sunset. No noise except the peaceful cooing of the doves, and the occasional coyote song. We would definitely stay here on a return trip to Tucson!

Total Relaxation in the Shadow of the Catalina Mountains
This cozy casita had everything we were looking for. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us some great ideas for hikes located 10 to 20 minutes away. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset, and gazing at the mountains from their backyard. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to Tucson.
