This property, though quite dated, was in a great location. Upon our evening arrival, we found the 2nd story apartment in disarray as the cleaning service had not been there after the previous renters. Our first impression was "the place is trashed". We contacted Christin who apologized and thankfully set us up in a different location for the night and then got the cleaning crew in to do their job. We returned to a clean place, but still were a bit soured by the appearance from the previous night. There was no air conditioning and very few windows that open - a few box fans could help in keeping the place a bit more comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked, although we did not make meals there. The location was the best attribute within walking distance from downtown restaurants and shopping, park, etc. Overall, we appreciated Christin's response to our situation upon arrival. The place could use some updating and brightening, but the location gets five stars.

The property had all we needed but is in much need of updating. The kitchen sink was dripping - notified owner and they had plans to fix later. Showers were a bit tricky to use - just old. Owner was very responsive and location great - just a lot of money to spend for an old, kind of dingy place.

Loc within couple mins. walk to gondola, beautiful mountain views, large condo with plenty of comfort despite dated interior, grocery store a block away so convenience reigns. Christin was quite helpful, made checking in and out easy. Would visit again.

Christin was a joy to work with, highly responsive to all of my questions on a very timely basis. The condo is beautiful and comfortable. Very conveniently located to skiing locations, grocery store, and downtown shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and hope to return!

The condo was in a great location, walkable to everything. It was very clean and comfortable if not a bit dated. Had a very rustic cabin like feel to it. Very comfortable beds, lots of towels and blankets, and a well stocked kitchen. The water pressure in both showers was a little weak but I’ve never stayed in a Aspen before so don’t know if that’s just the way it is here. The owner was great at communication and very kind, I would definitely stay here again. Nice little balcony out the back with a lovely view of the mountains, the market is a one block walk so very easy to shop for groceries throughout the week not just having to make one big trip. Very very happy with our stay!!

We had a lovely stay at Clairvaux Condominium, located in the heart of Aspen. Exceptionally comfortable, clean, and welcoming with views of Aspen Mountain from the living room area. All the amenities one would expect to make for a most enjoyable visit to Aspen! Highly recommend. Winston

We enjoyed staying at this little house! Tons of storage for luggage to be put out of the way. There’s plenty of hooks for ski clothes to hang up. Very convenient! Close enough to walk anywhere. Clean and tidy. Extra blankets and pillows provided. Great experience!

Nice place - super convenient

Location is an easy walk in ski boots and carrying skis to the gondola. Same to get to bus area for other areas. Easy walk to downtown; food market is one block away. Condo was spacious, clean, well appointed. Parking was right in front of the unit. Owner responded very quickly via text to a couple of questions. We had a little problem with the outside door light blinking at night, but she had it fixed by the next day. We definitely received great value for the price. Highly recommend the entire experience.

Stayed here with some friends for a 5-day ski trip. Was so convenient to get to the slopes, the market, downtown, everything! No frills, but everything you need. If you're looking for a place that's convenient and affordable (almost impossible in Aspen), this is the place!

We stayed as a family of four with our 3.5 and 1.5 year old children over New Years 2019. The location of the condo could not be more perfect within a couple blocks of the Aspen Mountain gondola and buses to Highlands/Buttermilk/Snowmass, around the corner from City Market, and a short stroll to all the Aspen restaurants and stores. We had a spectacular view of the Aspen mountain New Years fireworks. We knew from the maps that the location would be good, but the condo itself was even better than the photos. It is sparkling clean, and has the feel of a true vintage ski chalet. Clearly the owners have cared deeply for this home over the years and it radiates warmth. The owners are very thoughtful including things like plenty of coffee filters, soaps/shampoos, laundry detergent, etc. so we did not have to go out and buy these items for just a five day stay. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive answering all our questions right away, even allowing us to ship a "pack and play" and offering to purchase it if we left it in the condo. I honestly cannot imagine there is a better value in all of Aspen. We hope to return again soon!

Comfy and cozy....and only a block from City Market and the bus stop returning from the Music Festival. Hope to be back next year!

Had no AC so we had a very hot week in July. 70’s decor so it was rustic but comfortable. I made recommendations to the owner about better lighting and new towels. She is a pleasure to deal with.

Cozy condo close to Gondola and everything downtown Aspen has to offer. Perfect size, and the only thing we would have liked was to have more comfortable seating for all of us in the living room area. Other than that, perfect!

This property takes you back in time. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. I grew up in Aspen in the 60's-70's so this was a great spot. The location is what I was after and it has nice light in the living room. Simple cute and comfortable.

We spent 10 days in Aspen in early September and wanted to have the comforts of being at home instead of staying at a hotel. The condo is fully equipped (2 bed/2 baths, washer/dryer, cable/internet, full service kitchen, etc.), well maintained, and has a great view of the mountains out the living room windows. And the location can't be beat. Short walk to everything in Aspen (groceries, restaurants, bars, shops, and the gondola up Aspen mountain is just blocks away), and Aspen is centrally located for exploring the surrounding Colorado area. Lots to do in the area. Would strongly recommend staying here.
