Beautiful house

Perfect house for the family. Walking distance to downtown and a short drive to Silverwood. House is well supplied and clean. Defiantly will return!! Thanks so much.

Great location! Easy walk to downtown and local shops. The house was cozy and charming. The tree swing was a big hit with the kids! We only wish there was more outdoor lighting to enjoy both the front and back yard at night. Overall a must stay when in CDA.

We were four adults, a 4 1/2 year old and a dog. The adults appreciated how cool and comfortable the house was, the child loved the tree swing and even the dog enjoyed how shady the front and back yards were. The location to town was great, too. Everything within easy walking distance. I would definitely rent this house again.

Updated home. AC was amazing during the heat wave. Beautiful home and perfect location for Ironman stay.

We had a great time visiting 5 pines. The house is adorable and highly updated with very charming features. The mattresses could use some updating, but the rest was simply amazing! To add, theY have awesome neighbors! We can’t wait to come back!

This is a very family friendly house. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. The house is set back from the street, so there’s a modicum of privacy. The next-door neighbor is very friendly. Everyone thought the decorating was extremely cute, and the amenities were more than satisfactory. There is a large fenced backyard where the little ones can run around.

This home was great for my family of six. The place was stocked for just about anything you would want. The beach blankets and chairs came in handy. It is close enough to walk to anything you want to do. The stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are a little steep but my 3 year old had no problem. Loved everything about it!

Coming from the heat this was a perfect escape for our Fourth of July! So much near by to do. Shops accessible by walking but not to close the the downtown area.

This house has been updated beautifully. The photos are accurate but don't fully express the charm of the place. The kids room was a big hit. Trundle bed, toys,,tv, DVD player, Wii gaming system. Our kids didn't use the Wii but there seemed to be quite a few games. The lot size is huge and would be great in the summer. Short, cold, winter days meant we spent more time indoors. There's not a great deal of comfortable seating in the living room. The cute bench isn't comfortable for sitting very long. But the sofa and leather chair were comfortable.. The location was great. We could walk to many great restaurants and shops even with snow and ice on the ground. We would definitely stay here again.

This house worked great for my family and my sister's family -- a total of 8 of us. The location near downtown CDA made it easy to walk into town and the open kitchen and dining area were nice places to gather when we were back at the house. Kristi was responsive and helpful with communicating. We would recommend the house to families.

This is a old, beautiful home with lots of character to it -- in the best kind of way! Our kids and dog loved the big fenced backyard and spacious front yard. The kitchen is beautiful and so is the wrap-around porch. The location can't be beat. It's a little bit of a walk (especially with little ones) to the heart of downtown, but it's a rather quiet neighborhood and still definitely within walking distance to some of the best parts of CDA. We were there with our four small children and there are plenty of toys to play with in the "monkey room," a beanbag toss game in the backyard, and a wooden tree swing in the front yard, so it's a fun place for kids. However, I'd say it's probably not very baby or toddler-friendly. The stairs to the second floor are narrow, steep, and hard (we had the foresight to bring a baby gate with us, though, and that helped a lot!) and there are lots of breakables and things for little ones to get into. We found a way to make it work, though! My only real complaint is that there were some issues with cleanliness that we came across. Mostly, the espresso machine and coffee pot were filthy. My husband was able to successfully clean the coffeepot and use that throughout our stay, but he wasn't able to fully get the espresso machine cleaned, so sadly, that couldn't be used. Also...I don't typically look under beds and other furniture, but we lost a couple toys under the couch and one of the beds and both of those had tons of dirt and dust under them, as well as empty water bottles and other things that had been lost. That's a minor complaint given that many of us probably don't clean under our furniture that well, but something to make a note of. I also have some concerns that the bedspreads may not be washed after each guest's stay. Finally, I'll say that they ask you to strip all the beds, bring all laundry to the laundry room, and do a load of laundry (wash and dry) before you leave, which we found a bit annoying. We've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and no others have ever asked us to do that. Maybe I'm being picky, but it felt like one more chore to do all while trying to get all of our own stuff packed and loaded into the car and getting our big group out the door. All in all, though, we liked the property and would stay here again!
