Exactly what we wanted in a cabin. Beautiful location, amazing views, excellent hosts that went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed!

We liked everything

This is a wonderfully located wood cabin with its own private access to the lake. The property itself is well-stocked with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, including access to a barbecue, an outside wood burner and even beach balls and frisbees to play with in the lake. And it's the lake that makes this so special, we spent our time either sitting watching it or swimming in it. After a few hectic days in cities, this was everything we needed - to stop, slow down and appreciate nature. The communication with the owners was helpful and informative and they were responsive with all of our questions.

Very minor things - It was often amusingly tricky to work out how to switch various lights on or off, and a towel holder in the main bedroom's bathroom wasn't actually secured to the wall ... I caught it as it fell, but it's worth being careful!
