The hotel is perched high above the town and we had a lovely sea view from our balcony. Breakfast was served in the restaurant, and was self service with a good selection.

The restaurant was only open for brekfast and so there was nowhere to eat in the evening, despite all the adverts! The options were a 30 minute walk into town and taxi back or order a take-away meal to be delivered to the hotel. We were not informed at checkin that the restaurant was not open but staff did help us to order a meal to be delivered on out first night. The swimming pool was closed (desoite the advertising billboard) On 2 days out of our 5 night stay, the water supply failed. After a long delay, staff supplied a large bottle of water for washing. We had no water on the morning of our departure.

I stayed twice at Pombas Resort. It is quite a big location on the top of a hill, overlooking the ocean and a part of the town. The view is very pittoresque. And the rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Everyday the cleaning ladies were cleaning all the rooms and did a good job! Some rooms are really large, others are smaller. Wifi connection is excellent. Beautiful sunsets. Nice balconies. Free water in the fridge. And for sale: Beer and snacks at the reception. All the receptionists are very friendly and helpfull. I could stall my trolley when I left by boat to the beautiful island of Santa Antao.

Breakfast was sometimes good, but also lots of times there was almost nothing to eat anymore. They change the breakfast times really very often, without any notice. There were days the breakfast was available untill 10.30. Or untill 9.30 or 8.30 or 10.00. Only once they put a note under my door to let me know the next morning the breakfast was untill 10.00. Also one morning the guard locked the breakfast room! Although I arrived before closing time. Very bad service! The location is off track. It is 30 minutes walking into town centre. Mostly there was no soap in the bathrooms. THE SWIMMING POOL AREA WAS CLOSED IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2024

Tolle Aussicht und gute Ausstattung!

Die Lage ist so abgelegen, dass man meist ein Taxi benötigt. Leider gibt es fussläufig keine Supermarkt oder Restaurant. Wir wurden nachts geweckt, um zu zahlen und als wir Taxi bei Rezeption bestellten, kam es nicht und unser Wunsch nach Dringlichkeit wurde nicht angenommen.

Personeel! Erg vriendelijk en lief.

Ik kon er eigenlijk in de avond niet eten. Er zouden snacks zijn maar daar wisten ze niks van. Eerste avond wat besteld was heel erg vies, 2e avond kon ik aansluiten bij een groep dat was prima 3e avond in mindela gegeten

Tout...qualité hébergement situation et personnel bienveillant . Très bien. Vue exceptionnelle.

Un peu éloigné centre mais Taxi à 2 euros !

Op het moment van het verblijf was het restaurant en het hoofdgebouw met zwembad en spa gesloten.
