Koora Hotel is a hidden gem. The staff was amazing, as were the accommodations, location and food. Koora also has it's own private reserve, with some amazingly private trails. The staff remembered our names the whole time we were there, which is something we've never experienced anywhere else. We wound up with a flat tire on our rental car as we were checking out (nail in the tire 😑) and 2 of the guys at the hotel immediately jumped in to change it out for the spare. We would definitely stay at Koora again...we were a bit sad we didn't stay longer.

The internet was down during most of our stay, but it wasn't the end of the world without it.

the location is gorgeous, secluded in the cloud forest with a beautiful trail next to it. on a clear day, you will be able to see the Pacific Ocean in the distance. the hotel is very trendy and modern. the view from the room was mind blowing. most importantly, the service was amazing and personalized. the staff was extremely attentive to small details, addressed every family member by their names and made the stay memorable. we travel frequently but haven’t received such service in the vast majority of hotels. highly recommend this place

A perfect experience, in every aspect. We came as a family of 5, and took the bungalow. On arrival, the staff welcomed us at the parking lot and helped us. Gave us the perfect feeling of our stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous - in the woods, with a beautiful view and lots of wildlife around. We actually saw more animals there than in the parks. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a family of coaties. Then saw some more mammals, lots of birds and others. The room was big (2 floors) and with a large balcony with a wonderful view, and the bathroom downstairs is with a window to the forest - a great experience. It felt like they thought of all the small details: nets on the windows and doors, a/c, fans and heating, umbrellas to take, great local coffee. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good, in a large space with a beautiful view as well. Can't explain, again, how wonderful the staff was!

Our stay was perfect! Yet, you always have to find at least one point of improvement: we had not enough warm water in the morning (we did have the evening before)

The location is magical and the staff are exceptional. Felt like we were staying in the home of good friends.

The drive up to the hotel is somewhat precarious but the welcome more than compensated for that!

The staff was superb. So friendly and helpful. The food was 5 star delicious and pizza was custom made. Caotis in the jungle was fun. Loved everything about our experience.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, despite only staying for one night. The rooms were lovely, with a spectacular view across Monteverde. The staff were the best part of our experience. They were delightful and made us feel very settled.

Amazing staff. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs and are truly caring and kind. The treehouse type room and the accompanying layout and privacy of each bungalow is superb. The adjacent and free for guests preserve and the wildlife around your room make it even better. The food and happy hour were quite delicious as well. Stop looking and book here.

The bungalows are set among the forest and the access to the trails of the private reserve are terrific. The restaurant is fantastic and the staff are warm, welcoming, and lovely.

The property is located in an amazing forest with a wonderful view. The sunset was amazing. The food was amazing. The room that we were staying had a very cute balcony with a feeling like you are in the middle of the forrest. And finally the most wonderful thing about the property, from the very beginning of our arrival the staffs were so kind, so helpful and always with a big smile on their faces; Kenneth, Ali, Marcus and the ones that we unfortunately don’t remember the names… Thank you!

The only thing I would say about “not liking” it which was okey but could be better is the bathroom. It was a bit old and will be better to renovate…
