300 year stone building in centro historico location: walk to center square and many restaurants. We had the large street facing room with 2 balcony windows and seating area. Bathroom remodeled. Kelvin was very friendly and helpful. Inside parking. Back yard & patio. Best price performer of our trip!

Unfortunately street traffic noise was bad at night even with window doors closed. Ask for interior room or bring earplugs.No breakfast but great bakery coffee shop right on the corner.

Kelvin, owner, was very welcoming and even took the time to give me recommendations and navigating the streets of centro historico and how to get to Mitad del mundo, as well as which areas to avoid at night (especially as a solo female traveller) which i highly appreciated. The room was very spacious, clean, and had everything i needed to make my stay comfortable. I also needed a taxi for one of my flight to Galapagos since it was early in the morning and he was able to help me out since he also has a taxi service. Location could not be any better too. It was close to a grocery store, restaurants, and some of the must-see spots in Quito.

My room was facing the streets so it does get loud at times but i was able to sleep comfortably.

It’s a beautiful Colonial building with a great view of the Panecella. The location is very central, close to everything. The hosts are super nice and helpful.

Like most of the hotels in the Historical Center, there is a lot traffic noise coming from the street.

The owner Kelvin is a great host and was very helpful with our visit to Quito. He was very welcoming and made our stay very special. The room was great and the bathroom was modern with good hot water. There is a garden in the back that has a pavilion where you can relax, have a drink, and enjoy a fire in the evening while having a perfect view of the Virgen del Panecillo in the distance. Excellent place to stay at in Quito.

There was some street noise until about 10PM at night and then it was quiet after that. The Wi-fi signal was a little weak in the room but was fine when you were in range of the router.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Travelers House! Kelvin and his wife were so friendly and they went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. The room was clean and spacious and had an antique feeling while having a modernized bathroom, and I really loved the views from balcony. The house was gorgeous and the view of the Virgin of El Panecillo statue in the backyard was just beautiful. Kelvin was so helpful and he explained about the city and provided recommendations. The location is perfect, right in the historical center. Thank you Kelvin, I'm so happy I stayed at the Travelers House!

I don't have any complaints as everything was clean, the service was friendly, and the place was beautiful.

historically interesting

It is an amazing old Spanish-style house which is much larger inside than it appears. The owner was super helpful and it was great fun buying papayas and food in the markets and eating them in the garden.

It was a bit hard to find in the dark when we arrived. Our room was on the street side and it was noisy rather earlier in the morning than I would have liked.

Breakfast was not included, but there was several options within walking distance from the facility. Kelvin and staff were so accommodating and friendly. I will most certainly choose this location again

Beautiful historical building with the view on the montains of the city for moderate price. The owner is very kind, He helped us in everything, to go to the shop and find a taxi. The hotel is in the best position in the center, near all the restaurants and night life in Quito.

unique old home. very cool history. staff was super helpful lining up transportation from airport and transportation to Cotopaxi. very helpful and friendly. quick on the response. Next to La Rhonda and heavy duty old wood shutters to block light and road noise.

It was nicely located at the old town district with virgin of Panicello statue viewing. Walking distance to downtown restaurants & churches. The room was updated with modern facilities and decor. The owner is very friendly & informing me the safety around town. Secured parking lot inside their courtyard.

Very clean and spacious. Good WiFi. Friendly and helpful host - arranged airport transfers for us and also repaired my friend’s backpack for free!

Kelvin was an amazing host. He helped us with all of our questions and made us feel like family. He had very good suggestions for everything basically!

The road can be noisy, if you are not used to city noises. But they did took the measures that they could with a house that is very old (like isolate the doors). So best thing is to just bring earplugs to be sure. Because the place is still worth the stay!

This place is exceptional. Beautiful old house in the middle of old town Quito. Melanie and her mother were amazing hosts. Everything was sorted at lightning speed! We sent messages at all sorts of times and always received a reply really quickly. We didn't realise Melanie was not there when we arrived, her mum who did not speak English was very helpful and told us Melanie was the one who has been messaging us and Melanie was the one who speaks English :) We managed to communicate via Google Translate. The rooms were beautiful, cosy spacious and so clean. We booked the two separate rooms and the bathrooms were renovated. There was an amazing games room and a spacious back garden with spectacular views looking up the hill towards the Angel. Thank you so much for making this a memorable stay for us.

Huge, beautiful, cozy, clean room in a well maintained historic house. We got private balcony with city view and some famous attractions. The house has a big game room with ping-pong table and poll table, we spent couple happy nights there. And it also has a lovely garden where we can have bonfire, barbecues and play with 2 cute dogs. Perfect location. 2 blocks from central plaza, 1 block from Calle Ronda. All famous churches,nice restaurants, historic sites are walkable. The owner Kelvin is a super host. He pay attention to all our need. He also gave us many good advices, like he recommended us to have breakfast at Cafe Caribe, we love it. Best choice in Quito historic zona. 100% recommend.
