We liked the proximity to the beach, location was good and house was spacious enough for family of 4. Appreciated the beach towels and chairs🙂

We had a very nice stay in this apartment. It had everything needed for a nice beach weekend. The balcony is a great place to view the ocean and furnishings were comfortable and clean. The check-in process was seamless and had great communication with the host. Will definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a great stay at this property-- it was literally across the street from a wonderful beach for swimming and walking and the apartment had everything we needed for days at the beach (towels, chairs, boogie boards) as well as for cooking simple meals. The beds were very comfortable and the extra half bathroom and washing machine were a plus. The building itself wasn't super well maintained-- there was water on the ground and stairs often but this did not bother us-- and we also felt very safe and secure with the additional locks/barriers. We would definitely stay here again! The property manager was very communicative.

Being able to walk across the street was the biggest plus to this property. A couple of cons: when the water goes out without notice & the condition of the locks - especially the one for the iron door in front of the unit. It took a lot of wiggling to get it both open & closed. Having some beach toys was also a plus.

Everything was as described just like the previous reviewers, excellent! I had a problem with the key (totally my fault) and they responded quickly and were very helpful and even checked in on me a few times throughout my stay! It was amazing to wake up to that view daily and hear the ocean!!

We love the quiet East end side of the Island for it’s serenity, and Rum point has great snorkeling, restaurants, Starfish point, and the bioluminescent bay within an easy walk/ bike. “The Retreat” is a smaller, oceanfront complex, and our ground floor unit was furnished perfectly, even supplying bikes! And after a hot day outside, the central air conditioning felt so good. I hope we can return.

We are originally from Luquillo and visit often. This property perfect for us! It’s oceanfront, CLEAN, great parking and owner was very responsive and accommodating! Beds were super comfortable. Also has a new washer and dryer unit which was fantastic especially since we were coming off a 6night cruise and I was able to wash clothes. Looking forward to booking agin in the future as it’s the nicest and cleanest I’ve stayed in in Luquillo.

Everything was good, clean and neat.

This property was perfect for a girls getaway. It had a gorgeous view of the ocean that we could enjoy from the balcony. You can hear the waves from inside. The air conditioning in bedroom kept it very cold. It was a bit hot in den/kitchen in the day, would not have been ideal to cook, but we ate out anyway. It was fine for breakfast. The washer and dryer were an awesome bonus. Owner even left a few tide pods to use. The area was very quiet near end of October. Only minutes to food kiosk. Very close to snorkeling tour out of faraday and rainforest. There was a Walgreens 5 min drive we used to stock up on water and snacks. The stairs up are steep was difficult to haul up big suitcase. But was fine otherwise. The beds were very very comfortable. There was plenty of towels and beach towels. Even beach toys, cooler but we didn't use. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This is our second trip this year to PR. Our precious VRBO was awesome, but this one was even better. Located on one of the prettiest section on the beach, walking distance to lots of great dining/drinking choices and a quick drive across the highway to the grocery store/pharmacy. Our hostess was very responsive when we had a little mishap with the keys ( ow located on the bottom of the ocean) and made sure we had everything we needed. Condo is nicely appropriated with everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We felt very safe here as well. We will be back in the spring and will be aiming to stay here again. Bravo!

We throughly enjoyed this place! The location was exactly what we needed to relax with a quiet beach directly across the street. The place was clean and had ample amounts of beach supplies; cooler, towels, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The beds were comfortable and there is a balcony to enjoy the sounds of the waves at night. The host was over the top accommodating for our entire stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The single downfall was the only AC unit was in the bedroom and it wasn’t powerful enough to cool down the entire place; during the heat of the day the kitchen/living room area was far too warm to enjoy. Didn’t really make a big difference to us because we spent our days out and about. We left the bedroom door shut while we were gone and the bedroom was so icy cool when we’d return. It made for the perfect sleeping conditions. Would definitely stay here again when we return! Wonderful trip over all!

The apartment was very nice. it was a spacious little apartment. you can fit four people in the bedroom if two people sleep in one bed and two in the other -- as long as you're comfortable with that. it had a parking space and also an outdoor shower to take the salt off of you after your swim. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. you can't beat having a washer and dryer in any condo. They had a cute little television. unfortunately the cable wasn't working for some reason but I was able to get YouTube and watch some movies and hear music. I did call the property manager and she definitely came over to try to fix it although it was unsuccessful. I would definitely stay here again I thought it was a good deal for Ocean front. The only other issue was some rain that was coming in from the roof falling into the second floor but I put a bucket to tried to help and I believe that issue has to do with the building itself not this particular apartment owner. I had read some of the previous reviews not all of which were good but I'm glad I experienced this myself and I thought it was worth the money. The sound of the ocean every night was incredible. if you do book, make sure you walk towards the end of the beach and you'll have a different perspective of how beautiful this beach is. I would stay again!!!

We were so happy with this beach front stay, could not have been a smoother process and was exactly what we wanted. Will be coming back!

Wonderful location, host communicated well, very nice place

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 day stay at this property hosted by Janet. The view of the beach is awesome and the condo is fully equipped. The bedding/mattress was comparable to the Westin Dream bed and we slept so well every day. Great WiFi and TV channels (we barely watched TV but I did a few times when I was up late). We swam in the beach right in front every day. Janet has a small cooler and a few beach chairs which we used everyday.... Super convenient. Grocery store and all restaurants are within walking distance. Janet is very responsive any time we had a question. We will be back for sure!

The property could use some upgrades, a bid outdated, gates are old and rusty and sometimes hard to open. But if your there just to rest and sleep it’s ok.

Well organized, large bedroom, loved the balcony. But, next time I would love to get the keys to the building entrance. I were locked out one time because we didn't have the keys to unlocked the gate to the entrace to the building. We did have the key to the parking gate. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and we are planning a second stay. Thank you!

Pros: - Location is great: Across the street from the beach Close access to highway, groceries, pharmacy, Luquillo kiosks. - Beds seemed fairly new and were comfortable. - Unit actually has 1.5 bathrooms; room with washer/dryer also has a sink & toilet. - Adequate setup for simple cooking; we made breakfast for ourself every day. - No issues with electricity, water, etc called out as possible inconveniences in the listing. Cons: - This unit is definitely showing it's age. Lots of rust and corrosion from exposure to humidity and salt air, which is somewhat understandable. However, towels are older, stained and in one case frayed. Ceiling fan in bedroom is loose, had to hold it in place to use pull chains to adjust light and fan speed. Kitchen table legs wobbly which we discovered when sweeping. No fan in bathroom with shower so it was a sauna afterwards. - Property manager seems indifferent to the care and comfort of her guests. When we arrived we could not open the only door to the units. Manager sent over cleaner, cleaner's neighbor and brother-in-law who managed to open the door and change out the broken lock. Not once did she apologize for us losing 2 hours of our day or the inconvenience during a long traveling day. - We were not left with enough toilet paper for 2 people for a 5 day stay, 1 roll almost gone and other 3/4 full when we checked in. No extras provided and we were told none was available, despite listing stating it would be provided.

Property was clean. In what felt like a very safe neighborhood. The Air conditioning worked excellent, it was very humid when we stayed. Reserved parking, nice breeze from the second floor balcony. Kitchen utensils were more than adequate. So many towels! You forget how many towels you need on a beach stay. Plenty were provided. Beach was steps away. A good beach too. Washer dryer worked and host was kind enough to leave soap pods. Cooler, beach chairs. ⛱️ Seriously, the only thing missing is you. We loved it. I would absolutely rent this property again.

We completely enjoyed our stay at Luquillo Beach Court. The condo met our needs completely. The beach location was perfect. If we wanted more beach social activity or to see the sunset we simply walked along the sand to another beach. If we wanted to eat or watch surfers we walked the other way. Driving to the rain forest a few times was nice and close and well worth the trip.

This hidden gem is a perfect beach front location. Everything is close by (grocery store, walgreens, tons of local restaurants and bakeries. The famous Luquillo kiosks is a 4 minute drive so it was perfect for us. Our favorite is the beach directly in front of the condo, the view was absolutely beautiful and the beach was warm and beautiful.

Location was amazing. The ocean breeze and the sound of the waves from our condo was wonderful. We didn’t have to turn on the air conditioning at all! Many things within walking distance. Beach was beautiful and the water was crystal clear. Yes, there was some red algae, which everyone has been reading about, but not enough to ruin our vacation. Owner was great! We communicated often and she was so accommodating with everything. Definitely would love to stay again.

Clean and in a nice location close to great places to eat, beaches to explore and El Yunque very nearby. A lovely get away and great value.

The condo was pretty much as advertised and clean and tidy, though beginning to show its age. There were a few minor issues. 1. Temperamental hot water. It worked fine in the bathroom but to get hot water at the kitchen sink required running the hot water in the laundry at the same time. I don't think the kitchen faucet had enough flow to trigger the in-line water heater. 2. Lots of anti-theft bars everywhere (which we are not used to) led us to wonder what the crime rate is like there. 3. The listing appears to say "no wi-fi" but there is and it works well. 4. The directions reference the "kiosks" as a starting point but if you are not from PR you probably won't have any idea what they are. (We do now). In summary, a very comfortable place to stay in close proximity to the beach.

This place is close enough to the airport to travel when arriving late. Great location to visit El Yunke and the bio bay…

The proximity to a great beach is great! However, the layers of old caulking, black mold in the bathroom, BUG problem in the bathroom and bedroom, rust, very poor shower head and water pressure, warmish water-not hot enough for a shower, and broken air conditioning in 86 degrees was just too unbearable. Also, the towels and bedding had a sour, mildew odor and were old and stained. No mattress covers on the mattresses, just a thin polyester fitted sheet on a very old bare mattress. We were in touch with management immediately, and a few times each day with new problems. They responded but could not take care of broken AC or bug problem that were the 2 main concerns. It was too hot to sleep so we had to leave and get other accommodations, we asked to be refunded and they said no.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location!

My daughter and I stayed here for a week. The space definitely merry all it needs. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the condo because we were out exploring the island, but the view of the ocean and ability to listen to the waves was so relaxing! My only recommendation would be an updated picture and description of the key lockbox. With the ocean on your left, facing the lockboxes, it’s the one in the far left! Thank you for a great first stay in Puerto Rico!

Communication was always quick. The included chairs and cooler were great. The kitchen was also well stocked. The one minute walk ti the beach was nice. There is also a grocery store and pharmacy just a couple minutes away.
