Morning Star est le bungalow de plage par excellence; construite dans les années 1930, et entièrement rénovée et rénovée en 2004, cette maison allie harmonieusement l'ancien et le nouveau. Morning Star a trois chambres dont deux avec un lit queen et des lits jumeaux et la chambre principale avec un lit king. Il y a deux salles de bain complètes chacune avec une baignoire / douche. Les autres équipements incluent Internet sans fil gratuit, climatisation centrale, trois téléviseurs, téléphone, Internet sans fil, chaîne stéréo / lecteur CD, DVD, lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse, douche extérieure et gril à gaz. Profitez du café tôt le matin sur le porche avant ou du grand pont arrière et dînez sur le porche grillagé. Lorsque vous voulez vous aventurer, cette maison est idéalement située à distance de marche de tous les magasins et restaurants de l'île. L'amarrage pour un bateau est disponible sur demande. Morning Star was perfect for our family. Being on Lighthouse Rd, we felt like part of the community, even met some neighbors. We were centrally located, and with a golf cart, we could access the whole village in minutes! The beds were very comfortable, the shower was perfect and the whole house and decor made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Spending evenings on the front porch people watching was one of our favorite pastimes! I would recommend Morning Star to anyone!

We had a beautiful stay on Ocracoke at Morning Star with our kids (11, 8 and 5). The house was the perfect home base for our vacation and was spacious and comfortable. We especially appreciated the screened in porch and outside shower. Would love a corkscrew and vegetable peeler in the kitchen, but other than that it was well-equipped for cooking meals (we mostly ate in) and it was spotlessly clean. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great location near the lighthouse. First floor king room, & two 2nd floor Queen & Twin rooms. Nicely decorated living areas.. The screened porch off the kitchen was great. Coffee & breakfast there every morning. The kitchen could be a little better stocked. We were just two couples, but for a 3 bedroom rental, I think you would need more dishes, etc. This was our first trip to Ocracoke. We loved it. Our friend had a 4-wheel drive, so we could drive on the beach. There is a tram system with multiple pick-up & drop-off locations. Very cool. We loved The Flying Melon, Ocracoke Coffee, & of course Howard’s Pub. We will return to Ocracoke & would rent this lovely home again.

Our group had a great time at ocracoke island. The house was very clean and tidy. The weather wasn’t the best while we were there but the house made up for it, cozy home away from home!

This beautiful updated home was more then I expected. A trip for my daughter’s wedding on the island turned into what will now be a yearly vacation spot. This home location was great, the multiple porches awesome, amenities exactly what you need to just show up with your food and clothes and your all set. The updated home is perfect for a large family. Very comfortable and unless it’s booked I’ll never select another home on the island. Everyone that stopped by were so impressed. Highly recommend

I was traveling with two friends for a girls' weekend. The cottage was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sharon at The Harbor Inn was very accommodating when we needed to slide our arrival one day later due to a business trip and then back to our original date when the business trip was canceled. Our only (very tiny) criticism is that they could use some new bath towels, but the ones there did the job so it wasn't a big deal. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Morning Star & on Ocracoke Island. The home was clean and just as described. Full kitchen made cooking meals easy and the friendliness of everyone on the island made our vacation very enjoyable. We cannot wait to return. It was paradise!

We all enjoyed the front porch and screened porch around back during 2 days of torrential rain. We never used the TV's at all because the outdoor areas were so awesome--even in the rain!

We loved the property and would stay there again for sure. The only complaint we had was the bees nest in the front archway walking into the house. Several bees and wasps flying around made it difficult to go in and out of the house ...Highly recommend for families!

I brought my family in from California for a short family reunion. The house provided all that we needed, which was a tall order as there were nine of us! We absolutely loved the property and the ease in checking in/out with the rental company. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone!
