We had a lovely stay at this home. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious so we could all spread out. We were glad to have a nice warm house to stay in because the weather was terrible! I also went swimming in the warm pool even though it was 60 and raining! Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we had to leave several days early because of health issues.
The house is perfect. Daniel was very easy to deal with. I wish we could have stayed longer.
This property is highly recommended. You will love it.

We had a lovely stay and had a great time at the awesome pool! We felt at home and enjoyed the amenities! After a bit of a rocky start over the security deposit our host was generous to let us know that the home was ready for occupancy early and that we were welcome to check in early. We would stay at this property again.

Very comfortable stay and easily accessible property manager.

This house is great for families. It is uniquely designed with lots of open space. The pool is lovely and it is just a short walk to the bay. Hamptons beaches are amazing, but this house's proximity to the bay and access to a pool made the stay wonderful when the weekend crowds arrived. The owner is responsive, available, and clear in expectations and communications. Overall, an excellent experience that we would want to do again!

House is lovely with open areas that flow nicely. A library for peace and quiet.. Kitchen and dining room lead to an open deck for outside dining and large decked pool. Short walk to a small bay beach to watch the fabulous sunset. Perfect location near all beaches and towns whether you want action or relaxation this is the place! We're coming back!

We had such a great family vacation at this property! Every thing was clean and made us feel right at home. Our only complaint was that we weren’t ready to leave! Can’t wait to come back and enjoy this beautiful home again soon. Thank you Susanne for everything! Highly recommend!!!

Very close to beach, birding and hiking trails with a quick ride to Main Street Sag Harbor. Beautiful spacious home. Not sure why we had to wash the linens and towels before we left or why we couldn't leave clean dishes in the dishwasher. It was a 5 otherwise

We had a wonderdul time at susanne s property. It felt like a proper escape and retreat. What we liked the most was the location of the house 5min from long beach, 12min from southampton trainnstation, 8min from sag harbor town. The house has been well maintained with a fully equipped and updated kitchen. Linens, sheets and towels were very high end. Pool and deck are were lovely. Susanne was of great help always available to answer questions.
The only point i would keep in mind that wasnt clear to us through listing photos or descriptions was that the gorgeous and spacious master bedroom was in a mezannine style fully open to the main landing of the house. Overall that layout is not really ideal for couples sharing the house with friends and looking for a romantic adult getaway. Whoever ends up staying in the master should be okay to have less privacy during the vacation.
Besides that we had a fabulous time !

We had a lovely stay in this house, my husband, myself and my two kids (ages 6 and 12). The house was immaculate! We loved the open layout of the house, the pool and the barbeque, body boards and pool toys. The owners were accommodating, helpful and responsive to questions. We loved the nature center and sandy bay very near the house and also enjoyed the bay across the street, which was fun to walk to and collect shells. Though our stay was shortened by us as we were afraid of a Hurricane Henri, we had a lovely week in this home. (A bonus was the great collection of kids books that the owners have).

We stayed at this old house in June left the place in extra clean condition received a msg from Suzzane koenig accusing me of whole bunch of nonsense stains garbage etc charging extra $ we are both attorneys and will move forward with legal action if in fact charges were made to my cc also dont be fooled by the walking distance beach it's a launching pad for jet ski, never again

We choose this house for it's location and proximity to family and friends. The house is well stocked with amenities, there were lots of interesting books and toys and games- which was great since the weather was a bit rainy and cold while we were there in early June. The heated pool was a favorite activity for the kids no matter the weather! Plenty of pool toys and comfortable seating around the pool were also appreciated! The bay access was perfect for watching sunsets, collecting shells, and going out on our paddleboards. We were a little surprised by the loft like set up of the primary bedroom- open to the living room below, and the glass doors on the den also did not provide a lot of privacy for my aunt who stayed on the pull out couch, but ultimately we found the house to be very comfortable and these things did not bother us in the long run. All in all we found this to be an excellent house and we would rent here again in the future.

Overall, great stay at this home. The host was extremely pleasant and useful. It was our infants first time traveling to the beach, and the host was very helpful with tips. The home is well placed, and easy to both find and manage, especially with an infant. There is more than enough space to enjoy a family vacation. The outdoor deck is fantastic, lovely dinner's for sunset is a dream; and as far as the pool - the fact that it's heated is incredible, made it great for our infants first time in pool water.
The neighborhood is awesome, with a nature walk near by leading towards the bay. Car ride away from the town where there are plenty of awesome restaurants which the host will surely give many great tips of where to go.
I would highly recommend the stay, and if you decide you will certainly enjoy!

The location of this home was ideal for us because we have friends within a few blocks in each direction. Also it’s proximity to Jessup’s Neck, which is our favorite hike . Susanne was terrific & attentive. The unique design of the house interior fostered our family bonding.

A once decent house in disrepair. Nothing has been done for upkeep in years, and it shows. Very difficult owners who refuse to speak to you. No welcome acknowledgement is just a small indication of the absence of hospitality. You will need to take your own trash in your car to the garbage center as well as all recycables. No garbage service, no cable, be careful flushing toilets and turning on faucets, hand-me-down furniture, and no heat overnight were some of the highlights. Owner communicated via sparodic texts as if written by a child; very difficult to decipher. Some of the many instructions are incorrect. If you get this on the cheap, it's ok.

We were there in October 2020 with 2 adults / 2 kids. We loved the house. Communication with Susanne was very easy. The kids loved combing the small private beach for shells and rocks while the adults enjoyed the sunset. In summary, we had a great stay and we would come again.

This house was perfect for our family of five. We all really enjoyed the pool, exploring the area, and the short walk to the little beach to search for shells. It's proximity to Long Beach for amazing sunsets and Sag Harbor for takeout and frozen yogurt make it a great stay.

This house is extremely livable and comfortable with luxurious elements like a huge heated pool (perfect for kids and adults), top of the line kitchen, and cozy beds. The location in the Sag Harbor area near the Elizabeth Morton Wildlife Refuge, Trout Pond, and Long Pond make it the perfect place to get away from it all! Beaches, ponds, forest trails, biking, hikes, it's all right at your doorstep! Just a fabulous house and lovely, private, quiet setting.

We enjoyed our stay at Suzanne’s home, and she was most accommodating in answering all our pre-arrival questions. Wish we could have used the wonderful 40 foot long lap pool in the backyard, but we were there off season. The kitchen was well supplied, the beds extremely comfortable, and the house unique in its design. My only suggestion would be to include in the description that there are high steps with no railings leading up to the front door as well as steps and flights of stairs in the home itself with no hand railings. Other than that, a delightful get-away place!

Traveled with four total people and really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Beautiful house and property, wonderfully located. Wonderful Amenities all around. Enjoyed being out by the pool all day and grilling every evening with a cocktail on the deck.
A wonderful document is supplied by Susanne with all the items you need to know about the house. Wonderfully located on a secluded street. We never had to leave the entire weekend. Kitchen is wonderfully gourmet with all the items you need to cook some great meals. Just bring your groceries or have them delivered via fresh direct.
We very much look forward to another trip to this wonderful home.
Some items of note:
-Master bedroom is completely open to the house via a low level wall overlooking the living and entry area. If you need privacy in your bedroom, just know going into this is not the situation.
-Check in and out times are different on listing then on the contract (only an hour different on each one). This is something that should be fixed in the listing, especially if arrival and departure time are very important to you.

We had a great stay this past weekend and would absolutely rent again! With 3 adults, we had plenty of space with room to spare. As other reviewers note, the master bedroom does open up to the downstairs, but that was not a problem for us (we all wake up and go to sleep at similar times). The kitchen was nice and spacious and had all the tools we needed to cook each meal. The location was also very close to Main St Sag Harbor and was only a 15 minute drive to excellent dinner options 2 of the nights. The pool was comfortable and had lots of shade - much needed during a weekend with temperatures in the 90s. If you want lots of sun, beautiful beaches are easily accessible.
Overall a really great stay and would highly recommend if you're looking to escape the city. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Susanne's home while we were in town for a wedding. It's a short walk/drive from a beautiful nature preserve with beach, and the backyard set up with pool and BBQ was a perfect place to relax and enjoy each other's company. The open plan living room/kitchen is conducive for families/groups and bedrooms are comfortable and airy (love the art too!). Would definitely recommend this home or return with my family again!

We stayed for a weekend in June and it was exactly what we needed! The house was very clean, well equipped and perfectly located on a peaceful street, perfect for relaxing.
We didn’t get to take advantage of the pool but there were many fun things to do nearby we didn’t mind. Overall, a great home and would love to come back.

We enjoyed our weekend at the house and found it very easy to access. My only complaint was that taking the trash to the center was a bit inconvenient.

We rented Susanne's home to spend Thanksgiving out near Sag Harbor with friends. Little did we know that it would be one of the coldest Thanksgivings on record! Susanne's home was toasty warm and she supplied everything we needed in the kitchen to cook up a feast! Located close to nature walks and the water, it provided our group with just the retreat we were looking for. Susanne was both responsive and super accommodating. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Had a wonderful experience staying at this house - it was clean, well-kept, and in a quiet location. The media room was stocked with lots of children's books to entertain preschoolers. Easy drive to town. Very relaxing stay during the off-season.

Looking at all the offered homes around the Hamptons, for the price, location and house itself, this appeared to be the best. My wife and I, along with two other couples from our 1970 college days feel our choice was correct
