We were very satisfied with our unit. Worked out well. It was great because we had our unit and additional family rented a unit across the cul-de-sac so that was perfect. Everything was fine. Decor could use some freshening, but no big deal. It was clean which is the biggest things. Walk to the beach was about 10 mins, but easy. I would def. recommend .

The pictures listed on the website do not do this condo justice. It is absolutely beautiful! It’s located on the point in the Wild Dunes community. The pool and tennis courts are close. The beach is close as well but we never ventured that way to see exactly where it was. Parking is tight but for 2 cars it worked with one car in the garage and one car in the driveway. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Customer service was wonderful!

Beautiful view & easy access to beach. Thank goodness we were on the first floor when the elevator was being repaired after we checked in. We had 2 in our party that have a difficult time with stairs but my son did the moving of bags at check out. Kitchen basics are needed. Had a wonderful time& would ask for the same unit again. Thank you.

The condo was quiet, clean and full of light. But there was no easy beach access and in general the Isle of Palms is really overdeveloped. There are inns, condos, and Mac mansions everywhere. The north end of the island where wild dunes is is particularly bad- you can see these high rises being built practically at waters edge.

We had a great time at Linkside 1! It was perfect for our family of 5. There was plenty of room, thr house was clean, it was quiet and peaceful, and just a short golf cart ride away from the beach. I would suggest renting a golf cart if you stay at this property just to make it easier to get to the beach. It had a beautiful view off of the porches to enjoy! Island Realty is always so easy to work with and super helpful! We will definitely be renting through them again in the future. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I came to this property for a nice relaxing golf trip before my brothers wedding, with some of his friends from high school, his stepdad and his cousin. They all smoke, I do not, I was called and berated by a British woman about smoking, because the cleaner miscommunicated. I don’t blame the cleaner, English was clearly not her first language, but the way this woman spoke to me and flat out lied about the details of the contract was unacceptable and in direct violation of the code of ethics of real estate in my state. As a realtor I like to think I understand contract linguistics and obligatory statements pretty well, she claimed they were able to do random checks on the property, which they weren’t, said we’d be kicked out for smoking, which was not mentioned in the contract, and told us we were on thin ice, causing a less enjoyable stay all around. I will not be returning and I would strongly recommend people go elsewhere.

We had a wonderful time at Linkside 1!! We were so grateful for the experience! There was plenty of space for our family! It is a long trek to the beach, so we would suggest renting a golf cart for your stay and using golf cart beach access points. The condo is decorated nicely, was very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Rough Checkin-lack of communication from Island Realty

We were sent to a house that had not been vacuumed and the air conditioning was not working. Upon arrival I immediately called housekeeping and they came right out to vacuum. However, we noticed it was 85 degrees in the house and just thought maybe previous renters left it high or perhaps no one was in the week before. The cleaning "card" also was signed by Jennifer, dated 7/5. We arrived on 7/12. Made me think it hadn't been cleaned at all.
After unloading in the sweltering heat I called maintenance to get the garage pin code (not provided during checkin). It was only then that Mike informed me that the air conditioning was not working and that an HVAC guy would be out between 8-9:00pm. He came at 9:00pm. It was a huge inconvenience and the first level of the house didn't cool down until the next am.
I called Island Realty to speak to someone regarding the issue multiple times. Linda (property manager) never returned my last phone call. They made no attempt to offer any type of compensation or apologies. I would not use Island Realty again.
The house itself is in a great quiet community. Spacious, well appointed, comfy beds. Like previous reviews, there are some maintenance issues (MB shower slight mold), ceiling fan on porch doesn't really work, kitchen could use some bowls, but these are minor.
We drove to the beach and parked at one of the close condo buildings. Had no issues with parking there even though it said you weren't supposed to. It's too long to walk to the beach access, especially when it's so hot with all your gear.
Golf courses were shut down Thursday due to COVID, we got our round in Wednesday just in time.
If Island Realty had reached out and offered some compensation this review would have been better. The house itself is very nice.

I believe this is our 4th stay in this property. I am sad to say it will probably be our last. It has gone down hill. There were ants in the kitchen. We killed a roach in the Master Bedroom. The whole condo had a mildew smell. The thermostat had a governor on it and the whole condo was hot with no ability to adjust. The stove was worn out. The TVs all ran from only one remote. They were Roku TVs with Xfinity service. This combination was horrible. The internet has been changed to a "free" service that had an awkward sign up process and had to be relogged into every day by every device. This property can be a beautiful place but not at the state it is in now.
