The view from the common room was stunning! This turned every breakfast into something special! Brigitte shared with us many valuable insights on trips, destinations and hidden gems. It was so lovely to use the common (living) room and kitchen with other guests and sit together for a sundowner drink.

We were delighted with the amazing view from the shared sitting room and kitchen. Everything we could need was provided. The hosts were very welcoming. There were so many artistic touches to the place. There are stunning views, beach walks, beautiful wild flowers nearby. A delicious breakfast was provided which we were not expecting. We had an enjoyable chat with other guests. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

Great location in stunning surroundings. Very friendly atmosphere and relaxing environment in the hostel. The local people are very friendly too. Lovely breakfast included. We enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room, clean and even with a great view from the room.

the host Brigitte is wonderful. she had recommendations and advice that saved our trip and really enhanced it. the views are other worldly and she actually sliced grapes for an outstanding breakfast. my family of four loved our stay

Amazing views with beautiful location. Host Brigitte was so caring and lovely, she has thought of everything to make you feel welcomed. The place is so cosy and has that special vibe that makes you want to indulge and stay there forever. We loved the fire place .Brigitte baked home made bread- served as part of breakfast, just delicious!!

We loved everything, everything was more than perfect!!!

I was made to feel very welcome and Brigitte had a great deal of local knowledge about locations and places to visit. I really liked the views from the sitting room, the peat fire in the evenings and the tranquillity as the sun set out over the bay. I went for the walking festival, but is a great location for doing your own thing. There are many walks ranging from high hills to pristine beaches (Ballinreacy Strand) or neolithic / bronze age sites to visit. The Lookout is little more than a 5 minute drive to Ardara village which is small, but had everything I required – good places to eat and good pubs with live music.

Nothing really. But before going I was slightly concerned about the shared bathroom / shower room – but in fact this was not a problem.

The views were amazing. We had everything we needed. Adrien was the perfect host and his homemade breakfasts were amazing.

Amazing stay in a peaceful and remote area! Ireland as it should be! Thank you both Adrien( the magic pancake wizard) &Brigitte...I'm looking forward seeing you again soon! Next time I'm going for at least eleven pancakes...;-)

Incredible views over Maghara beach, the waterfall and the hills. We were excited about the pancakes per the previous reviews and they didn't disappoint. They were incredible! Bridgette was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She has been coming to Ireland for 27 years and knows way more about than the country than i do as a native! She had great knowledge about amazing walks and hikes and recommendations of town and hostels to stay at elsewhere in the country. She also gave us a lift into Ardara and picked us up so that we could have a few drinks in one of the awesome pubs. Brillant hosts.

I loved everything about this charming place! From the moment I arrived the owners were so kind, welcoming and accommodating, I was made feel at home straight away and assured I could go to them with anything I needed. They made sure the house was warm and cosy when I was there and omg the breakfasts were incredible - thank you Adrian!! The view from the property is absolutely spectacular, the pics really don't do it justice - I arrived in the dark so I didn't see it before I went to bed but when I woke up in the morning my jaw was on the floor for a good 30 mins. The perfect place to rest and recharge, you will leave overflowing with gratitude! The property itself is fab also, was really great to have a kitchen fully stocked with utensils and make my own meals. I also got to play with their cute little kitten Chai which was a huge bonus. Thanks Brigitte and Adrian for the wonderful stay I hope to come back here some day ❤️🌊🐚
