Walking distance to everything in town. Property was clean and well maintained.

Room was cold. There is a gas fireplace in room (on of the reasons we booked the room) but a sign saying it was turned off. When we asked the manager he said there was a crack in the chimney so could not use it. The heat source was a unit installed above the window. It would heat to 64 and then shut off no matter what it was set at. We contacted manager and he brought over a portable heater which would get the room up to 64. He was very rude and left in a huff slamming the door. Never checked back again.

Big comfy bed in main room. Good TV. Small microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Be sure to bring cups, knife, spoon, bowls etc. the only thing provided was a corkscrew and coffee packets. Bathroom is big, shower is small, jacuzzi tub is fairly big.
This house (ships quarters) has four units. We stayed on the ground floor. It was not too noisy inside or out. There are other locations one block closer to the lake that have porches that face the lake that I wish we would have chosen instead. But, all in all, it was an ok value.

Great location, easy to walk to town. Quiet and safe. I have bikes and scooter on my car parked outside and not one worry! Great spot!

This is a nice room in a quiet area that is still close to restaurants, shops and the ferry to Madeline Island. Everything was as advertised.

Perfect spot in Bayfield
Location was perfect for seeing the sights in Bayfield and easy access to and from Hwy 13. Slight hiccup with the cleaning crew was remedied quickly by Jon and was accompanied by a small refund for the inconvenience. Great customer service!

The property was close to down town. Quiet for the most part. Bed was super comfortable but wish it had been a king size

We really enjoyed our stay at "Jennie E". The apartment was small, but had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. A full size coffee maker would be nice as there is only a small 4 cup "motel" style coffee maker and both my wife and I enjoy our morning coffee!

Wonderful trip!
We greatly enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood and the comfort of this room! It was all exactly as described and we loved our time at Ship’s Quarters and in Bayfield!

The suite was exactly as we pictured. Just a half block off the main drag. Jack the property manager was great. We locked our keys in our room and he was funny and gracious and rescued us. We sat on the front porch a couple of times and had coffee . Very relaxing.

This was an amazing place to stay for a few nights to be able to experience Bayfield. Being able to walk to everything was incredible. I would definitely stay again... correction.. will stay again.

Easy - easy _ easy
Clean, furniture a little worn, bed was great, quiet, super easy to walk anywhere, including coffee, food, shopping, docks and trails. It was perfect for me and would easily work for a couple.

Weekend Getaway
My husband and I stayed at this property for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location is perfect.... walking distance to everything, yet off the Main Street, so it’s very quiet. Unit is small, but had everything we needed. Comfy bed and huge bathroom. It was a great weekend and we will stay there again!

The house was amazing, the accommodations were more than adequate. We loved loved the front porch! The location to the rest of the town couldn't have been better! We will definitely be back!

Great room, comfortable bed, huge tub. Easy walk to restaurants, cafes, waterfront. WiFi was not working when we needed it, but we found a workaround.

We'll be back
We've stayed in the Jennie E before - over 4 years ago. We came back because it was a great time then. Still a great stay. The room is large and comfortable. The whirlpool tub is fabulously large. We were a little disappointed that the gas fireplace was shut off for the summer as we would have preferred to run that briefly over switching the heater on during the cold spell we experienced.

Great location and a great property manager
Jack was super helpful when there was an issue with the heating. The room was comfortable, clean and as described. It even had a coffee maker with creamers and sugar for convenience. Very good location. We walked to everything. It was a very happy stay indeed :)
