Het eten was niet erg lekker, er was geen stromend water en er was niet veel privacy met de aangrenzende bungalow

Amé mi estancia en My House; si buscas un lugar tranquilo y céntrico, este es tu lugar. Tienen 10 hermosos bungalows en medio de la jungla; el entorno es limpio y ordenado; lleno de flores y pájaros cantando todo el día. Isan y Dinusha se desviven por hacerte sentir cómodo y como en casa, me sentí como una más de la familia. Siempre disponibles y amables. Me ayudaron a gestionar el alquiler de una motocicleta y me dieron facilidades para todo. Dinusha cocina excelente, las raciones son grandes!!!! Volveré sin duda cuando vuelva a Sri Lanka!

It's location is close to the beach and close to the town of Ahangama where the surf spots are. It's a little off the main strip so very peaceful . Ishan and his wife are great very responsive to anything that you need

There are a few mosquitos about the place but the staff always give coils but I'd recommend being prepared with some insect repellent

Everything is great here. Peaceful garden, super lovely family that takes care of you. Great food and vibes! Came for 1 night, staying for a week now. Recommended!

Beautiful Place, just off Ahangama, short walk to the most beautiful beach. Tropical lush garden with all kinds of animals, inkl. monkeys. The hospitality of this family is extraordinary, fantastic breakfast every morning. Please do have a barbecue, this was absolutely delicious, so was the food on the night of our arrival. We booked for 4 nights, extended for 2 more. You can ask for anything, they will help and can arrange any kind of trip, bikes, all you want. Defenitely want to come back here

Bathroom could need a bit of makeover, but i can only say that for our cabana. Price you pay is unbeatable anyway

My house Ahangama is a wonderful place surrounded by a beautiful, quiet garden. The host and his family are always ready to help you with watever you need. Their breakfast and dinner (try the vegetable curry!) Are delicious! The rooms are basic but cosy. There are a few ants living in the bathroom, but if you are not bothered by a touch of nature inside your room this place is definitly highly recommended for you!

The hospitality, kindness, and general interest to help your stay be as good as it can is truly demonstrated by Ishan and his family. The different breakfasts every day and a choice of food for the evenings are spectacular! Location is excellent just tucked off the main road but close enough to the secret beach! I would highly recommend this place to stay if you want to have an authentic Sri Lankan experience

It was a pleasant stay with Ishan and his family. The wooden cabana is surrounded by trees and other plants and you hear the budgies and all the other animals joining. I was even offered a nice breakfast (Omelette toasts and fruit) although it wasn't officially included with the booking. I think the price is a bit high compared to similar accommodations but the friendliness and the nice garden made up for it. Was happy to stay there!

The location is right in the middle of the jungle and 50 mt from the beach. The hosts Ishan and Dinusha are amazing and try to help you in any way possible fir everything you need. They had the best breakfast we have had so far!

The breakfast was so good and copious! But most of all the family that welcomed us were so nice and they went above and beyond to help us in any way that they could. Our little boy played with their son, and by the end of the week we really felt like part of the family. The cabins really feel like they are in the jungle. So many trees everywhere. Every morning there were monkeys jumping on our roof or calling to each other and so many bird singing. A wonderful experience!

Sometimes there were rave parties nearby that made nice into the night.

Experience living slightly more in the wild - I enjoyed seeing the illuminois night flies in the sky above as I showered! Bed is very comfortable and spacious with a cool fan. The family are lovely and cooked me a delicious fish one evening.

I really enjoyed my stay at this place! The family running it is really nice and the breakfast big and super good. The huts are simple, but they had all i needed and expected. They are immersed in nature and really peaceful. You will see, hear and feel the jungle around you. I recommend this local stay!

Cute family run place, beautiful jungle around you, quiet, calm and peaceful. Many animals - monkey, squirrel, birds... Super close to nice secluded little beaches. Simple jungle hut with double bed with mosquito net and fan. Power socket close to bed. Temperature good with fan during day and night. Simple outdoor bathroom with shower, toilet, mirror and sink. Nice breakfast (Western or Sri Lankan - you can choose). Owner and his family are so friendly and nice and want to make your stay good! Can also do laundry here :)

Hut is not the cleanest, could be a bit cleaner. But that is I think also due to the nature of the hut and its material.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The are trying to help you all the time, with anything you need. The location is just perfect, very close beach, very close city. You live like in the jungle, in the morning time monkeys are coming for bananas. So no need to go to Safari to see them, they will eat breakfast with you. Also a lot of bird’s and chipmunk’s. Very tasty delicious food.

Four wooden houses in the jungle with main house of owners family 🤗 very authentic and friendly vibe, close to the beach! Take for first 5 day's then decide to resume for one month 🤗

The owners are very welcoming and eager to help. They made us a great breakfast of Sri Lankan omelette with bread and fruit each morning. We were there for the opening night of their restaurant which is also on the site. With a few more weeks to get it set up properly it will be a hidden gem. The internet is also very good. We saw monkeys and a monitor lizard and mongooses from our room! So much nature!

Our room was a bit open to the abundant wildlife in the garden. We were woken up early every morning by very excited squirrels and even had a tree frog climbing on the outside of our mosquito net in the middle of the night amongst other unidentified critters making noise inside the roof. It didn't bother us too much but can imagine it freaking some people out.

It is a beautiful, family owned place! The huts are not full of luxury but it’s the feeling to stay in the Djungle with apes swinging in the trees really close by ! the nicest beach in town is not even 5 min walking distance. The food is good and not expensive and the owner and his wife are the most helpful und friendly persons! we loved our stay there and we will come back for sure!
